Fighting Spirit Series Chapter 80: Something is Wrong
**Mei:**
Knowing JR and the others are on their way gave me a sense of relief as the next surge of pain ripped through my uterus.
“AEROS!” Amelia screamed in a panicky voice.
Listening for anything from the shadows.
“What?” He asked pissed stalking into the room scanning the scene unfolding in front of him.
Amelia sliced her palm earlier, smearing the blood all over the ground under my ass making it look like I was having complications.
“We need to get her to a proper room.” Amelia stated holding her hand out showing him the bloodstained floor.
“It’s part of childbirth.” He scoffed rolling his eyes annoyed.
This bastard is something else for sure, as I felt the next surge of pain rip through my body causing me to scream louder than before, shaking the walls of the room. Aeros scanned the room as his eyes flashed something dark, cold, disgusting thoughts flashed through my mind of him sexually abusing me.
Is that all he cares about?
“If you want a warm body, then I suggest you listen to her.” I shouted as the surge of pain felt like my uterus was being clawed out. Aeros shot me a look of amusement.
“What would Victor think if he found out you let his chance at power slip through his fingers?” Amelia glared him down with a murderous stare.
“Fine.” He puffed as he walked to the cell door; two hybrids appeared from the shadows entering the cell with Aeros.
“Do anything funny and Red here dies.” Aeros hissed as he took a deep breath in along Amelia’s neck, flashing his red stained teeth as his grip around her neck tightened.
We both nodded as the hybrids lifted me up as a powerful bone-breaking surge of pain ripped through my body. Loud screaming hisses echoed the room as my claws dug into the hybrids shoulders.
Aeros led us down an ice-covered hallway into a room with a cot and lanterns. At least I was off the freezing ground.
“OH FUCK!” I roared as I dropped to my knees clenching my stomach. Amelia breaking free of Aeros’ grip grabbing my arms to lead me onto the cot.
“Anything else?” Aeros asked as he watched silently as Amelia looked over her shoulder with a raised eyebrow.
“Just the same as earlier. Thank you.” She said with a sharp tinge to her tone.
Watching as the two hybrids left the room, returning quickly with fresh linens and hot water. Amelia scrubbed her hands, before pressing gently down on my stomach, sliding her finger in to check progress.
“Do you have any clear alcohol around?” Amelia asked Aeros as she positioned my legs draped with a blanket.
“To your right in the box.” Aeros said pointing to the right of Amelia.
“Now is not the time for drinking.” I linked feeling the need to push.
“I need to sterilize my hands; his head is crowning.” Amelia said looking up to me huffing out a hard breath.
“Next contraction, push hard.” Amelia said positioning herself between my legs. Contractions! This is the pain I have been feeling. Fuck me!
“That’s how you ended up like this.” Moon laughed trying to calm us a little.
“Now is not the time.” I huffed as the next surge of pain ripped through my body. Pushing down like Amelia told me, trying to breathe.
“Good. One more Mei.” She shouted under the blanket as I pushed with the next contraction. Loud gasp then loud ear-piercing screaming as Amelia held up the first baby boy. Placing him down on my stomach, cleaning him off with a washcloth then quickly wrapping him up in a sheet.
“Nikola.” I whispered as another contraction shot through me but something felt different.
“Amelia something feels wrong.” I said holding Nikola close to my chest, seeing his dark locks like his father.
“Shit! Micah is breach.” Amelia hissed as she slid her hand in while pushing down on my stomach. Intense pain gripping my body as Nikola squirmed gently in my hold.
“I’m trying to shift him.” Amelia huffed as she pushed down harder, feeling a strange pushing, then Amelia dropped back down.
“Push MEI!” She screamed as I slid Nikola to my side as I pushed with the contraction that felt like my uterus exploded. Silence…
“Amelia?” I asked looking down past my legs as she was kneeling over the baby boy rubbing his chest with her knuckle.
Deep panic gripped my chest as I watched her rub vigorously. Aeros stood silently smirking watching as Amelia worked to get Micah to cry.
“Come on little guy.” Amelia whispered as loud howling growls vibrated the hallway.
Aeros turning hot on his heel, flash stepping out the room. Amelia looked up smiling as loud crying echoed from Micah’s strong little lungs. A sense of relief washed over me as my head fell backwards against the cot. Amelia handed me Micah as she readied the hot water, delivering my placenta as she cleaned me up.
“You did great Mei.” Amelia exhaled as footsteps approached the room.
Amelia grabbed the closest thing as a weapon, which happened to be some kind of iron pipe. She slid into the corner hiding out of view as I sat up bracing the twins against my chest. Loud Russian voices echoed as they grew closer to the room.
A tall dark tanned man slid to a stop in the doorway, catching my gaze then dropping to the twins, then back to me. Smiling brightly as he shouted in Russian. Stepping into the room, being met with the pipe across his head by Amelia.
“DAMN WOMAN!” The guy shouted as he rubbed his head holding up his hands in peace.
“We’re with Alpha Jack.” He said with a heavy Russian accent, huffing out an annoyed breath.
Amelia jumped into his arms as a loud roaring echoed through the hallway as gun shots sounded loudly. The guy pulled back smiling at Amelia.
“I take it you are Amelia?” He asked as her eyes grew large looking over to me with a sly smirk.
“Xander told me to tell Red Riding Hood to unleash the beast. Whatever that means.” He laughed staring at Amelia blush then smile with a murderous grin.
“Your Highness. Are you okay?’ He asked me dropping to one knee bowing his head. Please not here too. I silently rolled my eyes.
“Please. Just Mei or M.” I laughed standing up slowly. The guy jumped up waving for me to sit back down.
“We need to get out of here.” I said looking around the room with no windows. Nikola and Micah squirmed whimpering.
“They’re hungry.” Kyou cooed with Moon purring.
“Follow me. Stay close.” The man said as he grabbed a clean sheet, wrapping it around my chest, securing Nikola and Micah in the make shift sling.
“This will help as we exit.” He laughed turning peeking his head out the door looking both ways before waving for us to follow.
