Teddy paused for a moment, finally realizing his boss was referring to the board meeting time.

He quickly glanced at his watch. "Five minutes left."

"There's still time. Why are you rushing?" Julian replied coolly.

With that single remark, Teddy swallowed all his prepared arguments.

Five minutes later, Julian arrived punctually in the meeting room. Percy gave him a resentful look.

Julian extended his palm in a welcoming gesture to everyone. "Please, speak freely about your concerns."

And so they did.

Mindful of Julian's position, they spoke politely, but their underlying tone was clearly accusatory.

Julian listened patiently throughout, showing no irritation or pulling rank. He even wore a faint smile as he took out his phone and dialed a number.

Everyone wondered what he was doing and watched him intently.

The call connected quickly.

Julian asked, "What's the situation there?"

Suddenly, the meeting room fell completely silent, all eyes fixed on Julian's phone.

The person on the phone spoke, "Mr. Tudor, George rushed back to the company after receiving the call. He met with Caden at the Capulet Group. We don't know what they discussed initially, but they soon began arguing.

"Caden said that at this point, the only solution was a marriage alliance between the Capulet and Price families, to show everyone their partnership was unbreakable.

"George said that was impossible. Business is business. He wouldn't marry the Price daughter for a project under any circumstances.

"When Caden felt cornered, he threatened to terminate their cooperation if there was no marriage.

"George stood firm, saying he wouldn't be threatened, then stormed out. The meeting ended badly."

"Thank you for your work." Julian acknowledged, then ended the call.

The people in the meeting room were shocked, staring at Julian in disbelief. He had informants reporting private conversations from someone else's office?

But that wasn't the main point. What mattered was the information reported.

Everyone had seen Hazel's announcement that the Capulet-Price marriage alliance was a done deal. How could there be such a dramatic reversal?

If they continued with the mortgage, retrieving loans from the abandoned project would be nearly impossible.

Now, no one dared to speak.

Julian coolly swept his gaze across the room, finally resting on Percy with an icy tone. "Mr. Adams, do you have any other questions?"

Under this death stare, Percy couldn't speak, his face turning red.

Julian flashed a cold smile, as if Percy wasn't even worth his consideration.

Then Julian stood and left the meeting room.

The group of executives finally breathed a sigh of relief, patting their chests.

They were all seasoned veterans with their own commanding presence, yet before Julian, their authority seemed to evaporate.

This young Julian had effortlessly defused the crisis with minimal effort.

Teddy was incredibly excited. He had been nervous for his boss earlier.

Following Julian into his office, he immediately asked: "Mr. Tudor, did you anticipate this outcome? How did you know George wouldn't cooperate?"

It seemed almost supernatural.

Julian explained, "George is naturally strong-willed and proud. The more pressure applied, the more he resists. If he were willing to marry into the Price family for a project now, he would have done so seven years ago during the Capulet Group's financial crisis, rather than defying all pressure to publicly marry Louisa."

Teddy nodded in sudden understanding. His boss's analysis of the situation and human nature was truly profound.

But then Teddy looked at his boss with shocked disbelief. "Publicly? Mr. Tudor, are you saying that seven years ago, George married Ms. Forbes? So they're actually husband and wife?"

Julian paused slightly, his tone seemingly casual. "Did I say that?"

Didn't he? Teddy fell silent.

He was still processing this shocking revelation.

Then he caught his boss's cold, warning glance.

Teddy shuddered and quickly shook his head. "No, you didn't say anything. I didn't hear anything."

Though he didn't understand how George and Louisa were married or how his boss knew about it, with years of workplace experience, he knew when to keep quiet. Survival came first.

He immediately prepared to leave.

"Wait." Julian stopped him.

Teddy turned back. "Mr. Tudor, do you need anything else?"

Julian thought for a moment. "Send two people to secretly watch Vivian."

He worried that George's refusal to be forced into marriage might enrage Vivian, causing her to do something to Louisa.

Meanwhile, Louisa hadn't thought that far ahead.

She returned to her own home.

She figured George would be too busy to bother her now, allowing her to peacefully get through these final days.

However, while she wanted peace, someone else had different plans.

The next day, before she even woke up, Hazel called her.

Louisa didn't want to answer. She silenced the phone and shoved it under her pillow.

But the constant vibration disrupted her sleep.

Louisa finally answered coldly, "Ms. Gray, what do you want now?"

Hazel replied, "There are some unclear points in our previous agreement. Come meet me so we can sign a supplementary document."

Louisa instantly became alert.

Just days ago, Hazel had made a big scene trying to avoid the $3 billion compensation fee.

She hadn't given in to Hazel's demands, and now Hazel wanted to discuss the contract again?

Louisa laughed coldly. "Is a meeting really necessary? Your lawyer can contact my lawyer for this."

Hazel immediately became angry. "Louisa, you raised the amount from $2 billion to $3 billion, and now you're being difficult when I ask you to sign an updated agreement? I'm telling you, you must come in person. I'll be waiting at the Dawnlight Club."
