Sherry suddenly understood. "Hector, the wife you're hunting for is really hard to find, huh? No wonder your hand reached all the way into King City. You want it all—I've never met anyone as disgusting as you."

He wanted a woman capable enough to stand by his side in public, but he also wanted her not to care about him messing around.

If he picked someone ordinary, she might put up with it.

Hector's eyes turned sharp as a blade. "If you don't know anything, shut your mouth.

"Mr. Y, forget what I said! Think about our deal! The partnership!" Teresa screamed like a madwoman as she was dragged away.

"Damn it! All because Sherry opened her mouth and upset him! Now we're both dragged down!"
