The Rare and Rejected Mate Chapter 17

"Shelia is back" Did I hear him correctly, did he just say that Sheila is back? Isn't she the one who broke up with me then why is she back here I end up asking him and he says that she wants to get back with me but, that part is over she rejected me so I had no choice but to reject her. Now I'm happy with my new mate Amber that the moon goddess has blessed me with and this is my chance to move on and not look back. Whatever Sheila wants I hope it's to apologize or to make amends but, as far as trying to get back with me and restart the mate bond, which is possible it's rare but possible, that's not going to happen. I hang up the phone with Dad after I tell him I and Amber will be there tomorrow afternoon.

Part of me is glad that Amber is coming with me but, part of me is a little bit scared, I should say. Don't get me wrong I'm not scared because of Sheila and Amber meeting, I'm scared because Amber has a temper and she could become real jealous, so jealous to the point where she can literally punch through cement. I just hope that Sheila is not there waiting for me when I arrive back at the pack.

"Babe, are you, okay, you look worried?" Amber comes up behind me rubbing my arms, she always knows how to calm my nerves.

"Yeah, it's just my ex is back well my ex-mate is back."

"Oh, well then I hope she likes being an ex because she's staying that way. She better watch her back, if she tries anything I will defend what's mine." I turn around and I grabbed her by the waist and put my arms around her.

"Ooooo, I love it when you talk that way." I took a strand of hair behind her ear and kiss her lightly on the cheek, at the same time her mom announce that dinner is ready and soon Kevin and Diamond come downstairs to join us as well as Alpha Richards who comes from his office and sits by his lovely wife.

"Amber, now I want you to be on your best behavior tomorrow you are visiting another pack so respect the Alpha and the Luna."

"Yes Dad, I will. Don't worry the Silverstone pack will be represented well."

"And you young man, her dad turns to me. You better take good care of my daughter while you're away, don't let anything happen to her even if someone talks bad about her you should be the first one to defend her, I did when my parents talk bad about her. That's the power of love the power of the mate bond."

The next morning, I finished packing the car and Amber finishes getting ready, I can't wait to be back to my pack and I can't wait for you to meet everyone they're so anxious to meet her. She will be a great Luna after all she's already great with me. Amber is the type that she puts her mind to anything that she does and anything that she wants to do, she has a great and motherly instinct to help and to guide anyone in need. I just pray to Moon Goddess that Sheila doesn't show up and that she just wants to apologize as I said. I have nothing more to say to her, she cheated on me with multiple guys because she didn't want to be tied down and so she rejected me and I rejected her and that was that. Now I hope she doesn't hold that I'm going to take her back because I already found my second chance to meet and Amber. The Moon Goddess wouldn't have sent Amber to me then.

"I'm all packed." I turn around and look at Amber and what she is wearing.

" Babe, what are you wearing?"

"But, it's just shorts and a crop top."

"Go change now, I don't need to see any of my unmated members seeing her skin just for them to ooo and ah over it" she tries to protest but, has no luck. I soon then see that she is not budging to move to go back and change so, I lift her up over my shoulder and back in the house, we go. Her father comes out of his office and happens to catch what Amber is wearing.

" Amber Nicole Richards, I know that you are not going out of this house dressed like that especially when you are meeting another Alpha and Luna for the first time."

" I told her, but she wouldn't listen so I had to carry her over my shoulder and now I'm taking her back upstairs so that she can go change."

"But, I need to show who that she will think that she is. No one is getting in between me and my man okay, she has another thing coming if she tries anything."

"Still, go change." Her father ordered her too and I sat her down on the ground, as she marches up the stairs. I could tell she's angry, every woman has a walk when they're angry and a walk is fast and Stompy.

About 15 minutes later, she comes downstairs and some skinny jeans and an off-the-shoulder asymmetrical sweater top. And she holds out her arms and does a spin and then says is this better. I don't need any other guy to see what is for my eyes only.

Diamond then comes down the stairs and she does not look happy at all. Something tells me Jen is texting Kevin and Kevin fell for whatever Jen has said. Kevin then comes downstairs and sits at the kitchen table and me being a good future brother-in-law I go over to ask what's wrong.

" What's wrong with Diamond she looked pissed?"

"It's Jen, she texted me and she wants me to go to the ultrasound so that I can see the baby."

"You do know that the baby is not yours right like you cannot make a baby with anybody who is not your mate."

" I know but, she has no one and I feel bad, and besides she needs someone to be there for her and the baby."

" wait, wait, wait, just a few days ago you were saying how this baby couldn't be yours and how you didn't want anything to do with the baby, now you are all for the baby and helping her because she has no one? Have you talked to Diamond about this, how does she feel, she must feel hurt because you are talking to a woman who is not your mate who is not her, and who is not carrying one of your pups. Imagine how she feels right now. I was in her shoes 4 years ago oh, I had a mate who was constantly cheating on me she ignored the mate bond that the Moon Goddess had placed upon me and her. I tried to understand what she was coming from, I tried to help her stay faithful and loyal by treating her with so much kindness and affection but, after a while it wasn't enough. She chose the other guys rather than me, she wanted to be free and so she rejected me and I rejected her and therefore the mate bond was broken. It hurt me to my core that my mate, my own mate didn't want me but, now things are different. So, you have a choice to make. You need to either stick with your mate or reject your mate and go along with your ex-girlfriend and her baby that is not yours. Oh yeah, and you would forfeit your title basically making Diamond the alpha female because Amber will be my Luna. You do know the Elder Council will make this happen if you do choose to reject Diamond a second time, you know the rule which rarely happens because all of the Alphas and future Alphas choose their mate you are the only one who wants to go outside the grain. You need to fix this and most of all you need to listen to your heart and your wolf, don't listen to anyone else. You might feel pity because Jen doesn't have anyone and she's all alone but, that's her choice it's not your fault. Your main concern should be about how Diamond feels and right now she feels hurt, she feels betrayed, and she feels depressed."

"So, what should I do?"

" First, go talk to Diamond and explain what you're feeling and ask her how she is feeling. Have you ever asked her how she feels about all of this, I know she's hurt, I was when my mate chose someone else over me but, I had to follow my heart and even though I wanted to be with her and she didn't want to be with me I had to make a choice. But, with you, you have a mate who wants to be with you and you just pushed her aside."

"There's something I haven't told you oh, there's something I haven't told anyone. Then promise me that if I was to date her again and take care of her baby that she would tell the Rogues not to attack the realm anymore.
