The Triplets' Rejected Disabled Mate Chapter 110

5 min 2 views

Catherine POV

"Colt," I called, and I shook his shoulders lightly. "Did you bring me those clothes?"

A pair of blue jeans and a white blouse were neatly folded and left on the dressing table, and they looked kind of familiar.

Was that my clothes?

I knitted my eyebrows together, hoping to figure out if they were.

Colt grunted next to me, pulling the blanket over his head.

That was different. Was he still tired after he came to bed so late?

A few seconds later, I could hear him snoring from underneath the blanket.

I shook my head, smiling, pulling the wheelchair closer.

I moved the blankets out of the way and lifted myself onto the wheelchair.

When I was comfortably sitting in the chair with my legs firmly on the footrest, I pushed myself to the bathroom.

The bathroom wasn't the biggest I had ever seen or been in, but it was big enough for me to get around.

The brothers made sure I could move around easily and ensured that I could take a shower without worrying about getting in and out.

I pulled my shower chair closer—one the boys designed for me to move around in the bathroom and shower—and lifted myself over.

I then grabbed the railing, pulled myself toward the shower entrance, and carefully shifted the chair inside.

The only flaw about this shower was the floor; it was built with a bit of a slope. Getting in was fine, but getting out was a bit of a hassle.

Once inside, I opened the tap and went on with my routine.

My mind drifted off as the hot water danced over my body.

This morning's dream was still vivid in my mind, and my thoughts wandered off.

I could smell Colt's intoxicated sandalwood scent in my dream. He was standing a couple of feet from me, next to his wolf, Ray, deep in conversation. I wonder what they were discussing.

I was about to get closer when the most heartbreaking howl sounded around me, and my attention shifted to the sound. I gasped out, surprised, when the most beautiful wolf came into view, standing under the full blue moon.

An overbearing aura flowed like a blue-silver wave around her huge, white body, and the surrounding air became thick and unbearable to breathe. Her scent was light and sweet. I could smell and feel the power that was hidden and written inside her scent, and it was kind of suffocating for me where I stood.

Stood?

I was standing.

On my own?

In a clearing?

Why haven't I noticed that?

I was standing in an unknown clearing with beautiful grasslands full of blooming wildflowers. A place where wolves and pups would enjoy running and playing.

My heart fluttered in my chest, and I stretched out my hand, letting the long green grass slide between my fingertips.

This feels real.

This looks all too real.

The soft grass fragrance was even more real.

Was I dreaming? And if I was, then why does all of this feel so real?

My gaze moved back to where Colt and Ray stood, frozen. They were staring at the white wolf.

Were they seeing what I was seeing? That she was a pure white wolf?

Why did they both look at the wolf in shock?

Was it because of her color? Is that the reason why they haven't noticed me?

I know pure white wolves were only seen as a myth. And those born with white fur always had a patch or a dark mark somewhere hidden in their fur.

But for some reason, I knew this wolf was different.

I could feel it in my bones, down to the bottom of my soul.

A second howl aired, and it sent a powerful wave through my body and enveloped my soul.

I closed my eyes for a bare second, enjoying the powerful, warm, fuzzy feeling. The feeling was electrifying, as if it belonged to me, was part of me, and owned me.

When my eyes flew open, the wolf turned, and her gaze met mine.

My heart skipped a beat, and my hands flew to my lips, gasping.

Golden eyes looked back at me, and the familiar angelic giggle rang in my mind. This can’t be!

"Kate!" Grey's voice sounded from the bedroom, bringing me back to my presence and startling me.

I accidentally shifted my weight out of fright, and the chair tilted, bringing me down to the floor hard and bumping my head against the shower wall.

"Ouch!" I yelled out, rubbing the bump on my head and shifting my body.

"Goddess, Kate!" Grey gasped, seeing me on the shower floor.

"Are you alright?" Sam asked, rushing closer, closing the shower tap, and scooping me up in his arms.

"I'm fine," I said, rubbing my head.

Sam carried me out of the bathroom, and Grey grabbed the towel.

"It doesn't look like it!" Grey said, annoyed.

"What happened?" Sam asked. "Daydreaming again?"

"Hopefully it was about us," Grey added.

"If only..." I whispered, checking if there was any blood.

Sam and Grey playfully growled at my answer.

Grey set a towel on the bed to keep the bed dry, and Sam set me down on top of the towel.

"Thanks," I said, giving them both an embarrassed smile.

"Let's get you dried off," Sam said, and Grey handed him a towel.

Sam slipped in behind me and started hand-drying my hair.

My gaze shifted to Colt, still sleeping.

"What time is it?" I asked.

"Just after 9 a.m.," Grey said, narrowing his eyes.

Was he thinking what I was thinking about Colt still sleeping?

"Is Colt sick?" I wondered out loud.

Grey went closer to Colt, bent down, and took his temperature.

"No," he said. "We would have known if he was sick."

"Can you feel it?" I asked, but Sam cut me off.

"No," he said, shaking his head.

"Then how do you..." I asked.

"Know?" Grey asked, and I nodded. "We would all be sick..."

"Then what is wrong with Colt?" I asked, worried.

"Not sure," Sam said. "But we can feel something is brewing around him."
