The Choice Chapter 13
"Ah, you!"
Amanda looked at Tyler in disbelief. She never expected the usually gentle guy to do something like this.
Harm others and you'll be harmed yourself.
I pulled out a bottle of disinfectant and poured it all around the corner, finally getting the ladder against the wall.
Then I climbed first and went over.
The school had too many zombies—one bottle of disinfectant wouldn't last long.
Less than ten students from inside managed to escape.
From a class of sixty, after the zombie attack, fewer than ten remained.
Someone who could drive sat in the driver's seat. The key was still there—they started the engine immediately.
Good thing someone had learned to drive at home. Not saying they were great, but at least better than those who'd never touched a car.
"Don't leave me! Don't leave me!"
That person had just climbed the wall, about to escape to freedom, but his smile barely formed before it froze forever.
The driver had already started moving. Usually this van could fit ten people easily.
But now with zombies on all sides, nobody wanted to wait around. The van now had only five people including me and the driver.
"Lily Bennett, hand over the disinfectant in your backpack! Now!"
The van had barely started when Derek Thompson beside me, his face full of menace, suddenly showed a fierce expression.
He pinned me against the window with one hand while trying to grab my backpack with the other.
This guy's strength was ridiculous—I couldn't resist at all.
"Give it here!"
Derek was about to succeed when Sarah Quinn in the back seized the moment and intercepted.
