The Triplets' Rejected Disabled Mate Chapter 100

5 min 2 views

Catherine POV

The boys drew straws to see who would be helping me behind the dressing curtains, and Grey won—to Colt and Sam's annoyance.

The boys took me to an amazing boutique with all kinds of dresses and accessories. It was fun to watch them walk through rows and rows of dresses, each picking two or three dresses they liked and bringing them for me to fit.

Grey then helped me in the dressing room, undressing and fitting the dresses.

"I like the material and color of this dress," Grey said as I pulled the dress over my head. "It makes your eyes pop!"

"It is beautiful," I said, moving my hand over the dark green satin dress. It had a pencil skirt, and I wasn't very fond of the bottom. "Who picked it?" I asked.

"I think Sam picked this one," Grey answered.

I fitted the dress over my waist, and Grey pulled me into his arms so that I could pull the dress straight.

I could do this on my own and without his help, but the boys wanted to see what the dress would look like when I was standing.

Grey carefully set me back down in my chair and went around the chair to help me with the zipper on the back.

I looked at myself in the mirror and moved my body to have a better look at myself.

"Ready?" He asked. "I think Colt would love it."

Was he more worried about Colt's thoughts than mine?

I took a deep breath and nodded my head.

"Okay," I said. "Let's do this."

Grey opened the curtain, picked me up, and carried me two steps forward, then slowly set my feet down on the floor and pulled me upright.

My legs buckled under me, but Grey managed to keep me steady. He was carrying most of my weight in his arms.

"That dress does look beautiful," Sam purred as he sat next to Colt.

Colt narrowed his eyes and knitted his eyebrows, a familiar gesture indicating he liked the dress but didn't love it.

"Nope," Colt said. "It's not the one."

I sighed. It was the fifth dress I had already fitted.

Grey nodded, lifted, and carried me back, and Sam handed Grey the next dress.

This time it was a cocktail dress with a low v-line.

"There is no way I would wear that," I said.

"Just fit it on," Grey said and sighed.

"Why?" I asked. "It's a waste of our time. I don't like that dress, and I refuse to have my breasts hang out. I am not a slut!"

"Grey," Colt's voice came from behind the curtain, "hand me the dress."

Grey rolled his eyes and did as Colt said.

"Was that all the dresses?" I asked.

"No," Sam said from behind the curtain. "Two more to go."

"Hand both of them to Grey," I said. "I am now done playing dress up."

Grey sighed.

Sam huffed.

But Colt agreed.

Sam handed Grey the last two dresses, and immediately I was drawn to the navy blue dress.

"This one, Grey," I said, gesturing to the dress.

Grey widened his eyes, surprised that I would pick something like that.

"This is the one!" I said, touching the soft material.

We did the whole process of getting dressed, but when Grey carried me out and I dropped the thin chiffon skirt, it flowed around me like water.

"It's different," Sam said, cocking his head sideways.

Grey huffed; he didn't like this dress at all.

"It's a princess-style dress," I said, moving the skirt with my hands around me. The top of the dress covered everything perfectly, yet the dress allowed me to show off my shoulders.

"I like it," Colt said, and his brothers' gazes snapped toward him. "The style suits you. It is not heavy; it flows. You look like a real princess in that dress."

"Are you kidding me right now?" Grey growled.

"You are just jealous that Kate didn't pick one of your dresses," Sam said, making Grey shut up.

"Who picked the dress?" I asked.

The three brothers looked at each other.

"It wasn't me," Sam said.

"Me neither," Grey said.

"Not me," Colt said.

"Then who was it?" I asked.

A small, gray-headed lady came forward, waving her hand at us.

"Sorry, it was me," she said, dropping her gaze. "I didn't want to intrude on your shopping spree, but I couldn't help myself from picking up and bringing you this dress."

Colt looked the old woman up and down and smiled.

"Don't be sorry," he said, getting to his feet. "You just made my future Luna very happy!"

The old woman lifted her gaze and smiled back at him. She was happy that she could please him.

I wonder who she was.

Is she a pack member?

I didn't recognize her scent.

"I am glad to be of assistance," she said, smiling.

Grey rolled his eyes and sulked, then lifted and carried me back to the dressing room. In no time, we were done, and I was back in my own clothes.

We found Colt and Sam already standing at the pay point.

Colt had a pair of silver stilettos in his hands, and Sam was holding a silver clutch bag in his hands.

"Do you like it?" Sam asked, handing me the bag.

I nodded.

"It's beautiful," I said.

"I picked it," Sam said, and Colt glared at him. "Okay, I had some help from the old wolf."

I chuckled, shaking my head.

"She said these might be to your taste," Colt said, showing me the shoes. They were perfect, and they were my size.

"They are," I said, as my fingertips lined the delicate straps on the shoes. They were silver too, with six-inch heels. They had thin straps going over the bridge of the foot. They would have made me look taller if I could stand.

How did she know that?

Was she spying on me? On us?

The boys made the purchase, and we left for Latinos, where I received a not-so-happy surprise.
