Chapter 23 - Bonds

Dimitri's POV

I couldn't believe she had set foot in The Adonis, which was a live sex show theater that attracted lots of swingers. When I saw her on her hands and knees watching like a peeping Tom, I had to hold Dom back who wanted to mount her on the spot. To dominate and claim her.

She is just as much stubborn as she is beautiful. I had to keep reminding myself that she was much younger than me and would make a few foolish, impulsive decisions. I don't know what I would have done if those bastards had gotten their hands on her.

Dom could sense that she was a powerful wolf, but because of her young age, she may have not received much of the training she needed. We need to work on developing her elemental gift too. I could cause earthquakes, sink holes, landslides, bring trees and buildings down with my gift. She should have been able to torch Eros from head to toe with very little effort.

Judging from her phone call with her cousin, Raven was indeed daddy's girl and may have been accustomed to getting her way. Her training might have been far more relaxed because she was the Alpha's daughter. She's my mate now and the future Luna to our pack, I need to claim and mark her soon. I don't want to rush her into mating because she's still a virgin, but that makes Dom even more anxious to have her.

Raven had a stubborn pride about her, and I needed to get her attention, make her realize that she belongs to me now. That I was now her Alpha and I needed her to obey me. The mate bond would make her submit. The more time she spends near me, the stronger the mate bond pulls.

Wolves are naturally sexual creatures. Our genetic makeup and instincts revolve around territory, food, mating and dominance. Right now, Dom wanted to mate, and I wanted dominance.

"Take the wig off and come sit on my lap. I have a punishment to deliver to a naughty little wolf." She obediently came to me and sat in my lap, which pleased the Alpha side of me.

Before she could register what was happening, I had shifted her across my lap and flipped her dress up. Her ass was begging to be spanked and it was exactly what she needed. Her wolf completely submitted, and Dom was in a frenzy to claim her. Raven tried to resist with the first dozen spanks and then the scent of her sweet arousal hit me. She was enjoying it as much as I was, she was putty in my hands. I teased her to the brink of orgasm and was on the verge of losing all my own self-control when I pulled away and stopped.

I took her into the bathroom with me for a shower and she didn't resist at all. In fact, she seemed completely at ease around me in the nude. The mate bond was working fast. I could feel her eyes on my body and the heat of desire coming from her. My self-control was really being tested.

After our shower, we headed straight to bed. My naughty little wolf teased me when she kept rubbing her backside into me, as if extending an invitation. Her heart was racing, and I could sense she was still tense with need. Dom took control of me for a moment, when I regained control, I found myself buried between her legs satisfying her. After her deliciously sweet release, she drifted off to sleep across my chest.

"You're welcome." Dom quipped and was content at having his mate so close.

I was pulled out of my sleep when Niko mind linked me early in the morning with bad news. A growl escaped me, and I realized I had woken up my mate.

"What's wrong?" She looked up to find me pulling my pants on.

"Alec was taken last night when he took Evelyn home. Niko is downstairs. Kosta was watching the docks and believes they are holding Alec with Rocky and Leo."

"Are you leaving?" She asked.

"Yes. I need you to listen to me carefully. You need to stay here, don't open the door for anyone. Alexander should be here shortly with your bags and my sister. He has a key and access code. When Odessa gets here, stay in the penthouse, it's practically impenetrable." I told her.

I went to the dresser, pulled out my gun and shoved a clip full of silver bullets into it. Raven looked at me with wide eyes and shock. "Eros' men don't fight fair." I explained.

"Are you sure I can't come with you?" She asked.

"Baby, Alec is one of the best fighters we have, and they have him. They will not hesitate to use silver bullets and you are the main target. I need you safe and I need you to help keep Odessa safe with you. I was planning on taking you both to the island this morning, but I have to go deal with this. Now give me your phone."

"My phone?" She asked.

I took her phone and dialed my number. I hung up when I felt my phone vibrating, registering her cell phone number. "That's my number. Call me if you need anything. I'll be back as quick as I can. Raven, you are not to leave this penthouse."

"Be careful." She responded.

"I'm considering tying you to the bed, don't make me regret not doing it."

"I promise I'll be good." She assured me.

I kissed her goodbye and quickly moved to the door. Niko was waiting in the car when I stepped into the parking garage.

"How long until Alexander and Odessa are here?" I asked.

"They're about thirty minutes away." Niko said.

"Do we know what time they picked Alec up?"

"He left with Evelyn shortly after the fight Alexander triggered. They were ambushed in front of her home. She was found dead on her doorstep with her neck snapped. Kosta believes Eros' men carried Alec onto a boat just before sunrise."

"Let's get to the marina and have a look, but first I want to stop by Evelyn's place." I told him and he drove to our first destination.

We arrived and the place was already crawling with police. Evelyn was human and her body had already been removed, but I wasn't here for that. I was here to scent the other wolves who did this. To find the one or two who might still be hidden nearby watching things unfold.

My eyes scanned the crowd of onlookers, the buildings nearby and the cars in the area. I got out of the car and Niko circled around the block. A figure nearby turned and started walking in the opposite direction at an unusually fast pace. I followed and picked up his scent as I got closer, he was a wolf. He turned a corner and took off running. Bad move. Running triggers chase and he couldn't outrun this Alpha.

"Niko bring the car to the east end." I mind linked him before I tackled my target. He wasn't a rogue which means he belonged to Eros' pack. I picked him up and threw him in the back of the car with me. I took my gun out and held it to his head.

"It's loaded with silver bullets." I flashed a dangerous smile. Dom wanted to rip his heart out and eat it for breakfast.

"I don't know anything." He said.

"And you just happen to be an innocent bystander at the scene of a crime? WHERE HAVE THEY TAKEN MY GAMMA?" I snarled.

"I told you, I don't know anything." He snapped back.

"Oh it's not going to be that easy for you. I see that you're marked. Is she a nice she wolf? Would I like her?" I threatened and could see the rage in his eyes.

"You've heard the rumors about my wolf haven't you? Why he's so much larger than other wolves? It's because he loves to snack on pups. Tell me, do you have any pups?" I smiled wide.

"You're a sick bastard." He snarled back at me.

"You know, my Beta over here prefers males instead of females. Would your mate be able to feel your rape and torture through the mate bond?" I asked.

"I am not fucking some guy." Niko mind linked me, and a laugh escaped me.

"Easy there virgin, I know you're waiting for your mate. Pull over at the park up ahead so I can plant him there." I linked back.

"You have two minutes to talk before I put a bullet in your head and then hunt your mate down for fun."

"I don't know where they are." He growled.

I dragged him out of the car behind a small wooded area at the park. He took off running and I opened up a hole in the ground under his feet. He fell in.

"Stop playing with your food and let's go. He's not going to talk." Niko linked me.

I walked to the edge of the hole he was laying in. "Last chance, where's my Gamma?"

Nothing, he just glared at me. I pulled the gun out, shot him in the head and used my element to fill the hole back up with dirt.

We pulled up to the marine biology and research lab which had great views of everything going on at the marina. Kosta also worked in the security business and was able to gain access to the building. Niko and I went inside to meet with Kosta who was on the rooftop looking out at something through his binoculars.

"Kosta!" I greeted him.

"Alpha." He responded and shook my hand.

"Which building are they in?"

"They're not in a building, they're on a boat." Kosta told me and handed me his binoculars. "It's the big yacht docked in the cove out there." He pointed out and I looked.

"The one named Basileus Lycaon?" I asked.

"Basileus is Greek for King!" Niko said.

"Yes, King Lycaon. Can you think of anyone who would name a yacht after him?" Kosta said.

"It would have to be a werewolf." Niko said.

"Not just any werewolf. No one from our kind would be bold enough to do something like that knowing the true descendant of King Lycaon is still alive and the most feared in all of Greece and Europe." Kosta said looking at me.

I knew in my gut what Kosta was saying. It was something I had felt deep inside, something I dreaded. Something only those closest to him might know because of the strings that tie us, the bonds are still connected. Kosta was his Beta and best friend, I was his only son.

"MY FATHER!" I growled.
