While others seek survival, I engage in flirtation Chapter 8: I Actually Have Muscles Now

I spun around, and Aimee's eyes locked onto my abs, her cheeks flushing red. She was practically naked, her chest rising and falling with every breath, making it hard not to reach out and touch her.

"Want to feel?" I flexed my abs, making the muscles pop even more. Aimee didn't say a word, but her hand reached out, her fingertips slowly tracing over my skin.

There's something special about a woman's soft touch, especially when she's as gorgeous as Aimee.

Before she mentioned it, I hadn't even realized I had muscles! I'd always been this scrawny, weak guy, but ever since we got stranded on this deserted island, my body had changed a lot. I was stronger, faster, and my reflexes were way better.

I was a whole new person.

Maybe being stuck on this island wasn't the worst thing ever. At least, all these changes were for the better. And hey, I'd caught the eye of some beautiful women.

The three of us walked for ages before we got back to camp. On the way, I picked up a bunch of useful stuff. Besides food like blueberries, I grabbed a lot of big palm leaves. They'd make decent mattresses and could wrap things up, super handy.

"Carl! You're back! What happened to your clothes?" Margaret struggled to her feet and rushed over as soon as we got back.

She looked really worried.

I explained why I was shirtless and introduced the two new members of our camp.

Looking at the three nearly naked beauties in front of me, I couldn't help but think it was a shame this wasn't happening off the island. Or maybe I wished this island life would never end... But that was crazy. We couldn't survive here forever!

I helped Margaret clean her wound and ground some sage with a smooth stone to apply to it. Not long after, her fever broke. She must've been exhausted because she fell asleep right after.

Right now, the most important thing was to get rescued. There were four of us in the camp, and if we worked together, we could get the basic supplies we needed. We also needed to send out a distress signal.

All day, we hadn't seen any sign of a rescue team.

"Your name's Carl, right? Do you think we can make it out of here?" Ivy, who'd been quiet the whole way, finally spoke up, her eyes full of sadness. Aimee and I both went silent. None of us had an answer.

But we all needed hope. Hope that we'd get out of here alive.

"We'll make it," I assured them. Even though I wasn't totally sure we'd be rescued, there wasn't any immediate danger.

Plus, the school would definitely send a search and rescue team. All we had to do was wait for them to find us.

Margaret was out cold, her fever mostly gone, but she was still super weak and needed more rest.

So, I talked it over with the other two girls, and we decided to take turns keeping the fire going. We had a lot to handle in the coming days, but first, we needed to get through the night.

The next morning, I woke up to find Ivy sitting by the campfire, staring into the flames. Maybe because she was older, she seemed calmer than the others since I first met her.

"You're up?" She looked a bit surprised to see me awake since I'd only slept for a couple of hours due to our night watch schedule.

When it got light, I saw her wake up and asked her to watch the fire while I caught some sleep.

I nodded and sat down next to her. She had this faint, pleasant scent coming from her hair.

"How did you end up on this island?" I asked. Since meeting Ivy, I'd felt something was off. She was too calm, not like someone stranded on a deserted island.

She sighed and said, "When our cruise ship capsized, I was at a party at the stern, chatting with others. Only a few of us managed to get on the lifeboat."

"We, the survivors, paddled like crazy but couldn't escape the whirlpool and ended up here, washed ashore by the waves."

She showed me her wrist, which was injured but had been treated and was now scabbed over.

"Then how did you end up being chased up a tree by wolves? Where are the others?" I asked. I was worried about her and wanted to know why she was separated from the others and when her wounds were bandaged.

If her wounds were treated after coming ashore, someone must have brought medical supplies. If we could find antibiotics, Margaret's wound could fully heal, and we'd have a better shot at surviving.

"I got hurt getting on the lifeboat, and the first mate brought a medical kit and helped me bandage it. But the waves were too strong, and when I washed ashore, I was the only one left." Ivy's voice was sad, and I couldn't imagine what she'd been through.

From her story, I guessed the others on her boat probably didn't make it. It was a miracle she'd survived this long.

"Trust me, we'll get out of here," I said, holding her hand and patting my chest. "I'll protect you."

Out of nowhere, Ivy hugged me and kissed me on the lips. Her arms pressed against my ribs, her fingers lightly touching my waist. It was the first time I'd felt a woman kiss me so passionately. Her tongue moved like a little fish, stirring in my mouth.

"Don't get me wrong, this is just to thank you for saving me." She slowly let go of my waist and placed her hands on my wrists. I could see in her eyes that she was genuinely grateful.

But it meant a lot to me because it was my first kiss! My first kiss was with my dream girl!

My dream girl was right in front of me, and she had just kissed me! I couldn't control myself and immediately hugged her and kissed her back.
