"Flash," I panted out.

"You okay?"

"I… oh, god." I came so hard and fast, I thought I might pass out. "Fuck. Sorry."

"Don't move," he ordered on a grunt, continuing to bury himself deep until he fell over me, his cock pulsing inside of me. I wrapped my arms around him, kissing his pulse and he rolled us, so we were facing each other, but still connected.

"The bed is soaked, honey," I warned as he shoved the pillows onto the floor.

"Well, yeah, that's the whole point."

"So, this is normal?" I whispered.

He smiled, cupping my face. "Yeah, baby."

"Like, this much?"

He chuckled, sliding out of me, and pulling me over his chest. "Yeah."

I snuggled close, my cheek to his chest and my arm around his waist. "Wow."

He settled his hand to my butt. "Fuck, yeah, wow."

"I think it goes without saying, but I really, really love fucking you."

"Same."

I settled my chin in my hand and met his eyes. "I'm going to expect an orgasm every day."

"How about six?"

I grinned. "Even better."

"Be right back." He stepped into the bathroom, then returned with a warm, wet washcloth to clean me up. Chucking it into the corner of the room, he slid back into bed and pulled me over him again.

I sighed. "I need to study."

He scrunched up his face in horror. "Now?"

"Well, no, not right at this instant."

He gave me a squeeze. "You'll have plenty of time to study, baby. Promise. I have three flights next week, plus club shit."

"Did you ever think to go to firefighter school?"

He chuckled. "Firefighter school?"

I slapped his chest. "Academy. Whatever. You were always flipflopping between flying and being all 'let me jump into some fire somewhere.'"

"I kind of did both."

"You did?"

He nodded. "I did some basic firefighting training but focused on putting wildfires out with the helo."

"How does that work?"

"We grab water from backyard pools and drop it on the fires."

"No way, really?"

"Yep."

"That's so cool."

"Yeah. I don't like that it's necessary, but when it is, it's pretty fuckin' cool."

I kissed his chest. "Let's hope you never have to do it."

He reached out and rapped his knuckles on the nightstand. "Knock on wood."

I ran my finger over his chin. "I'm really glad you've been able to live your dream, honey."

"Me too, baby. Now we're gonna get you to yours."

"That sounds perfect," I whispered, kissing him. "Now. Did you happen to stock the freezer?"

"I sure did. You stay here, I'll get the ice cream."

I kissed him again and watched his buck-naked body saunter out of the room.

Flash

One week later, I arrived home to find Tate sitting in the middle of the bed, at least six books open and scattered around her, but she was bent over her laptop with a scowl on her face.

"Honey, I'm home," I sang, and she glanced up from the computer.

"Hi. Sorry. I'm just sitting here losing my fucking mind," she growled, slamming her laptop closed.

"Why?"

She huffed, moving the books out of her way so she could climb off the bed. Making her way to me, she wrapped her arms around me and kissed me. "I'm having issues logging in to one of the practice tests. I've been trying for two hours, and I just want to shoot the fucking thing."

I slid my hands into her hair. "Sorry, baby."

She sighed. "It is what it is. How did church go?"

"Good. We've got the truck job laid out and it's gonna bring a decent chunk of change into the club." I kissed her again. "I can't figure out if it's harder to pay my dues with my dad as president, or if it would be this hard anyway."

"Anything worth something takes hard work, Flash," she said. "But I'm pretty sure you having to prove yourself would be easier if Hatch wasn't your dad."

"Agreed."

"I mean, anytime the hero creates a mini-me, there's an expectation that the mini-me will be exactly like the hero."

"Wait, Dad's the hero in this story?" I demanded.

"He's the OG hero, baby." She grinned. "But you got this. And you know why you got this?"

I smiled. "Why?"

"Because you're my hero, and you're fucking phenomenal at everything you do." She patted my chest. "Especially figuring out what you're going to feed your woman who has only had a bag of chips and a pint of ice cream all day because she's been fighting with her computer."

I laughed. "Okay, baby, fridge or out?"

"Out," she said. "Let me just freshen up."

"We're gonna need to figure out this bike thing," Flash said.

We had just gorged ourselves on happy hour at our favorite little spot in Hazel Dell, and we were heading to his truck. He kissed me, lifting me into the cab, before getting behind the driver's seat.

"Why?" I asked.

"Because tonight would have been a perfect night to ride."

"But your bike's in the shop."

"You know Dad's got a spare."

"I'm in a skirt," I argued.

He rolled his eyes as he started the truck. "Nice try."

I wrinkled my nose. "It's never going to happen. Not on the road, at least. Maybe if we find a field or trail somewhere and you go ten miles an hour."

"I'll keep that in mind." He chuckled.

"I wish you could find a way to put a bike on like a carousel. You know, like those kid rides? So that you're nowhere near cars and asphalt that could kill you."

"I have an idea…" He raised an eyebrow. "Feel like taking a drive?"

"Sure," I said. "Where?"

"Dad's shop."

"Why," I asked in a sing-song voice.

He chuckled, pulling out of the parking lot without answering my question.

"You're not going to make me get on a bike, right?"

He sighed. "Baby, I would never make you do something you don't want to do."

"No, I know," I breathed out, but found myself relaxing at his words.
