Alpha Cameron's Vengeful Mate Chapter 16: Alpha Cameron's Vengeful Mate

“One, you can fight in both ways. Two, there will be no cheating of any kind and by cheating, I mean using any means other than hand-to-hand or wolf form. No outside weapons of any kind will be used. My Luna has to be able to defend herself at any time and sometimes weapons are not available. The third and final rule is that this will be a fight to the death. This is not a submission fight as Tiyanna is no longer a part of the Red Dawn pack,” he says, and everyone gasps. 

“What?!” screamed Amelia and her parents. 

“Alpha Cameron, that is absurd. If we had known this wasn’t a submission fight, then we never would have agreed to this at all.” 

“Why wouldn’t you have agreed? She is the daughter of an Alpha and surely can defeat a Beta. If she wants to be my mate, and you all want to become my ally, then she will go on with this fight. Otherwise...” he waves at Talon, who nods before I see his eyes glaze over, and shortly after, the warriors with gas cans start to move through the pack. 

“This is blackmail!” screams Alpha Conrad. 

“Is it? Let us see.” He turns to the other Alphas before he speaks again. “Do any of my fellow Alphas think this is blackmail? I mean, would any of you want an Alpha female that can’t defeat a mere Beta that has never been trained before, in a fight?” He asks and all of them start to shake their heads no as they murmur to themselves. “You see, they all agree that this is fair. Now, no more stalling or that barbecue I mentioned earlier will be your punishment for going back on this deal. 

“Fine!” says Alpha Conrad. 

“Father! How can you agree to this? I am the future Alpha of this pack. What happens if something happens to me?” she whines. 

“You should be able to easily defeat me, Amelia. I mean you and your parents have said how weak I am for years, right? You all took turns beating me up and never allowing me to train. Granted, you all jumped me when you beat me and I never fought back because then your dear old daddy would torture me in that damn dungeon. Prove them right and do what you claim you’ve always wanted to do which is to kill me.” I said to her before turning my gaze to Mark. “Mark, you’ve been awfully quiet. Are you really going to let your girlfriend go so easily? You rejected me for her and the Alpha position, yet here she is once again going after my mate. Looks like you’re destined to lose.” I couldn’t help but taunt him. I can feel the anger rolling off both of them as I smirk. My mate clears his throat and says it is time to fight. 

“Ready?” he says and we both take our stances again. “FIGHT!” he bellows and we both run at each other. 

The fight begins, and we are both pretty evenly matched, dodging each other’s attacks and only landing a few blows here and there. My wolf is screaming at me to stop playing with her and take her out, but I don’t want to end her too quickly. We keep going this way with more punches and kicks starting to hit their marks. I narrowly miss a punch to my right cheek, but it lands on my shoulder and throws me a bit off balance, and she takes the opportunity to land another punch to my stomach. It hurts, but I regain my balance and duck a punch, then sweep her feet and while she stumbles, I elongate my claws and swipe at her chest. My claws shredded her shirt and shrieked, saying something about that being her favorite workout shirt. We’re in the middle of a death match, and she is worrying about her shirt. Is this girl serious? 

She charges at me and throws a series of punches to my face that I manage to block and when I see an opening, I swipe at her again and this time my claws rake across her face and a blood-curdling scream leaves her mouth. Blood pours from her wound and there are louder gasps and murmurs from everyone around us. Nobody expected me to be as strong or skilled as I am and that makes me and my wolf smile. 

“My face! You bitch! I’m going to kill you for that.” She screams before turning into her jet-black wolf and charging at me. 

I laugh as she charges at me and when she’s close enough, I slide under her and let my claws slide across her underbelly, spilling more blood. The wound is fatal and we both know it, but her wolf tries hard to heal her. Without the help of a doctor, she would definitely die, but the use of a doctor is out as this is indeed a death match. The Alpha and Luna scream as their daughter transforms back into her human form bleeding profusely. 

“Someone, get the doctor!” screams the Luna and someone starts to run but my mate speaks up.
