Alpha Cameron's Vengeful Mate Chapter 35: Alpha Cameron's Vengeful Mate

After leaving the dining hall, I stormed off toward my office to deal with Trinity. How the hell did this day lead to my mate rejecting me? I know that I said I didn’t want one but that didn’t mean I wanted her to reject me. “What did you think would happen when you kept telling her that you didn’t want her? Stupid human. I swear if you make that slut our Luna I’ll make it to where you can never get hard again. Get our mate back!” my wolf growls at me before receding to the back of my mind. Is there anyone that isn’t mad at me? 

Stepping into my office, I see Trinity sitting on my desk with her legs crossed. The important papers underneath her are all scattered now and it took me forever to get them in order earlier, so seeing them all over my desk now only fuels my rage. She is either too stupid or just doesn’t care about the waves of anger rolling off of me in this instant, because she stupidly gets off of my desk and walks over to me wrapping her hands around my waist. Instantly, I push her away from me hard enough to where she stumbles back. 

“Cameron, what’s wrong?” She says to me with a shocked expression on her face. 

“First of all, never touch me without permission, and second, you are to address me as Alpha or Alpha Cameron and nothing else. Do I make myself clear?” Giggling she stands up straight before smiling at me in what she believes is a seductive smile and slowly walks towards me again. 

“Oh honey, she really has you all upset. Well, you can’t blame her really. I mean after being in that disgusting pack and now being a rogue, you can’t expect her to have much manners. Everyone knows that the Red Dawn pack wasn’t a very prestigious one. Cameron, darling, why don’t we go up to your room and I’ll help you release some of this tension.” she says to me and I see red. 

Grabbing her by the neck, I slam her into the nearest wall and lift her off the floor. Her legs are dangling in the air as her hands claw at my hands trying to loosen my grip. I growl menacingly at her and watch as her face slowly starts to turn blue. When she is just about to pass out, I drop her to the floor gasping for air. Looking at her on the floor, all I can think about is how my mate rejected me because she couldn’t keep her mouth shut and stay away from her as I instructed. 

“Do you have a hearing problem? You must, because I know that I just told you to address me as Alpha or Alpha Cameron and you called me by my name not even a minute later. As a matter of fact, I need to call a meeting to address some matters. Get up and follow me!” 

I leave my office and go in search of my mate. Heading to her room, I see her standing in the hallway talking to Caroline. They both look at me when I approach and while Caroline has a look of disappointment and anger on her face, my mate’s eyes look almost dead. I’m fixing this right now. “Both of you follow me to the meeting room. There are some matters I think need to be addressed and are way overdue. Caroline, link Talon and tell him to assemble everyone and meet us there. I’ve had enough.” I growl as I storm off towards the meeting room. I can hear them following behind me and when I meet up with Trinity, I grab her arm roughly and practically pull her alongside me. 

Once we reach the meeting room, Talon is already there along with my gamma, Eric, and my mother and sister. They all look at me with confusion on their faces, but when they see Trinity, their faces turn to looks of disgust. I don’t have time to address that at the moment because more important things need to be dealt with now. Murmurs can be heard throughout the crowd as they gather wondering what this meeting is about and if anyone is in trouble after the fight they witnessed.  

Once everyone is gathered, I look out into the crowd and take a deep breath before starting the meeting. 

“I know that you are all wondering why we are having this meeting and it is simple. In the past few days, it has come to my attention that maybe I’ve become too relaxed with you all. Do I not keep you all safe, fed, clothed, sheltered, and prosperous? Do I not care for all of you as a family?” I pause and listen as they all either speak or nod their agreement. “Then tell me why you all feel that challenging my authority is a good choice. Do you still value your lives?” A resounding ‘Yes Alpha’ and ‘We would never challenge you’ is heard around the room.
