The Triplets' Rejected Disabled Mate Chapter 113
Catherine POV
It was already after 8 p.m. when I was finally done with the stylist. It was torturous. No wonder Sam wanted me to start early.
I sighed as I slipped on my shoes. The boys arranged for a stylist to do my hair, makeup, and nails.
I couldn't complain; I looked like some princess from a fairytale book.
I pushed my wheelchair to my dressing table and reached for my jewelry box.
I was thinking of wearing the freshwater pearls I got for my last birthday with the new silver satin dress the boys gifted me.
Grey left the new dress in my room earlier with a single white rose and a card attached to it, with five little words written on the card: "There is more to come!"
I reached for my jewelry box, pulled it closer to me, and started searching for the jewelry.
A knock on the door interrupted my search, and I turned my attention to the door.
"It's open," I called, turning the wheelchair to face the door.
Three handsome wolves, dressed in black penguin suits, walked in. They looked so dashing that I didn't recognize them at first.
Three handsome wolves looked so similar, yet they were so different. My heart skipped a beat, and I licked my lips.
Three handsome wolves were all standing awkwardly next to one another, each with a single red rose. I wish I had a camera to take a picture of them.
"Good evening, gents," I said, openly gawking at them. They have always been handsome, but tonight it will be hard for me to keep my eyes off them.
Kia stirred in my mind, and I could feel her becoming excited. She has been busy in my mind most of the day. Her excitement grew with each passing hour.
I hope she remembered our little deal.
"Evening, Ms. Jones," Grey said respectfully, taking a step closer.
He squatted down to my level, took my right hand, and placed a soft kiss on top of it.
"We have picked these roses personally just for you," he said. "We believe they are only meant to be given to the most beautiful girl in our lives, our mate, you!"
I blushed as Grey handed me the single red rose.
Grey got to his feet and took a step away, giving Sam a turn to get closer.
"With this rose," Sam said, squatting down. "We pledge to be by your side for the rest of our lives."
He did the same as Grey, kissed the top of my hand, and handed me the single red rose.
Colt was the last to get closer.
I was worried that my scent was going to destroy the beautiful moment.
Colt knelt, handed me the rose, and searched my gaze.
"With this rose," he said. "We promise to love you and our offspring every second of every day."
"I love you too," I said, feeling my face heat up and tears building up in the back of my eyes.
Colt reached for his jacket pocket and brought a little box into view.
Goddess, was he going to propose?
My heart started to race, and my thoughts were scattered all over.
I wasn't ready for that step. We are still learning to know each other.
Colt searched my gaze and softly smiled.
"We bought something for you," he said. "We are hoping that you will wear it for us tonight at the Blue Moon Festival."
I gasped in surprise when he opened the small jewelry box and showed me the contents.
Two diamond heart-stud earrings were inside. They looked too expensive to wear.
"They are beautiful," I whispered, feeling my heart flutter against my chest. "You shouldn't have."
"But we must!" Grey argued. "You are our mate, and you deserve only the best."
"Grey is right," Sam said. "We only want to give you the best of everything, every moment of the day!"
Colt closed the box, placed the box in my hand, and nodded toward Grey.
Grey reached into his jacket pocket and revealed a second box, bigger than the first. Then he handed the box to Colt.
My hands flew to my lips when I saw the beautiful bracelet inside. It had three diamond heart-shaped charms in different colors, presenting each of the triplets as my mate.
It was beautiful, and I was a bit hesitant to accept it.
"Go on," Sam urged, seeing my worry. "We were all itching to give that to you when we were still at the beach house!"
"I don't know what to say!" I said, feeling the tears burning behind my eyelids.
"Say you will wear it for us," Grey urged, smiling.
I slowly nodded, blinking the tears back.
Colt smiled, lifted the bracelet from the box, and fitted it around my wrist.
"We will give you a minute," Colt said, getting to his feet and leaving a kiss on my cheek. "You look beautiful," he whispered.
"We will wait outside," Grey added, going toward the door.
"We can't wait to show you off to the packs," Sam added, excited.
I took a deep breath when the door closed behind them, then turned and looked at myself in the mirror.
"I can do this," I said, taking out the first earring out of the box.
I smiled at myself in the mirror when I was done.
The diamond earrings were really beautiful, and they complimented my whole look.
I pulled the wheelchair back and pushed myself forward. Then I grabbed my jacket and pushed myself toward the door.
The three brothers waited for me outside the room.
Sam was the first to be by my side, and he took responsibility for pushing the wheelchair.
"Ready?" Grey asked as Colt's eyes scanned me.
"Ready," I said, nodding.
We started off toward the exit of the quarters, ready to go and enjoy the festival.
With three dashing werewolf Alphas at my side, what were the chances that something might go wrong?
