**Jack:**

Jolting upright, running my hands over my face with the dream of Mei sucking my cock still lingering behind my groggy eyelids. It felt so real, there’s no way a dream could feel that fucking glorious.

Quickly looking around the room, taking in a deep breath, nothing. Dropping my eyes down to see the towel was pulled away, exposing my erection to the early morning sunrise. Small traces of cum evident round the shaft.

For fuck sakes, I had a wet dream. Groaning, sliding out of bed to shower, and take care of this erection that was at full mast and not backing down.

Making haste of my erection, showering, dressing, and promptly in my office taking care of some financial reports for our outside business. Which was our cover for underground information. You can say we are assassins for hire, but to any normal person we were just information brokers, Private Investigators. Knocking on the door.

“Aw, good morning brother.” Eli boasted taking his seat across from my desk, crossing his legs, folding his arms behind his head.

After the night I just had, I don’t have the time for this shit.

“What has got you in such a glorious mood, brother?” I rebutted with sarcasm.

“Oh, you mind explaining what that was last night at dinner?” Eli asked raising his brow, smiling like that damn Cheshire cat.

“What are you talking about?” I asked playing dumb, picking up another financial report.

“Don’t play that shit with me. Seth and I both saw how you reacted to her.” Eli leaned forward placing his feet firmly. Staring me down, cocking his head to the side.

“For fuck sake. I will shut him up.” Goki huffed.

“No, I got this.” I replied.

“What did you see?” I asked raising an eyebrow.

“Oh, like someone stole your favorite toy.” Eli laughed sitting back against the chair slouching down.

“Hah. You think whatever you want.” Laughing back, shaking my head.

“Well, I guess I will go ask her to accompany me today, then.” Eli grabbed the armrests to stand up. Like hell he will ask her anything.

“He better watch his ass.” Goki growled.

“Sorry, but I’m asking her to accompany me today, so I can show her around the pack lands.” Holding my hand up to him.

“Yeah, we’ll see who asks first.” Eli smiled turning out of the chair, running out the door.

“That asshole better not play this game. He may end up dead.” Goki paced.

“I will handle this. I know how to play his game.” I laughed standing up heading for the door.

“Riley?” I linked.

“Yes Sir. Good morning.” Riley chimed.

“Have Mei meet me for breakfast.” I replied.

“Sure, she is showering as we speak.” Riley replied.

“Good. Thank you.” I replied heading out the door to the dining room.

I could smell the sausage, bacon, and waffles from the second floor. Goki and I were drooling by the time we made it to the dining room. Seth and Eli were already seated reading the morning papers.

“Oh, look who decided to join us for breakfast.” Eli laughed sipping his orange juice smiling over the rim. “Fuck you Eli and that damn horse you rode in on.” Stalking over to my seat as Seth flashed me a smile, laughing.

“That horse is a stallion; you might know, for your information.” Eli laughed back waving his forked sausage.

“What is with you two this morning?” Seth asked looking over the corner of his paper, between Eli and me.

“Mr. Play-it-cool here wants to monopolize Mei all to himself.” Eli flopped his fork forward making figure eights in the air.

“Mr. Know-it-all here wants to play a nasty game, which will result in his ass getting kicked.” Pointing my finger shaking it, smiling evilly.

“Why don’t you two get a room, better yet, I’ll ask her out myself.” Seth laughed cheeky, sipping his coffee.

“Since when did we say anything about asking her out?” Eli chirped crossing his leg halfway.

“First off, Eli, you know you’re playing a nasty game, second, Jack I know something is up just by the way your body language changes whenever ‘she’ is mentioned.” Seth laughed stabbing a piece of fruit sliding it into his mouth with a shit eating grin gracing his perfectly balanced lips.

“Damn, we have trained you good, maybe too well.” Chuckling half-cocked, cutting into my waffles.

“Oh, this is nothing. I know more than you think but I’m not going there.” Seth rebutted going back to his paper.

“You wish.” Eli laughed with a tilted smirk of amusement.

We were silently sitting there, eating, glaring at each other, when I caught her scent. Glancing up as she walked in wearing a pair of skinny jeans, purple plaid short-sleeve shirt, and brown hiking boots.

“Morning.” She said walking over to sit to my left.

“Morning Mei, sleep well.” I asked looking at her eyeballing the food.

Hungry like a Wolf.

“Help yourself, there’s plenty.” Eli smiled handing her a plate. Seth taking the liberty of pouring her some juice.

“Thanks, I am actually starving. Last night was my first real meal.” She exclaimed stabbing a couple waffles, sausages, and bacon.

“What the hell did you eat? ‘Cause your body is well toned and lean.” Seth asked pointing at her arms. That and the fact we saw her body during the fight.

“Mostly rats, but I would get the occasional bread and scraps.” She laughed dryly, eyeballing the food with a silent desire to devour every piece.

“You can’t be serious. Rats?” Eli asked looking at her dumbfounded.

“Yep.” She said popping the p.

“Well, then eat up.” Eli exclaimed shoving more food on her plate. Getting her to laugh. A laugh, my ears perked up at that glorious sound. Then my mood darkened realizing Eli got her to laugh. That fucking bastard I’ll eat his heart.

“Mei, I was thinking after breakfast, I could show you around and we can talk more.” Watching Eli’s face contort with a silent murk of ‘Eat Shit Brother’.

“Yeah, I was going to ask if you could, but wasn’t sure if you would have time.” She said biting into her sausage. A small smile forming on her beautiful pink lips. I want to lick those lips.

‘Shit! Down man. Down!’

“I planned on it, after my outburst last night; I wanted to properly show you around.” I replied smoothly sipping my coffee. Watching her mouth fuck a piece of bacon.

“So, I wanted to know about training. I really need to go for a run. They always kept me sedated because I tried escaping too many times for their liking. That is how I got this bad boy.” She slid her shirt over her right shoulder, exposing the bullet wound scar.

“I was going to ask you about that last night but didn’t want to seem like an asshole.” Pointing at her scar, which made me furious to know they shot her.

“My last escape attempt two days prior to the Fighter Championship. I snapped the guard’s neck with my legs, while he was occupied feeling me up, and when I busted open the convoy door, I was met with a liquid silver-wolfsbane round.” She laughed shaking her head like it was no big thing.

“You healed that fast from a silver round?” Seth dropped his paper looking at the scar that looked to be maybe two weeks old, not three days.

“I told you, I was poked, pricked, and prodded. They used silver so much my body grew tolerant to it.” She stared at Seth like he had two heads.

“That’s not normal. How was your wolf able to heal so fast being sedated?” Eli asked taking a bite of his waffle with his eyes trained on her every move.

“Actually, my healing was prominent before Kyou awoke.” She shrugged her shoulder like it was nothing new.

This is big, normally healing is slower when the wolf is not awake, but she’s saying her healing was like this even before her wolf fully woke.

“Sure, we can go for a run later tonight. We have to go check the south borders for reports of rogues. Seeing how you are a strong fighter; I have no problem with you joining us.” Grinning looking at Eli and Seth smiling.

“Sounds good.” She spoke flattly finishing her juice. Sitting back in her chair looking around the dining room. “You sure that is a good idea?” Eli linked with a curious brow.

“Yeah, you saw how she handled Rocko. I think it will do her good to see what we have been dealing with lately.” I replied.

“What kind of rogues have you been dealing with?” She asked looking between Eli and me, causing Goki to stir in the shadows.

“Mostly rogue werewolves, but we have been seeing a lot more hybrids.” Eli half-tilted his glass sipping his juice, looking over at Seth questioning us with his eyes.

“Yeah, hybrids can be a pain. I fought a wolf-vamp once, his speed and strength were crazy, but his blood frenzy was his undoing.” She laughed recalling her fight with a strange gleam of excitement against that emotionless expression.

Finishing breakfast, Eli and Seth excused themselves to take care of some pack business before we met up later to patrol the south borders. Mei followed me as I showed her around the pack lands with a new sense of purpose.

‘I would walk five-hundred miles.’ Goki hummed happily from the shadows.
