My Beastly Fertility System Chapter 100: Bring It To Me
The new lackey standing behind Jeffrey spoke in a flattering tone, "Mr. Jeffrey, do you want us to send people after her?"
"No. As long as she doesn't leave this underground cave, she can go wherever she wants."
"Yes, sir."
The lackey bowed respectfully. Before he could straighten up, he heard Jeffrey give another order.
"Did you gather all the men I told you to prepare?"
"Yes, we've gathered all the rogue beastfolk nearby. They all said they want to follow you."
"Good! Next, you'll lead them to raid the nearby beastfolk tribes. Bring back all the beastfolk and all the food!"
Jeffrey gave his orders one after another, his cold words directly deciding the life and death of other beastfolk.
Over the next few days, the nearby ordinary beastfolk tribes were hit by devastating attacks. The supplies in the underground cave quickly piled up, and there were so many captured beastfolk that the cells couldn't hold them all. They were forced to crowd into a single large room, their hands bound.
When Claire saw their pleading eyes, she couldn't bear it and turned her head away.
She could barely protect herself right now. There was no way she could worry about them.
After searching for three days, Claire finally walked through every branch of the complex underground cave.
Caves of different sizes were connected by hidden passages, and the crisscrossing tunnels made it easy to get lost if one wasn't careful. Claire had only managed to roughly figure out the layout. Without at least a year of scouting, it would be hard to move freely inside.
"What am I supposed to do? I can't even find the way out. No wonder that devil didn't have anyone follow me!"
Claire rested her chin on her hands as she sat in her small cave.
The only thing worth being grateful for was that in these three days, Jeffrey hadn't made things difficult for her again. Sometimes he would watch her from a distance. Most of the time, he had Eira bring her various small items to please her.
"He told me to bring this. It's a fur tunic taken from a beastfolk tribe. It's made from the feathers of the legendary Azure Bird. It looks very beautiful."
Eira placed the precious fur tunic in front of Claire and explained calmly.
Claire was busy worrying about how to find the way out, so she waved her hand.
"No. Take it away!"
Eira hesitated.
"You don't want this either? Everything you returned before ended up benefiting those three fence-sitters who only care about looks. Think carefully. Once it gets into their hands, you won't get it back."
Claire knew very well that everything she refused was casually given by Jeffrey to those three flashy female beastfolk.
She had heard that the three of them had been overjoyed these past few days, constantly showing off their favor in front of the other rogue beastfolk.
Only Eira sneered at it.
"Seriously! It hasn't even been that long, and they've already forgotten he's the one who took over our cave. Just because he's a good looking guy, they're all over him! I really despise them!"
Eira might have been the only rogue beastfolk who showed zero respect towards Jeffrey.
She never addressed him as "Mr. Jeffrey" like the others did. She always called Jeffrey "that guy", as if she couldn't fathom saying his name.
Claire could see the hatred for Jeffrey in her eyes.
But she was just a powerless female with no status. In this rogue beastfolk cave, she had no say at all.
Just as Claire told her to take the Azure Bird Feather Fur Tunic away, an order from Jeffrey arrived.
"So he's finally done being busy?"
Claire followed Jeffrey's new lackey toward his cave.
The lackey answered happily, "Under Mr. Jeffrey's lead, we've taken down several tribes these past few days. The food we seized is enough to last us for years! Mr. Jeffrey is incredible!"
His tone was full of respect and admiration.
Claire looked at the line of captured beastfolk tied together. So this was what Jeffrey had been busy with?
Then why has he suddenly called me over now?
Before she could figure it out, she was already standing in front of Jeffrey.
He was reclining sideways. Beside him were the three beauties, one massaging his legs, one kneading his shoulders, and one feeding him peeled grapes.
Claire stood there without saying anything, like a statue carved from ice.
After a long while, Jeffrey finally spoke, "I brought you here to open your eyes. This Frostspike was offered by these three beauties. What do you think about them?"
Claire raised her eyes and looked. In front of Jeffrey were several white, translucent, ice-like objects, giving off faint wisps of cold air that made one feel chilled to the bone.
"Not bad." Claire replied coldly.
Jeffrey seemed dissatisfied with her answer. He hooked a finger under one of the beauty's chin and said teasingly,
"It's more than not bad. It's excellent! These beauties have me in their hearts, that's why they went through the trouble to find it for me."
The three beauties were overjoyed at the praise and and quickly put on a show of humility.
"The best things should be given to the greatest Mr. Jeffrey. That's only right!"
The three of them spoke in soft, syrupy voices.
Claire tried her best to endure the discomfort and said nothing.
Jeffrey waved his hand.
"Bring it to me. I'll eat it now!"
One of the beauties lifted the Frostspike and held it up to his mouth.
But Jeffrey didn't open it. Instead, he kept his eyes fixed on Claire.
