Chapter 29 - Sunset

Dimitri's POV

As a dominant Alpha male, I've never second guessed myself. It seems these days, around Raven, I was second guessing my every move.

I should have been able to claim what was mine without hesitation. The animal inside was genetically wired to understand raw sexual needs and dominance. While the human side of me wanted to make sure everything was right for Raven, who is the other half of my soul. "Did you have a good nap?" I asked.

"Dom will you be able to control yourself for a short while longer?" I asked him.

"We can take Rae for a run; would she prefer I run next to her in wolf form or follow in human form?" I asked.

We walked outside, passed the pool and into the trees. I stripped off my clothes and shifted. A small gasp escaped her as she took in the sight of Dom for the second time. I realized the first time she saw him was when he chased her down and she may have not been as focused on all the details.

She looked a little taken back and unsure. Dom was Alpha black, but much bigger than an Alpha. He could sense her fear and dropped his head down with a low whine. Raven shifted back. "This is beautiful." She smiled.

"Is it ok if I take a quick swim, I need to cool off. The run must have overheated me." She said practically panting.
