Alpha Cameron's Vengeful Mate Chapter 23: Alpha Cameron's Vengeful Mate

There were three other doors in the room and I concluded that one was the en suite bathroom and the other was the walk-in closet but what was the third door. As if reading my mind, Caroline told me that this room and the Alpha’s room were adjoined and that door leads to his but it stays locked and only he has the key so I’ll be fine. I simply nodded and went to one of the chairs and sat down tiredly.  

“I’ll let you shower and relax but if you need me just get in touch with Talon and ‘ll be right back.” she says to me. 

“Umm about that. How would I get in touch with anyone here? I can’t mind-link since I’m not a pack member and I don’t have anyone’s number.” I say to her. 

“Oh. I don’t think anyone thought about that part.” She looks around the room until she finds a pad an pen, then she begins to write. ”Here is my number and you can call or text if you need something.” she says. 

“I hope Talon knows how lucky he is to have his mate. You seem like a good person. Then again what do I know. I thought my Alpha and Luna were good people until they weren’t and my first mate rejected me for power.” I shake my head at the thought not realizing what I just said. 

“Your first mate?” she asks. It doesn’t surprise me that she caught that part. “You mean you have another mate? Who is it?” she asks excitedly. 

“Yeah, I had a mate but he rejected me for my former best friend who was the daughter of the Alpha and Luna. As for my second mate, he hasn’t rejected me officially yet, but he doesn’t want me either it seems.” I say making sure not to let anything else slip out due to me being exhausted. “Caroline, I don’t mean to be rude but I’d really love to shower and change before dinner. I’ll text you if I decide to come down for dinner or if I need anything.” I give her a smile that I hope is telling her I’m fine but tired and she looks at me a few seconds before she smiles back. 

“You’re right, I should get going. I need to make sure Talon doesn’t have his clothes all over the room. That man acts like he can’t put his clothes in the hamper.” she laughs and I laugh a little before she finally turns and leaves. 

Once she finally leaves, I head into the bathroom and lock the door before stripping and turning on the water in the shower. There are three shower heads and I can’t wait to get inside. As the water heats up, I go to the sink and look at myself in the mirror. My eyes are stormy silver which means that my wolf is close to the surface and I can feel that she is looking with me. My hair is long and dirty after the fighting that happened today but still shiny and full, my body is toned and curvy with wide hips and thick thighs, a nice round ass and double D full breasts. In my opinion, I’m gorgeous so that can’t be the reason he doesn’t want me. I saw the lust in his eyes when he looked me up and down at my old pack house. Maybe it’s the fact that I don’t obey him. “If that’s the problem then it is his problem. We are never bowing to another man or Alpha again.” says my wolf. I simply nod in agreement before turning and going back to the shower. The water is warm and I step in letting the water hit my body from all three angles of the shower heads rinsing the dirt from my body and hair before grabbing the shampoo that is on the shower caddy and washing my hair. I don’t care for the strawberry scent but it’ll do for tonight. Then I wash my body and rinse off before getting out and grabbing one towel to wrap around my hair and another to dry off with before wrapping around my body and leaving the bathroom. 

When I walk into the bedroom, I’m startled by a woman sitting on my bed with her legs crossed. I don’t know who she is but she smells like my mate and that has my wolf at attention. “Calm down Silver.” 

“So, you’re the one everyone is talking about tonight. My name is Trinity and I’m the future Luna of this pack. Can you tell me what you’re doing in my room?” She asks with a fake smile on her face. 

“How the hell should I know? I was told this was my room for the night, but if you have a problem then I suggest you talk to the Alpha.” I say without the fakeness. We’re not going to pretend to like each other and I made sure she knew that by my response. It worked, because that fake smile left her face and her true nature came out. 

“I don’t need to consult with him on anything. Take your shit and get out of my room before you contaminate it with whatever disease you rogues have.” 

“Look, I don’t have a problem taking another room because being next to you or your Alpha isn’t something that I want, but watch your tone talking to me. You’re not my future Luna.” I growl low at her. This bitch has no idea who she’s messing with and my wolf is ready to rip her throat out. 

“You’re in my pack and therefore I’m the authority here...” I cut her off. 

“I am in Alpha Cameron’s pack and he is the only authority I have to listen to at the moment. You said yourself that you are the future Luna, meaning you are not the current Luna. I tell you what darlin, if I ever come back by here and you’ve made Luna, I’ll gladly see you as an authority figure but until then don’t think I will let you try to intimidate me.” I say to her. 

“Why you little...” she raises gets off the bed and walks up to me with her hand raised to hit me and I dodge her using her momentum to push her and she hits the dresser.
