**Athena’s POV**

After parting ways with Maya, do I slowly make my way towards the dining hall and to where my family would be waiting for me as I had been told by uncle specifically that I was needed to attend, as for what I had no clue just that I needed to be there or else.

‘Any idea as to why we’re needed’ I move to ask Artemis, hoping she would have an answer.

‘Unfortunately I don't’ answers Artemis as I continue on my way, unaware of all the attention I was receiving.

“My, My, look at what the cat dragged in or should I say wolf” purrs a voice, causing me to halt as I turn to see Brian who slowly saunters up to me.

“What do you want Brian?” I ask, trying hard not to cause a scene.

“What does it look like, to see you of course” smirks Brian as he moves to grip my chin, his hand now forcing me look at him as he does.

“Why?” I growl, knowing I was playing with fire as Brian grips tighter.

“Easy there, wouldn’t want me to do something drastic would you?'' glares Brian, who clearly had no problem showing me his ability which sends shivers down my spine. “N-No… I’m sorry” I whisper as I move to advert my gaze.

“Good” smirks Brian as he moves to lean forward, making sure to take in a big whiff of my scent, his smirk growing as he moves to whisper something within my ear. “You smell delicious Athena, I think tonight you and I should have some fun, don’t you? Maybe David and Shane can join us.”

At the mention of David and Shane, do I shiver, both currently next in line to be Gamma and Delta just as Brian was next in line to be Beta, making those three a powerhouse. “Please…” I whimpered, not wanting to be touched by them as Brian continued to hold my face.

“Please what” growls Brian, his grip holding tighter as he narrows his eyes.

“Please.. I’m a good girl” I tell him, hoping he would spare me tonight like he had done the day before when I spent almost the entire day decorating the ballroom.

“Mmm, except good girls are for those who listen, and you my dear are not, you're being very naughty which needs to be taught a lesson” whispered Brian, as he moves to pull away, his eyes harsh as I whimper, thankful that no one else was currently around me to see.

“Come now Athena, don’t whine, whining is for the bedroom” taunts Brian as he moves to lower his hand releasing my jaw.

“Please don’t” I whisper, trying hard to hold Artemis back, sensing her rage with wanting to come forth in order to teach Brian a lesson.

“Mmm, no” and with that he turned and walked away, leaving me in total embarrassment before I too carried on, knowing that if I was late, my uncle would amp up the punishment.

‘Stay strong little one’ whispers Artemis, just as we approach the Alpha and his family, my eyes moving to see his Gamma and Delta as well as their sons while Diana hung all over Jacob’s arm a smug look on her face as if she was causing me pain by doing so.

‘I’ll try’ is all I say just as the Alpha moves to explain that once he and his family were seated that then we would be seated according to rank in which I would be placed next to Brian and then David as he was the next Gamma followed by Shane and then their parents.

“Athena?” calls a voice.

“Yes” I ask, noticing it was the Alpha’s voice as he had turns his attention towards me.

“Did you hear me? I said you’ll be sitting with Brian and his friends” comes the Alpha’s reply making me pale, forced to shit with them while being at their mercy.

“O-Of course, Alpha” I mutter, a glare now showing on my uncle's face for not being more responsive when the Alpha spoke.

“Good girl” replies the Alpha, making me cringe. My eyes now noticing that the dining room was packed, as everyone who had gathered there was now seated, the Alpha and Luna slowly moving to enter the hall who was then followed by Jacob and Diana followed by my Uncle and his mate. Next followed the current Gamma and Delta, leaving only me, Brian, David and Shane each moving to enter last.

“Ladies first” chuckles Brian as he nudges me forward my head held down as I slowly made my way towards the table unaware of eyes that had slowly began to watch me from afar as I gently move to take my seat, Brian sitting on one side of me while Shane and David took the other side of me.

Once seated, does Brian discreetly move to place his hand on top of my thigh, my insides cringing as Shane moves to do the same, Artemis growling from deep inside my head.

‘Pigs’ growls Artemis only to pause when something catches her attention causing her to sniff our surroundings.

‘Mates’ purrs Artemis, Brian and his group forgotten as she moves to pick up the faint smell of Chocolate along with Caramel and slight Ocean Breeze a hint of Coffee mingling as well.

‘Mates?’ I ask, keeping my head turned towards my family as I dare not look for those delicious smells, afraid that they would reject me before giving me a chance. ‘Yes, mates.. The Moon Goddess has given us two’ answers Artemis, wanting nothing more than her mates.

‘Oh my’ is all I can say as I move to think of what it would be like to have two mates instead of one.

“What are you thinking about?” whispers Brian as he gently squeezed my thigh having noticed a blush along my cheeks.

“N-Nothing” I whispered back, hoping he wouldn’t ask me again.

“You're lying” says Brian, as he grips tighter, making me uncomfortable as he did.

“I-I’m not” I say softly, not wanting others to hear me.

“Mmm..” is all he says as he moves to slide his hand higher, his hand pushing my dress up slightly, thankful no one else could see from where we were sitting or that of our position at the table.

Feeling where the hand was do I cringe, a part of me wanting to flee but knowing I couldn’t without embarrassing the Alpha of our pack.

‘I’m going to rip off his fucking hand’ growls Artemis within a fury.

‘No, you can’t. You’ll only get me into more trouble’ I tell her, not wanting her to do that as another hand slides higher, more higher than Brian’s, the hand now touching my pussy as it does, my eyes searching for the owner only to see Shane who smirks, almost as if he was enjoying himself. Remembering a time when Shane and David use to be nice to me before everything changed.

‘Don’t be fooled by appearances’ reminds Artemis who knew they couldn’t be trusted because under all pretense they were still wolves and like all wolves they had urges.

‘I know’ I mutter remembering when I first met Shane, it was during my freshman year of High School and he was the nicest person I had known, his 6’2 frame with honey brown eyes and golden blonde hair with an athletic body made him the perfect eye candy whereas David stood 6’3 and had chestnut brown hair and hazel brown eyes with a semi-toned body, the perfect combination of the two as both would sit and talk with me, that was until the rumors started, then everything changed.

“Your spacing” growls Brian who frowns, not liking the way my behavior was going at the table, causing me to snap away from my thoughts.

“Sorry” I quickly said, knowing that I needed to escape and soon.

“Not as sorry as you're going to be when we get ahold of you” whispers Brian with a growl causing me to jump up from my seat, my sudden movement now catching the eyes of the Alpha.

“Is everything okay my child?” asks the Alpha, having seen me jump as did the eyes of those who were probably my mates as they carefully watched for my reaction.

“Yes I’m okay, I just remembered that I need to check on something” I say, hoping he wouldn’t ask anything further, my eyes now on my uncle’s displeased face.

“Can it wait? Where about to have desert” asks the Alpha unaware that I had missed 2 of the 3 main meals all thanks to Brian.

“No I’m sorry my Alpha but it’s important, but I promise though that you’ll see me tomorrow at the nights ball” I say as I move to take my leave, hoping that my mates wouldn’t follow as I move to exit the room. Brian, Shane and David each moving to follow, all thanks to my uncle, who was clearly angry with me by my sudden behavior with tonight's dinner.
