The Rare and Rejected Mate Chapter 14

Hours before the rescue, Amber's P.O.V.

It's been a week I think since I've been here. Already I have seen one girl get murdered, two girls get beaten by whips and hot coals and the rest of the girls are too scared to move or do anything that may upset our kidnappers but, not for me, I gotta figure how to get us out of here. I go up to the door and put my ear near so that I can feel what's going on.

"Stop everything we have been found out."

"Stop with The Dramatics, it's impossible, no one has been able to find this so far so what makes you think they found us now?"

"Apparently one of the girls that we kidnapped has a tracker on them."

"That's impossible, we have every single one of their belongings locked up and we destroyed most of it, so how would they have a tracker."

"Unless one of the girls has it in their earrings."

I then hear footsteps coming towards the door, realizing that I have earrings on I should take them off and I hide them in my back pocket hoping that they won't find out. I searched my earrings real friend act like searching for the tracker hoping to take it out and leave it somewhere. I see a jewel that's on the end of my earring and I pop it out and find a small tracker hidden behind it. These are the earrings that Deon gave us for our 100 anniversary, but wait since I have a Tracker that means it won't be long until they come for me.

The door soon opens and I hide behind one of the corners in the bathroom hoping that they do not text me cuz if they do oh, the rest of my time here it's going to be a nightmare. They punch a wall and that makes all of the girls jump up in fear and stand straight in front of their mattresses, almost like we are at an army boot camp. Last night while I was asleep oh, well I tried to sleep, I came up with a plan to escape if my Father and Deon don't find me soon.

"Someone in here has a Tracker, someone has given away our secret hideout and that messes with our plan."

"Long story short, someone has to pay, and that someone is the girl with the earrings."

I immediately hear footsteps coming towards the door of the bathrooms, as I start to panic I end up dropping the tracker on the floor and I kick it underneath one of the toilets with the hole underneath in the floorboards. I am not scared but, the other girls, seem terrified. They punch the door in and look through every stall, ai block the door with my legs and soon realize that's a bad idea. There's about four of five of them out there, I don't hear Jens voice, maybe she didn't come in or maybe she's planning to stop Deon and my Father from finding us, either way, something bad is about to happen and I don't want to be here for it. Just then one of the guys shifts into his wolf and sniffs me out and they find me.

"You really thought you could hide from us, when we're the ones who kidnapped you, now, where is the tracker?"

"What do you mean, what tracker?"

"Don't play dumb with us, we know you have one." Jen then comes into the bathroom.

"She does, her mate planted one in the earrings she has on. SEARCH HER!"

They searched me and then they dragged me out of the bathroom to the main room where the girls are and they'd throw some punches at me, but I can take them I've been hit so many times that it feels like a pinch to me. So my face is battered and beaten and all bloodied, most of the girls look terrified wow a few of them are just snickering and glad that it's not them. Just as Jen gets ready to punch me Shipman's down and Whispers in my ear, I know that she's been waiting for this day to where she can hit me and not have any consequences. At this point I care she means nothing to me and besides, I know my family and they will love to just see her and she will get what she deserves. But I wasn't expecting what she whispered in my ear next.

"Why aren't you happy Amber, we're going to be family, you see I'm pregnant with Kevin's baby. We are going to be one big happy family me Kevin and the baby and I will become Luna and soon the whole world will be overturned and free there will be no Alphas or Lunas are bettas, Delta's, or gammas. Everyone will be able to do what they please it's almost like a 24/7 Purge but, every day for the rest of their lives."

I knew Kevin should have never gotten with this chick, she is crazy. I bet this baby isn't even his, my brother really knows how to choose them. But all that aside I'm glad that he decided to be with diamond but wait how to did she get.......pregnant?

She must not know you can only get pregnant by your mate, it's not possible for you to get pregnant by anyone else. Unless she found her mate and then try to pin it on my brother. That little heifer, she is not going to get away with this, but I'll let her keep thinking that she's pregnant with my brother's baby and then I'll burst your bubble when the time is right. I just felt bad for her mate, I hope he knows what he's getting himself into.

" Oh, you can't speak oh, oh wait that's right your mouth is swollen."

Punch after punch comes to my face and I try so hard to keep Consciousness because if I black out who knows how long I have before they kill me but, I am determined to get out of here to get all of us girls out of here. And when I do get out Jen and her goons will pay oh, none of us deserve this. But I am surprised that Jen was able to round up a bunch of Rogues and convince them to work together oh, so I have to give her credit for that.

Soon as I hear from one of the other robe that is outside of the warehouse that a fire has started and two of the guys go outside and see what's going on while the others turned back to tie us up again, just like they did the first time they brought us here.

When I come back into the room the girls are just horrified but, like I said some of them are just glad that it's not them and that it's me. Over these past few weeks of me being in here with these girls I have learned that basically, I am the strongest one in here. Not only mentally but physically and emotionally too, unlike the other girls who have cried their whole time while being here, I have been trying to figure out a way to get out and to possibly find a way to get Justice for the girls who have been murdered.

We all get tied up and then the two guys who were outside of the warehouse come in with duffle bags and they all tell us that it's time for them to go and that we aren't coming with them, we're going to die here. I knew there were up to something but at least I won't have to deal with Jen's annoying voice and we can figure out a way out of here before this whole place burns down I can feel and smell the fire getting closer and closer to us as the last guy leaves the warehouse and shuts the door behind him, luckily they did not find the earring that I was hiding in my back pocket as they searched me and it has a sharp edge to where I could cut the zip ties of where they tied us up. As soon as I do I run towards the door and find out that they put a chain on the outside of it so that we wouldn't be able to escape.

I run back and untied the other girls, and we each find a weapon or a piece of floor to where we can break open the door and hopefully be able to escape before this fire either kill us or............ kill us.

"Ames, Ames, we're here, we're going to get you out. Stay with us please." I hear D's voice, and Deon, I knew that they would come. I just need to stay awake long enough for them to find us.

"We're in here, help us please. This fire is getting more and more fierce, I don't know how much I can last. 5 of the girls are with me, two of them are being pinned down buy some wood from the ceiling." Just then we hear a loud bang and we turn around and half of the roof has collapsed pinning two of the girls legs underneath.

"STAND BACK!!!!" Deon yells as he begins to bang against the door.

Finally, after a few bangs the door opens and I'm run to him but before I can reach him I black out the last thing I remember is him with open arms and the look on his face of relief that I'm alive.
