Fighting Spirit Series Chapter 86: Royal Elders

**Jack:**

“Jack?” Eli linked. Soft knocking on our door.

“What?” I asked annoyed as I rolled over gently.

“The Royal Elders are here. I am outside your room.” Eli replied in a whispered tone.

“Okay. Give me five minutes.” I replied as I walked into the bathroom, cleaning up quickly, brushing my teeth.

Walking out quietly as I opened the door, finding Eli holding the twins cooing them, smiling like a goofy uncle.

“These two just woke-up, so I went ahead and changed them. Riley is warming up some goodness for them as we speak. Yep. Good old breakfast of Champs.” Eli cooed talking to them as I scooped Micah from his arms, walking down the hallway with a lightness in our steps.

“Mom would be hogging them all to herself if she was here.” I laughed lightly thinking about how life would have been if she had not passed.

“You know damn well she would monopolize these two.” Eli laughed as we walked into my office greeted by Seth, Max, Lexi, and Xander, who I put in charge of the border patrol units.

“Good Morning Alpha.” They all greeted as they started passing Nikola and Micah around, cooing at them.

Laughing silently, shaking my head as I walked around my desk, sliding into the brown leather chair.

“Don’t forget our deal.” Brutus laughed as I mentally faced palmed.

“Yeah, I know. This week is mine. Then we will draw for next week.” I laughed as they both did this weird dance.

“Okay. Explain to me what the Elders want.” I asked as a knock sounded, Riley popping her head in smiling, holding up bottles, wiggling them happily in her hands.

“Okay, who gets the honors?” She laughed as Xander and Max reached for the bottles.

“You know, whoever feeds them is also responsible for diaper change and making sure they are burped well.” I leaned back watching the guys smile as the boys dug in hungrily, clenching the bottles with their little hands.

“Got it covered Alpha.” Max winked like a smartass, Xander smiled brightly watching Micah suck down his bottle.

“The Elders?’ I asked lacing my fingers together watching as Lexi smiled darkly.

“Formalities mostly. Now that the Wolf King and Queen Luna have been found.” Lexi laughed as he watched Xander do this technique holding Micah, burping him. A loud burp echoed through the room as Nikola followed behind with his own chesty burp.

“Morning Demon Wolf.” Desmond shouted as he sauntered in with Dominic. Smiling ear-to-ear.

“Oh, look who we have here.” Desmond smiled as he took Nikola from Max, cradling him perfectly in his arms as he walked around the room smiling.

“Starting them early.” Dominic laughed as he took Micah from Xander, following suit holding him gently, swaying gently back and forth on his feet.

“Mei needs to rest and I was enjoying my sleep too.” I rolled my eyes playfully at Eli wiggling his brows.

“How long did it take to start on the next round of pups?” Eli laughed in link.

“You worry about your own pup.” I replied raising my brow at him.

“The Elders will be back later today, seeing they understand we just got back, what, twelve hours ago and with newborn pups.” Seth stated holding his hand up playfully.

“Holy Shit! What is that smell?” Brutus growled scrunching up his nose.

“Max, diaper change is due.” Desmond laughed handing Nikola over to Max clapping his hands together, wiggling his fingers like he was a pro-diaper changer.

“If I’m not back in five, send the hazmat team.” Max smiled brightly walking out the office laughing with Nikola cooing at him.

“Did they give a time?” I asked watching Dominic scrunch his nose up, bending down slightly pulling back swiftly. We all erupted into laughter as he handed Micah over to Xander.

“They said about five.” Xander laughed as he walked out wiggling his finger at Micah.

“Alright. Gives us time to get ready. I’m going to go check on those two, then wake-up Mei.” I laughed as I stood up walking around my desk, smiling.

“Don’t forget Derek and Damian are calling in two hours.” Lexi looked up over his laptop screen. I nodded as I exited the office.

Mei:

Stretching after sleeping peacefully, my breasts aching, swollen. I’ll go check on the boys, hopefully relieve some of this aching and get something to eat. Hearing faint voices as I rolled over sliding out of the bed.

“OH FUCK! That is wicked.” Max exclaimed loudly as it sounded like he was shuffling around.

“Hah. Young man let the pro show you how it is done.” Xander’s voice echoed shuffling around.

What the hell is going on?

Dressing quickly in some shorts and t-shirt, heading down the hall towards the opened door with loud gasping and gagging. Leaning against the doorframe taking in the nursery that the girls put together, watching as Max and Xander wrangled the twins diaper changes. Max was hilarious watching Xander change Micah’s diaper swiftly like the pro he said he was.

“What are you two doing?” I asked laughing as I walked into the nursery.

“Morning Mei.” Max and Xander smiled as they picked up the twins smiling.

“Look who it is, Mommy.” Xander cooed as he waved Micah’s little arm gently while Max held up Nikola, pointing whispering something to him.

“Don’t corrupt my sons.” Sternly pointing at Max wiggle his brow sarcastically.

“Just changing their butts after their breakfast.” Max said tickling Nikola’s chin as he handed him over to me.

“They already ate? Why didn’t you wake me?” I asked holding Micah’s finger while Xander smiled brightly at us.

“Jack and Eli brought them to the office to talk about the Royal Elders meeting today.” Xander grinned making goofy faces at Nikola in his arms as his bright blue eyes scanned the room.

“The Royal Elders?” I asked raising a brow questionably.

“Yea. Now that the next Wolf King and Queen Luna have appeared, talks about taking over the throne and formalities need to be discussed.” Xander stated as he bounced gently, watching as Micah’s eyes closed slowly.

“Meaning?” I asked because this was all new to me.

“Moving to the Royal Palace. Coronation ceremony. Stuff like that.” Max watched as my smile shifted into a scowl. Max took a sleeping Nikola from my arms as I turned on my heel steaming.

Like Hell, I was moving from Demon Wolf. This is my home. Our home! Walking out of the nursery seeing JR exiting the office smiling and laughing.

“JR!” I linked as his golden eyes snapped to mine as his smiling face turned concerned.

“Mei, what’s wrong? The boys?” He asked as he approached me.

“NO! What is this about moving to the Royal Palace, in who the fuck knows where, and Coronation ceremonies? I’m not moving from Demon wolf, this is where we belong, our home; our family.” I growled waving my hands around seething as the thoughts flooded me all at once.

JR rubbed my arms gently smiling at me with those golden eyes and sexy smile.
