The Choice Chapter 7
Was this what came from those supposedly prestigious families? Such righteousness!
Her ability to manipulate was truly unparalleled—a few words connecting her safety to everyone else's.
What a setup.
"The secretary's right. Are you going on your own, or do we need to help you?"
Amanda's grip tightened, her eyes full of threats.
Fine. I'd originally thought since we were classmates, I wouldn't go too far.
But now? They couldn't blame me.
I acted terrified, inching bit by bit toward the Science Building across from us.
The Science Building was lower than our classroom building, so this corridor roof directly faced the second-floor windows.
I didn't need any dangerous maneuvers—I smoothly entered the Science Building.
The Science Building was a lab facility, filled with the strong smell of disinfectant.
But fortunately, the entire second floor showed no signs of zombies.
Was it because of the disinfectant?
The more I thought about it, the more convinced I became. Otherwise, why would the entire school be overrun with zombies except here?
Thinking of this, I quickly filled two large bottles with disinfectant from the hallway and stuffed them in my backpack.
"Click, click, click!"
As I descended step by step toward the first floor, the disinfectant smell grew fainter.
The Science Building's first floor had two corridors, left and right.
The left corridor led to the school's main gate.
The right corridor led to the school's side entrance.
I could already foresee that once I entered the corridor and lost the disinfectant protection, I might face a zombie attack at any moment.
So I sprayed disinfectant all over myself and stood directly between the two corridor doors.
