Fighting Spirit Series Chapter 56: Betrayal

**Jack:**

Her hormones are no joke; we went from fucking passionately to raging pissed in a matter of seconds. When she asked where Dean was, I knew that she saw my memories.

Brutus and Goki were alarmed but agreed it was time to handle his betrayal.

“You did tell him that you were going to let Mei handle his punishment.” Goki laughed flashing his teeth.

“You better have backup.” Brutus laughed deeply, his blue eyes flashing black.

“Eli.” I linked, after pushing the crazed wolves back.

“Yeah?” He replied chipper.

“Gather everyone in the dining room. Mei knows about Dean.” I replied watching Mei get dressed.

“Right. Do you want Desmond here?” Eli asked.

“Might as well.” I replied, heading down the stairs with Mei.

“Okay. We are waiting.” Eli said shutting the link down.

The dining room was lively as always; instead of it being just Seth, Eli, and me, now we have Desmond, Dominic, Izzy, Riley, Milly, Lexi, Max, and Mei.

“The family is growing.” Goki laughed at the extended list.

“YEAH. YEAH.” I laughed back, taking my seat while Mei greeted everyone. Seeing how happy she is being here, the news of the twins, family she thought she would never see again.

“Damn Mei!” Lexi yelled rubbing the back of his head.

“That’s what you get for calling her ‘fat’.” Milly laughed giving Mei a hug.

“I didn’t say ‘fat’ I said bigger.” Lexi ducked waiting for another smack across the head.

Mei instead gave him a hug, whispering something in his ear. Lexi snapped his head looking at her mortified. She turned walking over to her seat triumphant in her battle with Lexi.

“What did you say to him?” I linked, watching her eat her bacon, smiling evilly.

“Oh, let’s just say ‘castration’.” She laughed shoving another piece of bacon in her mouth.

It took everything in me not to choke on my coffee laughing. We ate laughing and carrying on about small things.

Mei stood up heading out the dining room and we knew exactly where she was heading. We all grabbed our stuff and followed behind, letting her focus herself.

“Morning Mei.” Rocko greeted her at the entrance of the Barn.

Turning to head towards the elevator, Mei continued walking as soon as the elevator door opened, throwing her hand up for the keys.

Eli tossed them to her, not looking back. We exited the elevator seeing Mei approach Jaxon and Braxton standing outside the door, nodding their heads. She patted both of them on the shoulder before entering. Mei was sitting Indian style on the floor, staring down Dean; chained to the wall restraints, beaten and bloody.

“I didn’t know.” He wheezed looking at her with sad eyes.

“Would it have made a difference?” Mei asked coldly.

Everyone stood silently as we watched her calmly stare at Dean.

“Or were you so dead set to avenge your father before knowing the truth?” She asked with a sharp click of her tongue.

“Or was it that you were in too deep with Titan?” She asked standing up slowly. Pacing slowly with her hands tucked behind her back.

“How?” Dean whispered. Mei slammed her fist into his stomach causing him to vomit a white foamy substance.

“I trusted in you, your Alpha trusted you, this clan trusted you.” She spat pointing her finger around the room and the air above her head. She leaned forward whispering in his ear, his head snapped up looking at her with large eyes.

“Jaxon! Braxton!” Mei called out, watching Dean closely.

“Yes Mei.” They both responded stopping next to me.

“Alpha.” They nodded watching Mei slap Dean’s cheek mockingly.

“Remove his restraints and follow me.” Mei walked out the room heading towards the elevator.

Jaxon and Braxton looked to me for assurance, nodding my head watching closely. Everyone filed out into the hallway following behind, making sure Dean did not get any ideas. Mei was already on the ground floor when we exited into the Barn.

All the warriors and Elites were present, watching Jaxon and Braxton lead Dean into the center of the Barn. Mei paced around slowly watching everyone, her eyes showed intense rage, sadness, and hurt.

“FORM!” She boomed. Everyone circled around her and Dean like they would do in training.

“Seeing that Dean felt it was right to betray me, your Alpha, your clan, YOUR BROTHERHOOD; it is fitting that his punishment should not be handled by just me but by his once loyal brothers. It hurts me to know that revenge without the facts, the TRUTH, not only endangered my pups, but my family. This family, all of you, your mates, your pups, are my family.” Mei boomed pointing at everyone, flashing me a smile with bright eyes.

Growls and snarls erupted from the crowd. Mei placed her hand up in the air, silencing them.

“Let this be a reminder that betrayal is not taken lightly. Especially when you decide to work for the very monsters that have destroyed so many families, clans, and children.” Mei stopped pacing, removing her clothes, exposing her naked, scar riddled body.

Gasps and snarls as they saw the scars of her treatment.

“These are my battle scars that remind me of the lost family, lost memories, innocent lives that fell at the hands of Titan, Raven, and Victor. This has been going on for far too long and I am going to do everything in my power to make sure our families, pups, can live without having to constantly look over their shoulders for the next Titan, Raven or Victor.” Mei stood proudly in front of us, displaying her scars. Howls filled the air of the Barn as she stood as their Luna.

“Fucking gorgeous.” Brutus howled with Goki.

“Dean look at me. Look at what you chose over family, brotherhood.” Mei said walking slowly up to him as his eyes trailed over her naked body exposing the years of torture.

Dean’s eyes narrowed then fell to her bump.

“Now, I ask you again. Was it worth this?” She said pointing to her scars.

Dean refused to answer, knowing nothing he said would change the fact he was a traitor, placing his Luna and her pups in danger. Mei walked up to him placing her hand on his shoulder.

“I can forgive you but they cannot.” Mei walked away sliding on a shirt that Rocko tossed to her. Jaxon and Braxton walked into the center, landing the first blows to his ribs and stomach, then the warriors and Elites closed in around them.

“I, Luna Mei Moonstone of Demon Wolf deem punishment in accordance with law, death by clan. For the crime of treason against the Demon Wolf Clan, their Luna and her unborn pups.” Mei boomed from the second floor.

“All that favor this decision, say ‘I’.” She stated watching with narrowed eyes.

“I”. Boomed through the walls as growls and snarls erupted.
