“Is it that fucking difficult to get that mutt by herself?” I hissed pacing around the frozen tundra of what was once a grand castle.

“My liege, you know just as much as I do that as long as she is with her mate, connecting to her is close to impossible.” Aeros huffed bowing his head respectfully.

“Fine. Then I will play with her until she breaks.” I laughed thinking of the different scenarios that could be used against her.

“What about the pups?” Aeros asked raising a brow with a sinister smirk.

“That was definitely a very unexpected surprise. However, this works well in my favor because now I can use the pups to my advantage.” I laughed deeply feeling the vibrating echo through the frozen castle.

“What I do not understand is how there are three more lycans? We knew Mei was a descendant but how in the fuck did three more appear?” I hissed thinking about those magnificent creatures standing in that fighting cage.

“Mei was an only child, Jack and Eli’s mother cursed the Demon Wolf Clan.” Aeros stated pointing his finger at files on the long hickory wood table.

“Well, it looks like dear ‘old mummies’ curse was unsealed and for Mei being an only child, not quite sure about that.” I laughed thinking about the unexpected surprises.

“Keep digging with your underground connections and I will continue my assault mentally.” I laughed leaning back in the large hand carved chair of the first Wolf King.

Closing my eyes imagining the day I take the throne from my dear nephew and Jack’s birthright. I will be in control of both kingdoms. Unstoppable!

**Mei: **

Feeling energized after passionate love making with Jack, even though in dream state I could feel the spiritual connection surge through both of us.

“You need to hurry up and wake-up, so we can have our time.” Moon laughed walking around the bed slowly. Kyou shaking her head laughing.

“Deal. I will give you both a night with your mates.” I laughed sitting up stretching my body.

I could hear distant voices talking, focusing in on the distorted sounds hearing Jack’s familiar deep husky voice and the other sounding like Izzy. Listening closer to the voices.

“So, what you’re saying is Riley and Milly are going to become lycans because they’re mated to lycans. Seth is going to turn because he is my Gamma and Max will gain the strength, speed, and a few unknown lycan traits.” Jack shockingly laughed.

“Yes, but only your ranked members, until the next generation is born. Seeing how Seth and Max cannot physically carry a child, unless they involve a female, then the Gamma will go to the second born of the Alpha when said Gamma retires, unless another Gamma family is chosen.” Izzy stated sounding as if she was flipping through a book.

“Wait! What about Roger, Seth’s younger brother?” Jack asked sounding nervous.

“I did not know Roger was his brother. Shit! How old is he?” Izzy asked sounding panicked.

“He turns sixteen...” pause in Jack’s reply.

“TODAY!” Jack, Eli, Lexi, Dominic, and Desmond shouted. Loud footsteps and cursing echoed in the room as it sounded like a stampede.

Snapping my head towards Moon and Kyou as they both stopped pacing around the bed.

“What the hell is going on?” I asked looking at Moon and Kyou, standing up in the bed looking sternly at them both.

“Mei you are learning too much too fast, you need to calm down.” Kyou said nervously looking at Moon.

“NO! YOU TELL ME NOW!” I boomed as the dream atmosphere shook and shuttered under my voice. Moon and Kyou bowed their heads smiling.

“Jack is the next Wolf King, making you his Queen Luna, but you are also the Spirit Wolf meaning the rebirth of the lycans.” Moon proudly stated.

“What does this have to do with Roger?” I shouted annoyed, pacing unevenly on the bed.

“The Beta and Gamma ranks become lycan carrying on the lycan bloodline in that family, meaning siblings too. Roger is turning sixteen which is when your wolf awakens, seeing now lycanthropy is involved, Roger will shift twice tonight.” Moon laughed annoyed rolling her eyes.

“IS IT DANGEROUS?” I growled deeply jumping down off the bed, watching as cracks appeared under my feet.

“Yes, not only to Seth, but the clan too.” Kyou whimpered bowing her head.

I could feel fear, anger, sadness, intense worry as I paced around the dream space. Slowly, cracks snaked up and around the dream image, shattering to blackness as I stared at Moon and Kyou. Intense energy pulsating deep inside my body as heat coursed through my veins.

A bright silvery glow erupted from my body as if I had spontaneously combusted.

“Mei, calm down and wake-up.” Moon growled as she stepped back with Kyou.

“I have to help Roger! I need to wake-up.” I paced running my hands through my hair.

Taking a deep breath, exhaling, listening to the darkness hum under the pulsing of energy. Come on Mei, we need to wake-up.

“WAKE-UP!” I boomed feeling the pulsating energy flow from my body in strong waves.

Moon and Kyou howling as my eyes shot open to the blinding bayou sunset, quickly jumping out of bed shaking my body loose of sleep. Closing my eyes searching for Roger.

“THE CLINIC!” I shouted feeling my shift into Moon and Kyou. Moon was now a light silver color with a black streak down her forehead, Kyou.

Stalking over to the terrace releasing a loud dominating roar howl, jumping over the railing landing five stories below on the south lawn. The ground vibrating under the sheer force of impact. Moon let out another howl before taking off towards the Clinic.

Loud howling and growling erupted in the distance towards the Clinic.

“Roger!” I shouted feeling Moon push her legs harder into the ground picking up speed.

Breaking past the tree line, jumping over the crowd of Elites and warriors, landing in front of Jack, Eli, Lexi, and Max.

“MEI!” They shouted excitedly.

Releasing another loud howl as everyone bowed, kneeling to the ground.

Eli, Lexi, and Max stood wide-eyed; mouth agape while Jack shifted into Brutus howling with us.
