Alpha Cameron's Vengeful Mate Chapter 12: Alpha Cameron's Vengeful Mate

“Alpha Cameron is not going to like this at all,” he says. 

“I don’t think he’ll care. He won’t be the first mate to not give a damn about me. I’m strong and can take care of myself, so no need to tell him.” 

“But he would want to know. Do they treat everyone this way or just you?” 

“Only me. It is my punishment for not allowing them to take my money, being able to defy Alpha commands and the pettiest reason of all, that I’m more beautiful than their daughter.” I laughed humorlessly. 

“Wow, what is wrong with these people?”  

“They are vain.” 

“Were there others involved or just the Alpha family?”  

“The entire pack contributed to my beatings. I’ll get my revenge one day though.” 

Just then, the door bangs open and standing on the other side is my Alpha mate breathing heavily with black eyes. Instead of feeling fear, I smiled at him and continued to close my bag and take a look around the room making sure I gathered all of my toiletries and anything else that I wanted to take with me. 

“What’s his problem?” I asked Talon. 

“I don’t know,” he says to me. “Uh, Alpha, are you okay?” he asks my mate. 

“What did you say about getting revenge?” he asks me. 

“It doesn’t matter. I’ll handle it when I’m able. Are you ready to go?” I ask while grabbing my bag and pushing past him out the door heading downstairs. 

When I reach the bottom, I ran right into Amelia, who looked pissed. 

“I bet you think you’re something because you’re Alpha Cameron’s mate, but he’ll kill you just like he did the others. You’re nothing special, and I’ve told you that plenty of times, but now you’re going to finally see it for yourself.” I smirked at her before grabbing her by the hair and pulling her outside.  

She screamed in pain as I tossed her to the hard ground before dropping my bag. I wait for her to get up, and she charges at me and when she gets close enough, I kick her in the stomach, sending her flying a few feet away from me. Others came outside and watched as she went sailing through the air and landed hard on the ground. Before she could get up, I ran to where she had landed and picked her up with one hand, and punched her square in the face, sending her flying yet again. 

“And you call yourself an Alpha?” I said to her. “I thought your mother said I was lying to get attention. Prove her right by showing everyone here that I am the inferior one of the two of us.” I get into a defensive stance waiting for her to attack, but she never does. “Pathetic,” I said before turning to go back to my bag.  

One of her friends comes up behind me and I turn to attack them while another attacks me from the side and while I am holding my own fighting them both, my shirt gets ripped as one of them uses their claws to try and scratch me. There was some noise from the crowd while we were fighting, but now everyone was quiet as my mate and his Beta went outside. I hear an intake of breath as someone gasps while a thunderous growl leaves my mate, causing everyone but me to submit. Alpha Conrad and Luna Stephanie both go pale as ghosts and I see fear on their faces as well as on the faces of the girls that attacked me. My wolf smirks inside my head and so do I. 

I was grabbed and spun around to face a very angry Alpha Cameron. Beta Talon was standing near one of the SUVs that was out there putting bags into the back and there were ten men behind him that I hadn’t seen. Where did they come from? I wonder. He shakes me to get my attention and I look up into his eyes.  

“Who did this to you?” he asks me. 

“Can we just go?” I asked him. 

“Not until you tell me how you got these scars on your back,” he says, and I can tell it is his wolf speaking now. My wolf surges forward before I can stop her and answers her mate. 

“They did this to us. The entire pack was involved, but mostly the Alpha family. They beat us, whipped us, starved us, put us in the dungeon, and on certain occasions they used knives and whips dipped in silver, which is why there are scars left.” she tells him. “*Damnit Silver! You weren’t supposed to tell him anything.”* I screamed at her inside my head. 

“They will pay for hurting my mate,” he says. 

**Cameron’s POV** 

“They will pay for hurting my mate,” says my wolf. I don’t know why he is so fascinated with this girl other than the fact that she is our mate. I’d be lying if I said she wasn’t the most beautiful woman I’d ever seen and her rack and ass are sensational, but I’m not looking for a mate. When I said that I didn’t want a mate, I meant it, and he knows this, so why is he making a big fuss over this girl?
