Alpha Cameron's Vengeful Mate Chapter 55: Alpha Cameron's Vengeful Mate
Months have passed since Cameron told me what happened to my parents, and it took everything in me not to go on a rampage and kill everyone in that god awful pack, starting with Conrad. He would die a slow and painful death for what he did and so will everyone involved. All of this out of greed. My parents possibly would have helped him if he wasn’t such a dirty rat. Training and spending time with Cameron seems to be the only thing that keeps me sane these days. My mind has to stay occupied otherwise thoughts of ending them all creep int my mind and I must admit, those dark thoughts make me happy.
Cameron and I have been slowly developing our mate bond, but we haven’t been intimate yet. I still want to hold on to that piece of myself until I’m certain he wants me for me. We’ve gone on dates and sat at home and talked getting to know one another better. He has been very respectful of my decision though I can feel through our bond that he is starting to get frustrated having to wait. He usually just goes for a run and then takes a shower. If I’m honest, I’m tired of waiting for that part myself but I refuse to give in to my urges. My wolf is not happy about my decision either, but she has gotten me into enough already. I can still remember our first date though. It was so perfect.
The Moonlit Walk
Cameron invited me on a walk under the full moon. The air was crisp, and the stars shone brightly above. We strolled through the forest, our footsteps quiet on the forest floor.
I felt a sense of ease with Cameron that I hadn't experienced with him since we knew we were mates. We talked about everything and nothing, our conversation flowing like a gentle stream.
As we walked, Cameron pointed out constellations, sharing stories about the myths behind them. I listened, captivated by his passion and knowledge. We reached a clearing, and Cameron stopped, looking at me with a soft smile. "I'm glad we're doing this," he said, his voice low and gentle. I didn’t know he had it in him to be so gentle and romantic after how he treated me in the beginning.
My heart skipped a beat. "Me too," I replied, my voice barely above a whisper.
Cameron took my hand, his touch sending shivers down my spine. We stood there, hands entwined, looking up at the stars. The moment was magical, filled with possibility. I felt a connection with Cameron that I just couldn't ignore anymore.
A week after our first date, there was a full moon ceremony to welcome me as the Luna of the pack. There aren’t Luna ceremonies, but Cameron said he wanted to do this to make sure everyone knew without a doubt that I was his mate and Luna of the pack. He didn’t want to have any more incidents like what happened with Trinity.
The Full Moon Ceremony
The night of the full moon, the pack gathered at the sacred clearing. Tiyanna stood before them, Cameron by her side. The moon hung low in the sky, casting a silver glow over the assembly.
Elder Rachel, a wise and respected member of the pack, stepped forward. "We gather tonight to welcome Tiyanna as our new Luna," she said, her voice strong and clear. "Tonight, we celebrate her strength, courage, and dedication to our pack."
The pack members cheered and applauded, their faces filled with warmth and approval. Tiyanna smiled, feeling a sense of belonging she hadn't known in a long time.
Cameron placed a hand on her shoulder, his touch sending a surge of comfort and support through her. Together, they faced the pack, their bond growing stronger with each passing moment.
As the ceremony progressed, the pack members shared stories and words of welcome. Tiyanna listened, her heart full of gratitude and love.
The climax of the ceremony came when Elder Rachel presented Tiyanna with a beautifully crafted necklace adorned with a silver moonstone. "This symbolizes your role as Luna," she said. "May you guide our pack with wisdom and compassion."
Tiyanna accepted the gift, feeling a sense of pride and responsibility. She looked at Cameron, and he smiled, his eyes shining with admiration.
The pack erupted into cheers and applause once more, and the celebration began. Music and laughter filled the night air as the pack members came together to welcome Tiyanna as their new Luna.
Now I’m sitting in his office going over business for our businesses and pack as well as trying to figure out how to deal with Alpha Conrad and the rebels that are out to take down my mate. Fools! Do they really think they can take down the most powerful Alpha and his pack? They have to be on some kind of drugs. They’ll all be slaughtered. Mostly I’m looking forward to ripping Alpha Conrad apart. He’s mine to kill!
Author’s POV
As Tiyanna and Cameron sat down to discuss their plan, they knew they had to take down the rebels and her former Alpha. Cameron's eyes locked onto Tiyanna's, and he could see the determination burning within her.
"I'll help you take down your former Alpha," Cameron said, his voice firm. "But first, we need to deal with the rebels. They're getting bolder, and I have reason to believe Trinity is involved."
Tiyanna's eyes narrowed. "What makes you think that?"
Cameron leaned forward. "I've been investigating some strange occurrences around the pack. I found a hidden message that suggests Trinity has been working with the rebels."
Tiyanna's anger simmered just below the surface. "If she's working with them, it's likely she's the one who's been feeding them information about us."
Cameron's face hardened. "We'll get to the bottom of this. Together."
As they began to formulate their plan, Tiyanna couldn't help but feel a spark of hope. Maybe, just maybe, she could finally get the revenge she sought.
Later that evening, during a pack meeting, a dispute arose between pack members, brothers Jax and Kai. Jax, a skilled hunter, had been tasked with providing meat for the pack's upcoming gathering. However, Kai, who had been struggling with his own hunting skills, felt that Jax was hogging the best hunting grounds and not giving others a chance. The tension between them simmered until it boiled over at a pack meeting.
"You're always taking the best spots for yourself," Kai accused, his voice rising. "You're holding us back."
Jax's face reddened. "I'm just trying to provide for the pack," he said, his voice defensive. "You're not even trying."
Cameron and Tiyanna exchanged a concerned glance. This wasn't just about hunting grounds; it was about sibling rivalry and frustration.
"Let's talk about this," Cameron said, stepping in. "We can find a solution that works for everyone."
Tiyanna nodded. "Jax, Kai, let's hear both sides and work together to find a compromise."
After listening to both perspectives, they came up with a plan to rotate hunting grounds and provide training for those who needed it. Jax agreed to mentor Kai, and the pack members began to work together more harmoniously.
As the issue was resolved, Cameron and Tiyanna shared a look of satisfaction. They had worked together seamlessly, and their bond had grown stronger.
