"Why did it take Nina?!"

Daniel was on the verge of losing his mind. The mercenary captain stayed calmer.

The captain stepped forward, pressed Daniel's shoulders, and reassured him, "Don't panic. We all saw clearly. That python had no intention of harming Nina.

"It showed no malice toward her at all."

On the contrary, Nina had tugged and pulled at it so much. Yet the snake hadn't fought back.

Everyone present could tell Nina faced no danger from that python.

Bystanders saw it clearly and stayed rational. But Daniel and Amelia couldn't relax no matter what.

"Quick! We have to find those two pythons!"

Daniel insisted on pursuing without question.

As he chased, he grew incredibly frustrated and suspicious.

Pythons that large shouldn't be so agile.

Yet those two moved like they were almost supernatural.

The group still tracked Nina's trail. But Nina was already far away from them.

"Sunny, I wanna throw up."

Nina felt carsick from the bumpy ride on the giant python's back.

She announced she would throw up without giving the python any warning.

The next second, she did!

Sunny tossed her off its back—it was practically at its wits' end.

At the critical moment, the brown python arrived and rubbed against it soothingly.

The two pythons stared at Nina together.

Nina felt a bit wronged after vomiting. She opened her plump arms toward them. "Hug me."

The two pythons couldn't hug her.

Nina didn't get her hug. She sat to the side, feeling aggrieved with teary eyes.

They maintained this strangely harmonious standoff.

Nina, without comfort, rubbed her eyes and sniffled. She gave herself an out.

"Nina hug you."

Nina toddled over on short legs. After hugging both pythons, she couldn't hold back anymore. "Where Daddy? I find Daddy!"

Nina asked the two pythons for Benjamin. She even gestured to show them her father.

"So big! Daddy so big! Tall... pretty face! Nina so pretty." While describing Benjamin, Nina couldn't resist praising herself too.

Her earnest gestures and babbling somehow managed to get her point across to the two pythons eventually.

Especially that brown python—it actually saw Benjamin.

Earlier that very day, it had encountered Benjamin.

Benjamin lay injured and unconscious. It had considered swallowing him. But for some reason, it felt inexplicable danger. So it didn't.

Now, seeing Nina searching for her daddy, the brown python didn't hesitate. It led Nina straight there.

Dumping this terrifying baby on her father would free it! A great deal!

Sunny carried Nina on its back again and slithered deeper into the jungle.

The brown python accompanied it.

Two giant pythons moving together looked downright eerie.

Yet Nina, riding on the python, felt no fear at all.

"Sunny, I'm Nina! I go school. I like Lucy. I have tears. Mommy buy lots backpacks! Sunny, you go school?"

Nina's little mouth chattered nonstop. Neither the python responded. But she talked enthusiastically anyway.

Finally, Nina touched her mouth.

She told the two pythons. "I drink water."

The two giant pythons had no way to get her clean water.

The brown python thought for a moment. It fetched a branch of fruit for her.

These fruits growing here looked plain. But they tasted somewhat sweet with plenty of juice.

Nina held the fruit in both plump hands and ate big bites.

She always ate in large mouthfuls.

At home, when the family fed her, they gave her big bites too.

After all, Nina often got distracted by eating. Adults fed quickly and generously so she wouldn't eat too little.

One branch had four or five fruits. Nina ate only two and stopped. She saved the rest for Benjamin and Chloe!

"Sunny, I want Daddy!"

After eating, Nina flopped her plump little body onto Sunny. She asked for Benjamin again.

Sunny had already moved fast.

To shake off this little chubby one sooner, Sunny used its fastest speed!

Time passed. Nina fell asleep sprawled on Sunny. Finally, Sunny reached the destination.
