It was quite comical, watching Jack and Eli sprint up the stairs, after I told them where the girls were. It is great seeing those two mated. I had a blast with Mei and Riley, while they were gone at the Alpha Summit.

I wonder what happened to make them leave a day early. We will find out soon enough, right now they are enjoying themselves.

A deep husky voice echoed around me hauntily.

“I come in peace, but I need to speak with Alpha Jack immediately.” The male voice stated.

A tall redheaded man stepped out from behind the shadowy trees.

His stone hard jawline, soft rounded nose with pink plush lips. My breath caught in my throat when I made eye contact, one green and one amber colored.

“MATE!” Akai howled. I froze, he doesn’t smell like a rogue, but he is a stranger, and is the same scent that was on Jack.

“May I ask who is asking permission?” I asked watching him stop right at the boundary marker.

“Tell Alpha Jack, Max has requested a private meeting.” He said huskily, a low grumbling coming from his chest.

“Jack?” I linked. Waited a few seconds.

“This better be a damn emergency!” He replied sounding groggy.

“Yeah, it is. A Max is here, asking for a private meeting with you.” I linked.

“Where are you now?” Jack asked.

“North border.” I replied.

“Bring him straight here.” Jack replied.

“You are in luck Max. Alpha Jack has allowed your request. You may enter and follow me to the house.” I said, watching him take a step forward, the moonlight exposing his tattooed chest, full arm sleeves and neck tat, accented with piercings of all kinds.

“Fuck, he is a tattooed, pierced God.” Akai purred.

“Who are you?” He asked walking up to me, staring at me with those two-toned eyes. Goosebumps danced across my skin taking in his scent.

“Gamma Seth Whitetail.” I stated keeping eye contact. He is a hybrid, wolf-bear, but his wolf is prominent. His eyes grew needy, lustful.

“Hmmm, mint and almond, it smells delicious.” Max purred sniffing the air.

Holy Fuck! I felt my heart rate increase; then he had me pinned against the tree, those pink plush lips crashing into mine. His pierced nipples rubbing against my chest. Damn. I would like to enjoy this, but Jack is waiting for us.

“Um, as much as I would like to continue this, Alpha Jack is not a patient man, and I did have to wake him up after he had a very eventful evening with his mate.” I grinned evilly licking his lips.

“Understandable, Mei is a fierce mate.” Max hummed against my lips.

“Wait! How do you know Mei? Are you the ‘Max’ from the facility?” I asked placing my hand on his chest. A low grumbling moan vibrated against my palm.

Oh, if I had a vagina, I would be gushing all over.

“The one and the same.” He hummed darkly licking my ear. Damn this man.

“Come on; let’s get you to that meeting then we’ll go from there.” Smacking my lips in a kissy gesture, shifting into my wolf as he shifted into a large brown wolf with the same eyes.

We arrived at the house, shifting, pulling on shorts, and making our way to Jack’s office. Before I could knock, he yelled ‘Enter’. He sat in his oversized brown leather chair, pouring three glasses of whiskey, motioning to the chair in front of his desk.

“Whiskey I presume?” Max asked accepting the glass.

“Yes, because it seems that Raven does not know you are here.” Jack voiced looking at me raising an eyebrow.

“You’re correct. Raven doesn’t follow my activities. I’m more of a night person, so he lets me do whatever as long as I’m ready at his call.” Max replied sipping his whiskey.

“So, what brings you here? I got your letter.” Jack countered holding up an envelope. So, that’s what I smelled.

“Raven wasn’t happy with the results earlier today.” Max confirmed raising his glass to Jack, saluting him.

“I actually came here, because of Mei. I protected her in that place that is why I was sold to Raven. I had a gut feeling Titan was up to something.” Max studied Jack and me.

“Your gut was correct. After he sold you off, he raped Mei, but her wolf awoke and beat the shit out of him before they drugged her.” Jack stared at Max, studying his body language as he tensed up, balling his fists. Placing my hand on his shoulder, relaxing as he took in a deep breath.

“Interesting.” Jack hummed against the rim of his glass, looking at us.

“So, what do you seek from Demon Wolf?” Jack asked raising a brow.

“I came to warn you, Raven is planning an attack to take Mei back. He believes he has claim to her and placed a bounty on her.” Max said looking at me with sadness in his eyes.

“In return, what do you want?” Jack asked. Looking between us, sharing looks of desire.

“Well, at first it was just a friendly information swap. I did my research on you and your ‘business’. I’m exceptionally skilled with computers and technology.” Max spoke boldly with a sexy smile. I think I melted.

“Then I met my mate, not thinking it was possible.” Max grabbed my hand. The sparks blowing my mind.

“Jack, it’s four in the morning, what is going on?” Mei asked yawning, walking into the office. Max tensed at her voice.

Mei stopped dead in her tracks, snapping her head at us. Staring at Max, her eyes grew large, jumping into his arms.

“What the fuck are you doing here? I thought I would never see you again after Titan sold you off.” Mei rambled. She was extremely excited.

“Well, that’s why I’m here to ask Alpha Jack for protection. I’m technically a rogue because I have no clan. I was taken from my family, after they set fire and killed everyone off.” Max expressed with a sadness in his eyes.

Mei walked over to Jack, sitting in his lap.

“My question is can we trust you and that Raven didn’t send you here as a spy?” Jack asked wrapping his arm around Mei’s waist.

“No, he bought me! I handled his security details and dirty business, but I always thought about Mei. Her wolf is special. I knew it before she even awoke. She would enter my dreams and share information with me.” Max exhaled heavily gripping my hand.

“Who entered your dreams?” Jack asked holding Mei closer to his chest.

“I believe she said her name was ‘Kyou’, her wolf.” Max said looking at Mei, who about fell over.

“We knew something was special about her, because we have had a few dream episodes ourselves.” Jack expressed laughing, kissing Mei’s forehead.

“Yes, that’s one of the powers of the ‘Spirit Wolf’, she can dream travel.” Max said. Watching Mei’s shocked expression.

“Kyou said we can trust him. She just read his thoughts and memories.” Mei groaned rubbing her head.

“Wait! Kyou just read my thoughts without me knowing it?” Max looked shocked.

“Yeah, and she said you better mark and mate Seth, like right now.” Mei laughed watching Max turn red.

“Well, that settles that! Max if you accept, I can blood oath you right now.” Jack chuckled lowly reaching in his drawer for the ceremony knife.

Max nodded his head as Jack walked around his desk holding Mei’s hand. Max knelt in front of Jack taking the Demon Wolf Clan blood oath, with the sharing of blood, he was now part of the clan.

“Now, you two go and enjoy. While I get back to my mate.” Jack snarled lowly lifting her up and setting her down on the desk.

Max and I didn’t waste time vacating the office and making sure the lock was engaged, before closing it. Sure enough, loud screams and moans could be heard down the hallway. We just hastened our speed, making it to my room, ‘our’ room, now.

“Now, where did we leave off?” Max growled wildly pinning me against the door, capturing my lips in his.

A deep growl rumbled against my chest as he tossed me onto the bed.

Dropping his shorts, revealing his huge cock that had a ‘Jacob’s Ladder’, as my mouth dropped open at the sight of his masterpiece.
