Our Luna, Our Mate Chapter 163: Bonus Chapter: Elise’s Wedding

**Athena's POV**

When first approaching the Dark Moon Pack, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect. Having never been able to leave the Moon Walker Pack and only ever occasionally leaving the Mystic Shadow Pack, it was kind of refreshing to see just how Elise ran her pack.

As Dark Moon wasn’t exactly huge like ours thanks to Uncle Rick and Uncle Alex’s pack but it was still decent enough that everyone within her pack had their own separate house and according to how Elise explained it the the last time we had spoken over the phone, her pack house was only ever used for when they had guests, meetings, gatherings of any kind and the occasional pack meal.

‘Talk about impressive’ whispers Artemis, completely in awe at the way Elise’s pack looked just from an outsider's perspective.

‘Indeed’

“Athena? Oh my god, you came!” squeals a voice, causing me to turn around in surprise only to see that it was Elise who greeted me. Her face glowing in excitement and nervousness.

“Of course I came. You're getting married. I couldn’t miss that. Plus, who knows when I’ll see you next. After all, once you're married you and Ashton are off to your honeymoon” I move to say back to her, equally excited for her.

“Thanks, but we aren’t going very far. Ashton and I are only going to my family’s beach house off near the coast. Maybe someday You, Me and Cara can all go and have a girls day there” admits Elise with a blush.

“That would be cool. I’ve never been to the coast. So who’s going to watch Jayden while you're gone? I mean considering, well you know” I ask, not wanting to dampen her mood by bringing up her father.

“Oh, Um, Alex said he would actually” admits Elise.

“Alex?”

“Yeah, he said it would be a fun way for them to bond. And as much as I love my Beta, Gamma and Delta, they don’t exactly make good babysitters” laughs Elise, causing me to laugh as well.

“True, but what about Ashton’s family?” I move to ask again.

“They're busy with Ashton’s younger brother, Damian. Apparently he and Ianira just had a baby of their own and they offered to help them get settled. So Ashton and I talked and decided it wouldn’t be fair to throw in a toddler while trying to take care of a newborn.”

Now suddenly amused by this new found information, I can’t help but look around for the groom to be.

“Speaking of Ashton, where is he anyways?”

“He’s off with Alex, Ares and Eros and of course Isaac and Damian.”

“Of course, no wonder why they both ran off so suddenly once we got here.”

“Naturally, anyway, come on. Iris and the other girls are all waiting for us. We need to hurry if we want to be on time for my big moment” smiles Elise as she moves to take me to where the other girls were waiting for us.

Each of us a part of Elise’s bridal party as we each help celebrate her big day. Smiling and offering many good cheers, as I slowly move to follow her lead.

\-2 Hours Later-

“Oh my GOD Elise, you look so stunning” cries Iris, as we all move to look at Elise who is now standing in front of a mirror.

“Forget stunning. Ashton’s going to die a happy mate once he totally sees her” replies Cara, a smile now on her lips as we all continue to admire Elise on her big day.

Elise currently standing in a beautiful white chiffon, lace inspired wedding gown. The dress a trumpet-mermaid style gown with a boat neckline. The dress designed to be sleeveless while the back and sides laid open but covered by lace. Elegant white buttons going up and down the entire back.

Lace trim edging along the bottom of the dress giving it a little bit of flare for added fun, the bottom flaring into a small train giving it the last finishing touch.

Elise’s long blonde hair neatly pulled up into an elegant updo. Her hair twisted and braided with great precision before a beautiful crystal leaf inspired crown wraps around her head gently for added bling.

Eyes smokey in color to help make them pop while her lips sat in a beautiful shade of pink making everyone within the room take pause. Unable to say anything negative about her even in that given moment.

“Ashton’s going to love it”

“Definitely”

Resisting the need to blush at everyone’s comments, Elise fights for control over all her emotions. Not one to just fall apart like most girls she knew, yet couldn’t resist the feel of tears as they tried to fall from within her eyes.

‘It’s okay to cry,’ whispers Elza.

‘And ruin my makeup? I think not’ scoffs Elise to her wolf only to hear a knocking on the door.

“Yes?” calls Elise having heard the knock first.

“Hey, it's me. Are you ready?” calls a male's voice in which makes everyone within the room pause, each curious as to who was standing just outside the door.

“I’m ready, you can come in” calls Elise, now curious to see all their faces when a man who stood about 6’8 with short blonde hair and emerald green eyes moves to enter the room while wearing a crisp clean tuxedo.

“Elise, who is that?” whispers Cara, clearly unaware that the man who now stood before them was Elise’s cousin.

Alex Rees, current Alpha of the Dawnguard pack.

“Girls, I’d like for you all to meet Alex, my cousin.”

“What? He’s your cousin? The one from Dawnguard? But isn’t he still wheelchair bound?” asks Iris, clearly not up to date with paying attention to who Elise was always speaking about which earns her a chuckle from Alex himself.

“Yes, I am Dawnguards Alpha and yes, I was stuck in a wheelchair for a long time while my wolf recovered. But I also had a very, very patient mate who never gave up on me even when I wanted nothing to do with her” admits Alex, a smirk now gracing his lips as he lets it all sink in for them.

‘Whoa.. Elise’s cousin is almost taller than Ares and Eros’ I move to whisper to Artemis, still attempting to wrap my head around this male who now stood before them. Trying to understand how those two were related when they looked nothing alike.

‘You're surprised by the height thing? Alpha’s do grow up to be huge. Just depends on the gene. But if you think he’s tall now, there's an Alpha over in Mystic Pride who’s just as tall. He stands about 7 feet tall. And his name is Mason.’ chimes Artemis in a knowing tone.

‘How do you know about that? Mystic Pride isn’t even a part of our alliance let alone a part of our border’ I move to say back to her.

‘From the Omega’s. Omega’s like to talk when they think no one is listening to them. And apparently from what I overheard from them, one of them knows another Omega from the Dawnfall Pride pack. They said that Mason had gone to attend the other Alpha’s ceremony into power when he flat out rejected his mate in front of the whole entire pack including those in attendance.’

‘He what? That’s so sad’

‘Indeed. Maybe we should study up on some of the other packs not associated with us. See if any of them could use an alliance between them and us.’

‘Good idea. I’ll bring it up to Ares and Eros later on, but for now, it’s time for Elise to get married.’

‘Of course, and good luck out there. Oh and by the way, you looking stunning as a bridesmaid’

‘Thanks’

With that being the final set of words between us, we all begin to head out.

“Let’s get this show on the road” chimes Cara, as She, Addison, Iris and Krista all move to walk out first.

Glancing back over to Elise, I move to offer her a big smile.

“You’ll be magnificent out there. Ashton won’t know what hit him” I say, offering her another smile. Alex still standing next to her.

“Thanks”

“Anytime”

Then with that as my final words to her, I move to head out towards my spot among the girls. Each of us now waiting for Alex to escort his lovely cousin down the aisle and to her awaiting groom.
