My Beastly Fertility System Chapter 144: A Sudden Labor

Before the gorillas could move, the giant panda leaped through the air and blocked the doorway of Claire's room.

From inside the room, Claire saw the giant panda and shouted happily, "Marcus, you're back!"

"Yeah, Claire. Step back and don't leave the room. I'll deal with them quickly!"

Claire warned him, "They're the city lord's men!"

Marcus didn't care at all. He held his head high and said, "So what? They all deserve to die!"

She reminded him because she was afraid he didn't know who they were and might misunderstand. From what Marcus had said before, he even called the city lord "Uncle Finlay."

Claire didn't know how close his relationship with Finlay actually was. She could only tell him the truth and let him decide for himself.

From his reaction now, it was clear their relationship wasn't as friendly as it seemed!

The monkey sneered.

"Attack! Kill anyone who gets in the way!"

He also knew that Marcus, a Level 3 beastfolk, was quite strong. But now, his side had over ten Level 2 gorilla beastfolks. Even if they lost a few, they should logically be able to easily take the female away and finish the city lord's task.

The gorillas narrowed the circle and moved toward Marcus.

Marcus wasn't scared at all. He lunged into the group of gorillas. His round, chubby body instantly knocked one gorilla to the ground, and he immediately stepped on it with his front paws.

Under the pressure of his weight, the fallen gorilla's internal organs soon shattered, and it spit out blood.

While the other gorillas were afraid, they looked at each other and attacked Marcus at the same time.

Marcus fought fifteen enemies alone. Fueled by anger, Marcus quickly turned the situation around.

At first, the gorillas surrounded him and attacked him from all sides. Now, they were either dead or injured. The remaining eight or nine gorillas were terrified and were chased around the yard by Marcus.

A dizzy gorilla had been thrown by Marcus and crashed right into him.

The monkey lost his balance and fell back into the yard.

Before he could get up, Marcus rushed over and smashed his skull.

Watching Marcus dominate the fight, Claire gained a new understanding of his strength.

Even though Marcus was innocent and adorable, he really had a lot of fighting spirit when he got angry in his beast form!

However, he wasn't completely unharmed too. His furs were flying everywhere and his four paws, used for attacking, had several bloody bite marks from the gorillas.

Claire leaned against the door, nervously watching the battle in the yard.

"Marcus, watch your back!

"That monkey is trying to sneak attack!

"Go, Marcus! Take them down!"

She clenched her fists to cheer him on while holding up her big belly with one hand.

If her belly wasn't so big and in the way, she would have already run out to help him!

Even if she wasn't strong, she could at least help a little, right?

She felt like she definitely wouldn't just be a nuisance.

While Claire was watching closely, she suddenly felt a familiar dropping sensation in her belly. She had experienced this same feeling twice before!

"Huh? Babies, you really know how to pick a time!"

Were they so eager to come out and see how strong their father was?

This time, as soon as the pain started, Claire secretly took a painless labor pill and her body instantly felt much lighter.

But Claire was still a bit nervous. What if, just like with her second pregnancy when she gave birth to the last fox cub, the painless labor pill randomly stopped working? Then she would really suffer!

Pome added, "Such a badass!"

Claire said, "Do you even hear yourself? Can this be pushed back in? How would you block it? With your tiny little body? Stop joking!"

What should she do?

She was completely speechless at Davy's blunt suggestion.

He was way too clueless.

It seemed she could only rely on herself. Lying on the fur bed, Claire got into position, ready to give birth.
