Miracle Cutie Chapter 442: What Are You Two Scheming Now?

"Nina, let me know when you're done," Benjamin called from outside the bathroom door.

He knew she didn't like being watched while she was on the potty.

Nina was suddenly all about privacy. But both Benjamin and Amelia, along with the other adults at home, still had to wipe her bottom afterwards.

They couldn't let her do it herself—it always ended in a mess. She'd shred the toilet paper and make a terrible job of cleaning up.

So, the grown-ups weren't ready to let her be independent in that department just yet.

"Nina, have you gone yet?" Benjamin asked, his deep voice at odds with the topic.

Benjamin, who could outshine any male model with his cool, detached aura, was now standing outside a bathroom door asking about his daughter's bowel movements.

The scene didn't suit him at all, but he didn't seem to care.

"Nina, answer Daddy," Benjamin pressed.

Seeing Benjamin keep asking questions, Tina started to get anxious.

"No more talking," Tina said, trying to shush him. "Let Nina go potty.

"We can go see my sister. She blows bubbles."

Tina invited Benjamin to go see Anya, who blew spit bubbles. Benjamin declined.

"Tina, you can go see her yourself," he said, making no move to leave the bathroom door.

In fact, he put his large hand on the doorknob. Clearly, he was about to open it.

Seeing this, Tina tried to block him more vigorously.

"No!" Tina cried, grabbing at his hand. "Don't open!"

Tina's command had no effect on Benjamin. Her reaction made his heart sink, but he didn't say anything more. He just pushed the door open with force.

The bathroom was empty. Nina wasn't on the potty.

Benjamin's heart plummeted, his expression turning grim.

"Tina, where is Nina?" he asked, turning to face her, his tone serious.

Now that she was caught, Tina pressed her lips tightly together, looking every bit the stubborn child who refused to talk.

Seeing she wouldn't speak, Benjamin immediately called Elizabeth. She arrived quickly.

Upon hearing Nina was missing, Elizabeth was speechless for a moment. This was the second time Nina had disappeared under her roof, and Elizabeth genuinely felt as if her feet wouldn't hold her.

While having someone check the security cameras, she interrogated Tina first.

"Tina, tell me right now, where is Nina?" Elizabeth demanded. "What are you two scheming now?"

Even her own mother couldn't get an answer. Tina was as stubborn as a mule.

"Mommy, I no tell you," Tina declared, lifting her little chin defiantly. "I not afraid of spanking."

Last time, after getting spanked, Tina had given Nina up. She had later thought it over and decided that wasn't right.

So this time, Tina was prepared. No matter how much her mom spanked her, she wouldn't tell. She was a big girl now. She wasn't scared of a spanking anymore!

Seeing her being so stubborn, Elizabeth didn't hold back.

"Fine, you won't talk? Then you're getting a spanking."

Once the spanking had started, it only got easier. Elizabeth was more practiced this time and used a bit more force.

Tina tried to tough it out, but she couldn't take it for long.

"Stop hitting me!" she cried, giving in once again to her mother's discipline. "Mommy, I tell you."

Meanwhile, Nina, still hidden in the box, suddenly sneezed.

The box had small air holes. After sneezing, Nina put her eye up to one to peek out. She was uncomfortable inside and wanted to get out.

Nick, driving the car, also heard the sneeze. He froze for a second, taking one hand off the wheel to rub his ear.

"Was that me?" he muttered, confused. He didn't stop the car, just shook off the feeling and kept driving.

But he picked up speed, finding the whole thing a little creepy.

With Nick speeding along, Nina was jostled and tossed around inside the box.

Her chubby little body bounced from side to side, and she let out several "Ow!"s. Each time she cried out, the car seemed to go even faster!

Finally, Nick, speeding all the way, pulled up to the Powell Estate. He handed the box over to the person at the gate.

"Please give this to Lester," Nick said. "It's a delivery for him. A gift from a cute little kid."

With that, Nick drove off. He couldn't get into the Powell Estate himself.

His friend, Lester's adoptive brother, wasn't even allowed to live there. That brother hadn't been invited to tonight's dinner either.

Having successfully delivered the package, Nick stepped on the gas and headed home.
