"RUN!"

After about a minute or two, chaotic footsteps suddenly echoed from the corridor.

I knew someone must have taken the right corridor.

This time, only about twenty people emerged.

As I'd expected, Emily had outsmarted herself and chosen the right corridor.

She could have been safe. She only had herself to blame for overthinking.

"Let's see how you explain this!"

Amanda was the last one out, immediately screaming without restraint.

At this point, I was too lazy to explain. I just threw up my hands in a "whatever" gesture.

Seeing me—whom she usually pushed around—suddenly act this way, Amanda rolled up her sleeves, ready to do something.

"RAWR!"

But a zombie roar from inside startled her so badly she lost her balance and fell hard.

RIIIP—her clothes tore.

"You...!"

Amanda, who always played the tough girl, nearly exploded from this public humiliation.

Her face quivered with rage, but fearing the zombies might chase out, she could only hold it in.

This ridiculous scene cracked me up.

But now wasn't the time to deal with her. The corridor was breached on both ends—soon zombies would recover.

I wasn't afraid, but I didn't want to share a room with zombies either.

This time I wasn't coerced—I actively walked outside.

The others, seeing me lead the way, didn't dare lag behind and followed.
