If he hadn’t been a rogue beastfolk, Marcus probably would’ve been one of her mates by now.

After all, he’d already seen every inch of her—and he’d even helped deliver her last youngling with his own hands.

Marcus didn’t seem bothered by it at all. After setting the full, sleepy youngling down on the bed, he immediately reached over for the second one.

Even though it was his first time helping with a birth, Marcus caught on fast. With Claire guiding him, the two of them fell into an easy rhythm, handling everything smoothly.

One of them focused on the delivery, offering instructions here and there.

The other took care of the rest—cutting cords, cleaning the babies, and feeding them milk.

They moved together so naturally, it was like they’d been doing this for years.

She had given birth to 51 younglings!

Thirty-five of them were panda younglings. Their colors were pretty simple overall, with only black and white, gray, and brown variations. Fifteen females and 20 males.

The other 16 were fox younglings. The fox younglings came in all kinds of colors, though it wasn’t very obvious right after birth. Claire had already learned that during her first litter, so she wasn’t surprised.

Out of the fox younglings, there were six females and ten males.

The quality of this litter had seriously leveled up!

Only a handful were stuck at Level 2, but the rest had already hit Level 3.

Still, levels didn’t mean everything. Most of the rewards she got during labor were rare flowers and herbs—perfect for boosting growth. She’d collected around 40 or 50 Level 1 Amethyst Berries and Level 2 Mossherbs. With resources like these, the younglings wouldn’t have to worry about leveling up later on.

She’d had a big litter this time, and the rewards were just as impressive.

The preservation storage, living space, and accelerated farmland had all gotten a lot bigger. The preservation storage had now stretched to 70,000 cubic feet, the living space had grown to 53,000 cubic feet, and even the smallest accelerated farmland now covered nearly 13,000 square feet.

The preservation space that had once been stuffed full was now so huge that all the supplies inside only took up a tiny corner after the expansion.

The living space had come a long way, too. It started as a tiny wooden cabin where you could barely turn around. Now, it was a sprawling, elegant old-style townhouse with over 5,300 square feet. Fully furnished, with running water, electricity, and gas—it was a far cry from the humble beginnings.

She had no clue where that space actually connected to, or where the plumbing even ran.

But now, the living space was huge—big enough to fit a whole bunch of younglings without feeling cramped.

And there was no need to worry about any accidents, either. Even if the younglings climbed all over the place and tumbled around nonstop, they wouldn’t get hurt bumping into anything.

It was basically the perfect magical setup for raising younglings while on the move, especially when you had monsters to deal with.

Claire felt pretty good about it overall. The only real downside was that she still hadn’t found any evening primrose, so Marcus’s eyes were still a problem. Plus, there weren’t any modern weapons to speak of—not even a single bullet.

The moment she received the fruit tree saplings, Claire focused her thoughts slightly. Instantly, the saplings planted themselves across the accelerated farm and started growing at an unbelievable pace.
