Fighting Spirit Series Chapter 82: Welcome Party

**Jack:**

Pushing through the heavy soft snow as visibility cleared approaching the underground entrance to the castle. More wolves appeared out of the white haze of the vast surroundings.

“Allies.” Lexi linked as a loud cracking vibrated through the heavy snow filled air.

Aircraft hangar sized doors opened up beneath our feet, unleashing a massive fury of hybrids with glowing purple flecks in their eyes. Dodging the three that lunged carelessly, slashing slightly at Brutus’ arms and legs, strengthening the boiling rage within us.

“COCKTAIL.” Max shouted in link as Brutus counterattacked a flying kick from a wolf-bear that appeared out of nowhere.

Sensing his animalistic urges as he shifted into a massive grayish bear, standing eye-to-eye with Brutus lunging his massive claws at our chest, releasing a loud belly growl as he dropped to his four muscular limbs, bear rushing at Brutus. Jumping swiftly over the bear, slashing across his hindquarter, landing directly behind him.

“Finish this bear quickly.” Goki howled in delight as he licked his fangs.

The bear stood up once more slashing Brutus across his snout, feeling the warm stinging as the snowflakes landed on the wound as Brutus speared his fist through the bears’ chest ripping out his heart. Basking in his victorious kill taking delight in the bears’ heart as he shredded it into pieces with his razor-sharp teeth.

“A little bear heart to kick off a marvelous battle.” Brutus laughed darkly as we took off towards the entrance.

Easily slaughtering the “Cocktail” induced frenzy of hybrids as we descended the large ice-covered staircase. Loud Russian voices screamed in the atmosphere as we rounded a corner meeting a large tanned man holding a baby. Amelia closely behind him slashing the throat of a hybrid bitch vampire-wolf that lunged at her and the baby. A deep guttural roaring growl echoed the ice-covered hallway as all the hybrids dropped back nervously. Shifting quickly catching Amelia’s surprised look of amusement.

“It’s about fucking time Alpha.” Amelia yelled stalking forward smiling slyly.

Bouncing the baby in her arms to quiet it down. Catching my gaze at the two bundles of sheets wrapped against their chests.

“Meet your two healthy sons. Nikola and Micah. This is Gus.” Amelia introduced pointing to Nikola on her chest, Micah on the guys chest, Gus.

“Where’s Mei?” I asked scanning the hallway for her beautiful smile and delicious body, which would be ravaged once this shit fest was over.

“The grand hall down this hallway. Aeros showed up.” Gus huffed pointing down the hallway to a large set of frozen oak doors. Nodding in understanding looking at both, gently placing kisses to my sons’ foreheads, patting Gus on the shoulder.

“Be careful. Lexi and Max are fighting above ground.” I said as another hybrid lunged at Amelia from behind, slicing his head off with a steaming stream of blood floating in suspense before landing to the ground with a wet splat.

“Get my pups to safety.” I shouted as I took off down the hallway, tearing limbs from bodies, beating a few with their own limbs, before ending their rampaging attack.

A loud thunderous laugh echoed in the hallway, behind the grand oak doors knowing all too well, it was Mei. Taking off towards the loudest echo of her laughter that abruptly stopped as I came up to a massive gaping hole of stone and ice. Victor and Mei stood holding each other’s murderous gazes as a strong energy surged within my body.

“Mei.” I shouted as I slid to a stop on the ice-covered stone floor.

“JR there is a vial of “Cocktail” to your right on the floor, grab it without him seeing.” Mei linked as she kept her naked back towards me, catching a side-glance of the purple liquid. Mei throwing her hand up to stop as I stepped through the hole.

“So, the WOMAN is fighting this battle. Classic.” Victor laughed hysterically as Mei howled loudly, causing the grand vaulted walls to shake violently as the energy surged through our bodies.

Victor’s eyes twinkled in delight at the sight before him as Mei quickly disappeared then re-appeared behind him landing a solid fist to his rib cage, then disappearing again. Mei’s loud laughter echoed throughout the room, as she stayed hidden in the shadows, taunting her prey.

“Don’t play games with me little girl.” Victor laughed darkly as his eyes slid sideways towards me. Victor disappeared, just as he appeared Mei appeared at the same time in front of me grabbing my hand.

“Wrong.” She laughed as she backhanded Victor, ‘poofing’ us up into the shadowy rafters of the grand hall. Looking down at Victor scanning the room, fuming with rage as his eyes snapped upward towards our direction.

“Jack on three, jump.” Mei linked as I nodded not taking my eyes off of Victor. Victor slid his foot behind slightly before ‘poofing’ away.

“Three.” Mei shouted out loud as we jumped into the air, grabbing a hold of each other as she crushed the vial in her hands between us, watching the liquid become a purple tinted puff of smoke.

“Breathe deep.” Mei laughed with glowing jade green eyes as we both took in a deep breath together planting a heated, passionate kiss before ‘poofing’ to the throne platform.

Standing beside her felt natural, freeing, exotic as my blood boiled into a fiery inferno of rage, destruction, murder. Brutus and Goki howled in rage as their eyes shifted to black feeling the intense surge of energy building deep in my core. The uncontrollable rage took over my body. I felt waves of energy surging from our bodies as Victor appeared in front of us.

“Such a pity. Now I have to kill you both.” Victor laughed uncontrollably like a madman as his eyes turned a deep purple black.

Mei ‘poofed’ behind Victor kicking his back, then flash stepping to the side dodging his slashing attempt at her face. I felt my body tremble with a vibrating energy as I slammed my laced fists to the ground watching as the ground broke open into a deep icy crater. Victor snapping his eyes to me in surprise as I slammed another fist into the ground causing the ground beneath Victor’s feet to break apart, shifting into small mountains of stone and ice.

Mei ‘poofed’ in front of me, planting her back into my chest as I felt our energies sync creating a wall of surging energy as Victor levitated chunks of rocks, launching them at us all at once. Mei lifted her hand up in the air, stopping the rocks as I wrapped my arm around her waist flicking my finger up sending the rocks flying backwards at Victor.

Victor flash stepped dodging the first three flying rocks. The fourth crashing his body into the stone pillar watching as the ceiling began to shake, crumbling apart as dropping chunks of icy stone fell from the heavens, raining a barrage of debris as Victor tried to escape. ‘Poofing’ in front of him suspending his body up from the ground by his delicate neck, crashing his body down into the stone rubble floor as Mei ‘poofed’ beside me, plunging both of our hands into his chest ripping him in half.

Watching as his bloody insides oozed, slipping out from their fleshy coffin, grabbing both halves of his body dragging them over to the icy crater. Mei crouched down dipping her finger in his bloody torso, drawing an ancient symbol on his chest, kicking the bloody remains into the dark icy grave where he would lay in Hell for all eternity.

Loud cracking, crashing drew our attention as the underground castle exploded into raining debris of stone and ice, grabbing Mei’s hand taking off towards the exposed hole in the wall. Feeling the ground beneath our feet shake, cracking apart as we pushed our feet harder into the ground, snaking through the maze of hallways. The grand staircase entrance slowly appeared as the icy stonewalls crumbled around our bodies.

“JR.” Mei linked as I felt her body resisting against my hand.

“Mei.” I shouted pulling her body into mine as I felt my feet pound the ice-covered stairs three-at-a-time. The staircase breaking away in chunks as we neared the exit.
