Alpha Cameron's Vengeful Mate Chapter 18: Alpha Cameron's Vengeful Mate

“Because we used to be like sisters, and because my parents gave their lives for yours, I am going to extend you a curtsey that you would not have given me had you won. I’m going to make this quick so that you do not suffer more than you already are and I hope that you know I really loved you as my friend and sister and it hurt when you betrayed me after my parents died.” 

“F...f...f-forgive me please Yanna. I lo-loved you too. It doesn’t hurt so much anymore. Yanna, I’m so cold. Hurry, so that you are not punished. So-so-so much I want to tell you but it is too late.” she says and her heart beat slows even more so I grab her face in my hands and quickly twist effectively breaking her neck and her body slumps.  

There is silence all around us before I hear a loud scream and at first, I believe it is her father until strong arms grab me and pull me away from her body. Tears are streaming down my face and I realize that the scream came from me and that I am crying. As I’m sniffling, the scent of the person holding me hits my nose and I know that it is Talon. He scoops me up and walks back towards my mate and stands there with me in his arms. I bury my face in his shirt as my body is rocked with grief. This startles me because I didn’t expect to have this reaction to killing her. 

“Now that the fight is officially over, we have just one more thing to do before we leave.” says my mate. 

“What more could you possibly have to do here? You’ve killed my mate and daughter you bastard!” shouts Alpha Conrad. 

“Well, there is the part about what happens to the loser to discuss or did you forget? You people seem to forget the rules or maybe you simply think that they do not apply to you.” says my mate and I can feel the anger rolling off of him in waves at the disrespect from Alpha Conrad. 

“I think losing my mate and daughter is enough punishment. Leave us alone to grieve.” he shouts. 

“Given that you’ve just lost your family, I will disregard the disrespect that you keep showing to me but understand that I will only tolerate so much. Keep that in mind going forward. I’ve decided that since you’ve lost so much today that I’ll use that as punishment but if you ever cross me in the future or try to retaliate against my mate, I’ll come back and annihilate every single one of you. Coincidentally, that was going to be your punishment for how you and your miserable pack have treated her, but this is fine for now. Besides, she seems to need some rest after today’s events. Alphas, it has been a pleasure and I’ll see you at the Alpha summit. Talon, lets go home.” I hear him say before I’m being moved only now, I feel sparks on my arms as Talon transfers me to Alpha Cameron. 

He starts to walk and then he places me into the backseat of the SUV before he gets in as well. Talon gets into the front seat with the driver and once everyone is inside their respective vehicles, the driver takes off with the other following behind. Cameron lays my head on his lap and starts to stroke my long hair and the feeling soothes me much to my surprise. Neither of us speaks as the motion of the vehicle and him stroking my hair slowly lulls me to sleep. 

“Don’t worry my little mate. This is only the beginning of their hell.” I hear him say before I completely drift off to sleep. 

Alpha Conrad’s POV 

“That bitch and her mate killed my family and just left like they did nothing wrong. I'm going to make them pay for what they’ve done. Cameron thinks that he is untouchable, but I’m going to show him how wrong he is because now he has a weakness.” I say to myself as I sit in my office with a drink in front of me. My Beta has been busy setting up the funeral ceremony for my wife and daughter, as I cannot bring myself to see their bodies yet. The way that girl just ripped my lovely mate’s heart from her chest with no remorse is still imprinted in my mind. As if that wasn’t enough, she broke my beautiful daughter’s neck. At least she had the decency to cry after she killed her. I’m going to make her to do more than cry when I get my hands on her again. She may think that she is safe with her mate, but that is far from the truth. What they don’t know is that a rebellion to take him out has been in the works for a while, but I only stayed out of it in order to possibly become allies, now that is out of the window, he is my enemy for what happened.
