**Jack:**

“WAIT! Where’s Max?” Mei shouted jumping up tripping over the stool as it fell backwards. Eli and I grabbed her arms to keep her from falling.

“I think him and Seth are in the basement. Why?” I asked turning around in my stool studying her expression.

“Why can’t I link him?” Mei asked looking up with narrowed eyes.

“The basement has a protection barrier around it, so it messes with linking.” I said standing up with Eli, holding my hand out to Mei to follow.

We hung a right out of the kitchen stopping at the service room, pressing a hidden button behind the wolf painting, revealing a secret staircase.

Mei raised an eyebrow smiling brightly.

“See, I said stay long enough and you would find more secrets.” Eli laughed filing in behind Mei as the door slid closed and the auto-step lights activated.

“So, what’s in the basement?” Mei asked placing her hand against the smooth concrete wall, sliding her fingers gently across the surface.

“Lexi needed a secure place to setup his equipment, and also hidden. It’s actually below the actual basement.” Eli said humming lightly.

“After Raven’s warehouse removal, we brought everything back here, so that Lexi, Seth, and Max could transfer the hard drives over to the main servers and scan all the loose files.” Smirking wittily, grabbing the door handle as it clicked opened smelling the heavy aroma of sex.

Max spread eagle on the table, while Seth was hoovering the massive pierced meat stick. Slamming the door quickly, catching Mei laughing darkly as she slammed opened the door.

“Wrap it up, boys.” Mei laughed circling her finger in the air, while Max and Seth scrambled to pull up their pants. Flashing us shit-eating grins.

“Do not say anything about privacy, because this is not the place.” Mei laughed sitting down in a large cushioned chair.

“Oh Max!” Mei said looking at him smiling devilishly.

“Yeah Mei?” Max replied looking curiously at her expression.

“Nice “Jacob’s Ladder”.” Mei hissed leaning forward pointing to Max’s groin. Everyone stopped, snapping looks at Mei laughing sinisterly, leaning back in the chair tucking her legs up under her ass.

“What? I stumbled across piercings one day on the laptop.” Mei laughed crossing her arms casually across her chest.

We all erupted into laughter as Max sat down behind his computer.

“What were you really searching for?” Max laughed looking over the edge of the monitor. The soft glow highlighting his mischievous expression.

“Bondage.” Mei whispered softly coughing into her fist.

“Did she just say bondage?” Eli, Brutus, Goki, Max, and Seth all linked, speaking at the same time.

Quick flashes of red rope, tied, twisted, knotted in a very sexual bondage pose.

OH REALLY! The devils laughing in my head.

“So, what brings you down?” Max asked breaking me out of my bondage daydream. Nodding over to Mei.

“Where’s Lexi?” Mei asked looking around the room. Hearing the door click open.

“Aww, the man of the hour!” Seth laughed rolling his eyes.

“Cut the shit, Seth.” Lexi laughed sitting down at his computer firing up the monitor.

The photo of Victor, Ivan, Adalwolfa, and Adaulfo appeared. Mei cocked her head pointing at the photo.

“Where did you find this?” Mei asked looking at all of us with questioning eyes.

“It was in a file from Raven’s, labeled “Victor Trophies”. I said leaning against the table next to Mei staring at the photo, lost in her memories.

“Raven has been doing this a very long time.” Eli said standing close by, crossing his arms. Soft grumbling growls erupting from everyone.

“Yeah, I know. That is Fuckhead Victor, King Ivan, Adalwolfa and her brother, Adaulfo Arkas.” Mei said leaning back looking at the photo. Lexi spinning around in his chair staring at Mei with narrowed questioning eyes.

“How?” Lexi breathed slowly cocking a questioning brow.

“The memories my dear brother.” Mei said raising a brow back at him smiling, tapping the side of her head.

“I did not catch all of them, but I felt them.” Lexi laughed pinching the bridge of his nose, huffing out a deep stabilizing breath.

“What I need to know is I saw an old castle with a hand-carved throne with a large wolf head at the top. Where is that chair?” Mei asked standing up, pacing back and forth, slowly.

“We do not have anything from Raven’s that is close to that.” Seth retorted looking through multiple computer files, side glancing Max typing like a lunatic.

“Hang on. I remember seeing a file with…. Yes here.” Eli said pulling the file from the large conference table Max was laying on earlier, handing it over to Mei.

“Really, he labeled it “Dog Throne”.” Mei growled deeply opening the file, fingering through the photos and handwritten documents.

Stopping at a black and white photo of a large wooden, hand-carved throne with a large wolf head at the top.

“This right here.” Mei said flipping the photo around between her fingers, wiggling it back and forth.

“The Great Wolf King’s Throne.” Desmond proudly stated ‘poofing’ in front of Mei, gaining a fierce choke-slam to the gray tiled floor, roaring in his face. Quickly grabbing her by the waist, feeling her shaking body calm down in my arms.

“DAMN IT DESMOND!” I screamed pulling Mei into my chest rubbing my hands over her back.

“Hey, you’re okay Baby.” I whispered in her ear feeling her body tremble; then loud laughter erupted from her as she slid out of my arms, walking over to Desmond. Dropping her hands down to her sides, she stopped laughing like a light switch, slamming a hard-right hook into Desmond’s face.

“I almost killed you ASSHOLE!” Mei screamed stalking around the room. Eli, Lexi, and Seth flashing me concerned looks, then we all busted into laughter. Desmond rubbing his cheek, smiling like he got a lollipop.

“You are so a Silverstone.” Desmond laughed hugging Mei kissing her forehead as she batted her hands in his face to get away.

“What I miss? Izzy asked walking into the room with Dominic on her heel.

“Oh, more proof that Mei is truly your niece.” Desmond laughed wiggling his jaw around with his hand. Izzy lifting a brow as Lexi cleared his throat.

“Here.” Lexi said pointing up at the monitor, showing video footage of Desmond getting his ass slammed then punched. Izzy’s eyes grew large as Dominic burst into laughter.

“Yep, so family.” Dominic laughed popping his p.

“Serves you right.” Izzy said pointing her finger at Desmond, scolding him like a little kid.

“Okay back to the chair, where is it?” Mei said flicking her finger at Lexi to bring the photo on screen.

“This throne we are not sure. Last record mentioning anything about it, says it is hidden in the “once loved place of the first King”. “His first true home.” Dominic said pulling out a flash drive handing it over to Lexi.

“A lot of it is in an ancient language that hasn’t been spoken in over a thousand years.” Izzy said pulling out a translation chart of ancient Lycan script.

Lexi pulled up the files with the documents, zooming in on a specific portion.

“What do you see Lexi?’ I asked walking up to see what he was looking at closer.

“I don’t know, but I feel like I have seen this somewhere.” Lexi said sliding over to the back wall of multiple monitors hooked to a main computer. Lexi’s fingers typing like a possessed creature. The screens lit-up simultaneously, scanning multiple documents in a matter of seconds, switching over to another file, repeating the scanning process.

“Just searching all archives on digital files, on multiple networks.” Lexi said spinning around crossing his arms over his chest, flashing Max a large evil smile.

“You mean you are “searching” underground.” Max laughed air quoting “searching”. Lexi dropping a pointer finger down, shaking it gently then placing it over his lips in a “shush” manner.

“What’s so important about the throne, Baby?” I asked placing my hand on the small of her back, feeling her shiver under my touch. The wolves hissing in delight.

“I have a feeling wherever that chair is, Victor is close.” Mei said looking up over her shoulder at me, winking with a hint of desire.

“Mei?” Roger huffed at the door, walking in slowly.

“Roger, what’s wrong?” Mei asked stepping forward, scanning over his body like a protective mother.

“True Luna.” The guys linked.

“I tried linking, but I remembered Seth saying something about the basement. Li is in labor. I figured you’d want to know.” Roger said turning on his heel heading back out of the room. Mei flashing us a quick glance, her eyes lighting up like fireworks.

Izzy ran over clapping her hands, grabbing Mei’s hand ‘poofing’ away. Howling as the wolves cheered for Lui.

“Another happy memory.” Goki and Brutus hummed agreeing.

Closing my eyes, seeing the fireworks erupt in Mei’s eyes when she looked at us at the news. The raw emotion of love, caring, happy, overjoyed my heart, knowing she was making better, happier memories to overwrite the fucked-up memories of her training.

A heavy weight lifted as I thought about her making new memories with us, the clan, her lost family, new family. All three of us were doing mental backflips knowing she has this because she is a fighter.
