The Choice Chapter 12

The roadside vendor's fried dough was charred black, but the vendor had been reduced to just a severed hand.

Looking further, the scene was like hell itself.

A young mother on an electric scooter with her son was trying to escape the zombie pursuit. But dodging one meant facing countless others.

"Run!"

The mother's body still maintained a riding position, but her neck was empty.

Her child in the back seat was long gone—zombie food.

Further away I couldn't see clearly, but I vaguely heard gunshots.

Looked like quite a few people survived.

After I calmly watched for five minutes outside the gate, I was swallowed by zombies.

After that, the school completely fell. No survivors.

As for option B, I saw it when I first looked.

A van was actually parked by the school's outer wall—and it looked functional.

Through option B, I clearly knew that driving this van to the hospital was our only way out.

I'd have to use disinfectant to clear the path, but I only had two bottles. I'd need to hit a nearby supermarket first.

After making my choice, I looked at the ladder in the corner.

Amanda's sharp eyes spotted this too.

She had her simp rush ahead to grab the ladder, but before he reached the corner, a zombie from who-knows-where swallowed him.

"Ah! Zombies are closing in! Lily, hurry up and figure something out! Are you trying to kill us all?"

Watching the approaching zombies, Amanda lost control of her expression and started screaming.

The woman was insane—she wanted to drag everyone down with her.

Tyler took action, kicking her straight toward the zombies, buying me time to reach the corner.
