The Biker's Fate Chapter 528
Flash
A week or so later, my day had ended a little late and I left the flight pad eager to get my arms around Tate. As I walked to my bike, I pulled my phone out and called her. She answered immediately.
"Hey," she breathed out. She was panting and I heard whirring in the background.
"Hey, baby. You okay?"
"Huh? Oh, yeah, I'm on the treadmill. Hold on." I heard the whirring slow, but it didn't completely stop. "I'm back."
"Are you off?"
"No, I'm doing my cool down."
"You lose your focus, you could fall off that thing," I warned. "I'll call you back."
"If you hang up that phone, Parker Wallace, I will kill you and bury you in my mother's garden, next to the azaleas," she threatened. "I'm quite capable of walking on a treadmill and speaking to you at the same time."
"That was a little too specific," I murmured. "How long have you been thinking up ways to kill me?"
I heard the smile in her voice when she said, "You don't want to know."
"You up for dinner?" I asked.
"Are you up for more than dinner?" she challenged.
"What did you have in mind?"
"Is there somewhere… private we can go?"
My dick sprang to attention, and I squeezed my eyes shut. My house was still uninhabitable with major renovation. "I can get a room at the club. Or, we can go to a hotel somewhere."
"Hotel, Flash. Definitely a hotel. For two nights."
"Jesus," I breathed out. "You sure?"
"Unless you're busy."
"Got Niall's party tomorrow and family night. I usually crash at the club on family nights."
"Then we'll stay at a hotel tonight, go to the parties tomorrow," she said. "If I'm invited, that is…"
"You're invited."
"Okay, then," she said. "It's settled."
"You're gonna have to let me go, baby, so I can set it up."
"Okay, honey, go set it up," she said, and hung up.
I grinned, making my way home to plan our night together.
Tate
Oh my god, what the fuck did I just do?
My nether regions zinged with excitement at the thought of getting naked with Flash. My head, however, was terrified.
I shouldn't be scared. This was Flash. He was my best friend.
Even if it had been a while, he hadn't changed that much.
I hoped.
Shaking off my trepidation, I grabbed my duffle from my closet and threw a few things into it, then froze. I took a few deep breaths and sat on the edge of my bed, totally unsure about what to pack.
I mean, what does a virgin pack for her first night with the love of her life?
A knock at the door brought my sister who peeked her head in when I said I was decent.
"Whatya doin'?" she asked, flopping onto my bed.
"I'm going to spend a couple of nights with Flash," I said, making my way to my dresser and pulling out some undies.
"You cannot take those," Hayden said, jumping off the bed, ripping the panties from my hand, and dropping them back into a drawer.
"Why not?"
"Oh my god, because they're ugly." She rummaged through my drawer and pulled out a white lace pair of boy shorts, and a black lace thong I'd never used. In fact, they still had the price tags on them. "These'll work."
"You think?"
"I know," she stressed.
I grabbed the others she'd taken from me and dropped them back into my bag.
"Do not let him see you in those," Hayden warned.
"They're cotton panties, Hay, not a chastity belt."
"Cotton panties are chastity belts in the eyes of men."
I rolled my eyes and my sister let out a quiet huff.
"I'm not kidding," she said. "Keep it sexy."
"Sexy. Got it," I retorted.
"Give me a second," she said, rushing out of my room and across the hall to hers.
I threw a few more things into my bag, then walked into the bathroom for my travel bag of personal stuff. Hayden met me back in my room and handed me condoms and pantyliners.
"I'm pretty sure he'll have condoms, Hay."
"A girl must always be prepared." She dropped the stuff in my bag. "The liners are for after."
I nodded, forcing myself not to blush.
She grabbed my arms and smiled. "And if you want to stop, you have the right and the power to do so."
"Flash would never make me do anything I don't want to do."
She smiled. "This is true."
My phone buzzed and I waved it at her. "Are we good?"
"Fly little virgin, fly," Hayden said, and walked out of my room.
"Hey," I said, into the phone.
"Hey, baby. I'll pick you up in ten, good?"
I bit my lip and nodded. "Very good."
"Love you, Tate."
"Love you too, Parker."
He hung up and I headed downstairs with my bag. After dropping my stuff in the foyer, I sent my mom a quick text so she wouldn't worry, then paced the floor until I heard a car pull into the driveway.
Pulling the door open, I saw Flash sliding out of his truck, and grinned.
"You're not gonna let me come to the door and greet you like a real man should?" he complained as he approached.
I shook my head. "I'm too excited. I'll let you carry my bag, though."
"I can do that." He slid his hand to my waist and pulled me in for a kiss. "Hi."
I smiled up at him. "Hi."
"Let's go."
I nodded and followed him out to the truck. He set my bag behind the passenger seat, then lifted me in, closing my door and jogging to the driver's side.
Once inside, he started the truck and reached over to take my hand. "You good?"
"So good."
He grinned and backed out, guiding the truck to the freeway.
"So, are you going to tell me where we're going?" I asked, squeezing his hand.
"Nope."
"What about a hint?"
He lifted my hand to his lips and kissed my finger. "Nope."
"You remember how I feel about surprises, right?"
Flash chuckled. "I sure do."
"But we're going to a hotel, right? Not a campsite or something just as cringey?"
"I have met you before, Tater. I'm well aware of your aversion to baby wipes."
I wrinkled my nose and shuddered. "Must have a full shower. Must have a full shower."
Flash laughed. "I remember."
Our families had gone camping together… once. That's all it took for me to say never again. I was nine and having to use baby wipes to clean myself was just… disgusting.
Lucky for me, my parents were the type of people who always asked us to try something once, but if we didn't like it, they didn't make us do it again, so I was off the camping hook. Of course, it didn't stop them from buying their own camper a few years ago once they could leave us alone for a few days at a time.
"Your mom hated it too," I pointed out.
"Why do you think my parents bought that huge ass RV?" he retorted. "That was as far as roughing it she would go."
"Do you still keep it at the club?"
"Yeah," Flash said. "It gets more use from the brothers than my parents nowadays."
"Maybe you and I can go RVing one day."
He smiled at me. "Yeah?"
I nodded. "Sure. You know my parents bought a small one. They take off almost every weekend during the summer. Just themselves."
