The Triplets' Rejected Disabled Mate Chapter 119

Colt's POV

"You better take this outside," my mother sneered, jumping in between us.

Sam growled at her, extending his claws. He was just protecting our mate, and he wasn't going to allow anyone to take her from us.

"Sam," I warned, pinning my gaze to his extended claws. "Put them away before you hurt someone."

Sam gave me a look of annoyance, nodded, and backed off.

"Remove your filthy hands from me!" Ethan growled, looking down at my mother.

My mother shivered, and the look of bewilderment on her face was priceless. She used Ethan as a shield when Sam extracted his claws.

She carefully retreated her hands from Ethan and took a step back.

My father announced to calm the crowd's annoyance on his face. He wasn't in the mood for this kind of drama—not tonight anyway.

When he noticed we were making the fuzz, his eyes widened, and he came rushing closer. He looked quite surprised.

My father gave us one look and gestured for us to follow him.

"What is the meaning of this?" My father roared as soon as we entered his office and closed the door.

"Ethan claims that Kate is his mate!" Sam growled darkly.

My father's confused gaze turned to Ethan.

"Is that true?" he asked.

"Yes, Alpha Michael," Ethan said, taking a seat on the lover's chair and spreading his arms. "And I am planning to take her back to my pack and make her Luna!"

"Over my dead body!" Sam snapped.

"That can be arranged," Ethan replied calmly.

My father sighed.

"Ethan..."

"Alpha Ethan," he said, cutting my father off.

"Very well," my father said. "Alpha Ethan, Ms. Jones has been spoken for."

"I don't care," Ethan said. "She is my mate, and I want her to return home with me."

"You can't have something that doesn't belong to you," Sam yelled.

Ethan rolled his eyes and sneered.

"She is rightfully mine," he said. "She is my fated mate."

"Which you rejected!" I snapped.

"I will undo the rejection," Ethan said. "I have the right!"

"You can't!" Sam coldly. "She is now our rightful mate. We have already mated and claimed her!"

Ethan got to his feet and smiled.

"Have you marked her?" He asked Sam.

"No, not yet," Sam answered, frowning.

"In that case, I have the right to take her with me," Ethan said. "And as an Alpha, by law, I have the right to take back what belongs to me!"

Sam's face turned red out of anger, and his body started to tremble.

"Calm down," I linked him.

"The law also states that if marked by her mate, no other wolf can claim her," Grey said, entering the office.

"We have gone down this road already," Ethan snapped. "She isn't marked. Sam confirmed it!"

Grey chuckled, amused, shaking his head. He was finding Ethan's irritation amusing.

"Cousin," Grey said, deliberately ignoring his title and coming closer. "I wasn't talking about Sam. We all know Sam hasn't marked Kate yet."

"What are you talking about?" My mother asked, jumping to her feet. Disbelief crossed her eyes.

"She planned this," Ray yapped in my mind angrily. "This so-called treaty was just an excuse to get Ethan here. Your mother must have gotten news that Ethan had rejected his mate and was looking for her."

"Agreed!" I replied.

My mother was taking extreme measures to get rid of Kate.

"Sit down," my father snapped, and we all took a seat.

Our gaze slowly moved to Grey, who, for obvious reasons, was sitting with a broad smile on his face.

"Did you mark Kate?" My father asked Grey.

"No," Grey answered with a smile, shaking his head.

"Then who did?" my father asked, rubbing his temples.

"Colt," Grey simply answered.

Everyone's gazes moved toward me, and I looked like a deer caught in headlights.

I wasn't sure where this was going, but I sure knew the consequences if I confirmed that what Grey said was true.

"Colt?" My father called.

"Yes?" I answered.

"Is that true?" he asked.

My mind shifted in a different direction. I can't recall if I did or did not.

"I..."

"Just answer yes," Grey mind-linked me.

My gaze snapped toward Grey, finding his.

"I will explain everything when this is over," he continued.

I released a breath I didn't know I was holding and nodded my head.

"Yes," I said. "Kate is marked."

My father sighed, relieved.

"Then it's settled," he said, smiling. "Alpha Ethan, you have no mate claim on Ms. Jones! The she-wolf has been marked by her mate."

"This is outrageous!" Ethan yelled at me, getting to his feet. "She belongs to me, an Alpha! You haven't taken the title yet. I have the right to claim her!"

Something snapped inside me, and the power that was hidden inside my veins spread like wildfire throughout my body, burning my insides. I rose to my feet and looked Ethan dead in the eyes.

"No!" I said, expanding my aura. "The second I marked her, I became Alpha of this pack, and you have no claim on her! She is MINE!"

Ethan roared, extending his claws. He took a defensive position and was ready to fight me for Kate.

Grey and Sam flanked my sides; they too had taken a defensive posture and had extended their claws. They were ready to fight to keep and protect Kate.

"You are outnumbered, three to one," Sam spat.

"I suggest you leave now, Ethan," Grey sneered through gritted teeth. "We will not back down without a fight."

"You surely do not want to die here today," I warned, crossing my arms around my chest.

Ethan retreated his claws after a moment before he rushed toward the door. My mother followed him out.

"This isn't over!" He yelled over his shoulder before he exited, slamming the door shut behind him.

I released a breath I didn't know I was holding and turned my gaze towards Grey; he had a lot of explaining to do.

But what I learned next wasn't at all what I expected.
