Luna. Chapter 110
(Kael's POV)
I couldn't get enough of her.
Every time I thought I was satisfied, she'd move or sigh or whisper my name, and the hunger would roar back to life.
She was addictive. Intoxicating.
Mine.
"Again," she whispered when I tried to slow down. Give her a moment to breathe.
"Lyra, you need to rest."
"I need you."
The simple words destroyed my self-control.
I flipped her over. Heard her gasp of surprise turn into a moan of pleasure.
This position let me go deeper. Touch places that made her arch and cry out.
"Is this what you need?" I asked roughly.
"Yes. Oh God, yes."
I set a rhythm that had her gripping the sheets. Had her saying my name like a prayer.
I wanted to possess every part of her. Body and soul.
I wanted to erase every moment we'd been apart. Every night I'd dreamed of her and woken up empty.
"You're mine," I said, my voice rough with emotion. "Say it."
"I'm yours," she gasped. "Completely yours."
"Never again," I promised, my hands gripping her hips. "Never again will I let you go."
"Don't let me go," she whispered. "Please, Kael. Don't ever let me go."
The vulnerability in her voice almost broke me.
"Never," I promised. "I'd rather die."
I meant it. Every word.
This woman was my everything. My reason for breathing.
I'd spent four years trying to convince myself I could live without her.
I'd been lying to myself.
I couldn't live without her. Didn't want to.
She was part of me. The best part.
When she shattered beneath me, calling my name, I felt it in my soul.
And when I followed her over the edge, it was with the absolute certainty that this was forever.
We belonged to each other.
Nothing would ever change that again.
