The Triplets' Rejected Disabled Mate Chapter 162

5 min 2 views

Catherine POV

Mario refused to show me how my make-up and hair looked; he used the excuse that he had forgotten his mirror.

"I am sorry, Luna," Mario said, and he and the stylist headed toward the door.

I knew I could trust Mario, but hell, I was curious to see how he had done my make-up.

There must be a mirror hidden somewhere!

I headed to Grey's bathroom and sighed—all the mirrors were removed.

They did this on purpose—what was the big surprise?

A soft knock on the bedroom door made me rush out of the bathroom, finding Grey and Sam standing and waiting in the doorway.

My jaw dropped. Both looked so handsome in their black tuxedos.

"Are we attending some kind of fancy dress party?" I asked, hoping that one of them would give in and tell me. "Did I miss the invite?"

"Something like that," Grey said, coming closer with a huge white box.

"Is that my dress?" I asked, curiously watching my mates.

"Something like that," Sam answered, and I narrowed my eyes at them.

This secrecy was now working on my last nerve.

Grey's gaze met Sam's, and he nodded.

"I am sorry, baby," Sam said, taking out a blindfold.

"But you would smudge Mario's masterpiece!" I argued, taking a step back.

Grey chuckled, bumping Sam's shoulder.

"Mario made sure to make you wear only make-up that wouldn't smudge easily," Sam said, smiling.

This was planned!

"And we won't tie the blindfold too tightly, I promise," Grey said.

I looked at my mates in disbelief and eventually gave in with a pout.

"You look so beautiful when you are so annoyed," Grey said.

"And I just want to kiss that pout right off your lips," Sam added with a chuckle, coming closer.

Sam carefully tied the blindfold over my eyes.

"Now, princess," he said. "We are going to help you into your new dress."

"Just have some patience with us, helping you," Grey added.

The sound of paper suddenly sounded, and I assumed that they had opened the box Grey carried in.

"Grab onto my shoulders," Sam said, and I lifted my hands, feeling silly. Warm hands caught my wrist and placed them on Sam's shoulders.

"Lift your left leg," Grey said, and I complied. "Now you are right. Thanks."

"Okay, that's good," Sam said. "I'm going to slowly move back up and zip you up."

I nodded, feeling Sam moving under my hands.

Strong hands lifted my arms into the air.

"Keep them there for just a moment, please," Grey said.

I could feel Grey closing the zipper on my back, then gently pulling my arms down.

"Perfect!" Sam said. "Now the shoes."

Grey's hands wrapped around my torso, holding me in place.

"Push your left foot out," he said.

Sam took hold of my ankle and fitted a rather light shoe to my foot, then did the same with my right foot.

It felt a bit weird to wear such high heels.

"All done," Sam said, pleased, and Grey let go of me.

The boys moved away from me, and the room suddenly fell silent—only the fluttering of my heart sounded in my ears.

"Boys?" I called, getting worried. I didn't hear them leave.

Were they stunned looking at me? Was there something wrong with the dress?

"Sorry," Grey said, taking my hand. "We are just admiring how lovely..."

"Beautiful you look," Sam's voice broke.

"Sam, are you crying?" I asked.

"No," he said. My hands moved to the blindfold, but Grey gently caught them.

"Just wait," he said tenderly. "Don't ruin the surprise."

A small breath left my lips, and I nodded. Grey and Sam each took a hand and started to the door.

"We are not taking the wheelchair," I asked teasingly.

"Not today," Grey said with a chuckle. "It would ruin your wed...."

"Perfect dress," Sam chirped, cutting Grey off.

I kept silent the rest of the way, feeling nervous and excited—I guess the boys' emotions were spilling over the shared link.

Grey and Sam had their chance to mark me on the night of the Alpha Ceremony.

They didn't want a traditional marking, so we ended up in an open clearing, running in wolf form.

Ray marked Kia first, then Duke and Sam. Kia returned the favor in the same order.

When we eventually shifted back to humans, Sam and Grey marked me.

I didn't need to individually mark any of my mates; Kia's mark was strong enough to appear on their napes in human form.

What were the boys planning?

Why all the secrecy?

My mind wandered off to my perfect and unbelievable baby shower. Everyone came and joined to celebrate the future Alpha's birth.

Luna Mary had gotten my mother and family involved, and the surprise was a bittersweet memory.

I went into labor halfway through the surprise baby shower.

"We are here," Grey announced, and Sam let go of my hand, opening the door.

Grey steered me a couple of feet forward, and Sam closed and opened another door.

Colt's scent filled the room.

"Are you ready?" Grey asked.

"Yes," both Colt and I said together.

My breath started to escalate as my heart fluttered inside my chest, excitement bubbling over.

"Remove your blindfold," Sam ordered, and he and Grey stepped away from me.

I struggled to untie the knot, my hands shaking.

"Let me help you," Colt said, his voice tender and warm.

I slowly dropped my arms, letting Colt take over the impossible task.

Colt was done in a second, and he dropped the blindfold in my hands.

"You look beautiful," he said, his voice husky and painfully tender.

I slowly opened my eyes.

Colt was the first I saw, and my heart leaped out of my chest and skipped a beat as my eyes roamed over him.

He was dressed in a white tuxedo and white dress shirt, but that wasn't what made my heart flutter; it was the look of pure love and the tender smile that was painted on his face.

I turned crimson as he cupped my face.

"The color suits you," he said, brushing over my flustered cheeks. "Never lose your pure heart and innocence."

Colt bent down and pecked my lips, his sandalwood scent driving my insides to mush.

He tenderly smiled as he pulled away.

"Come," he said, taking my hand. "Everyone is waiting."

What was revealed next made my heart spill over in love and happiness.
