Apocalypse Queen: My Space, My Rules Chapter 131: Traitors

"Yeah, he's lying." Matthew picked up his daughter and hurried inside.

Chandler pressed his thin lips together. His handsome face turned cold. His dark eyes swept over Number Four like sharp blades, then casually returned to Mariella.

Number One held back the urge to kick Number Four and snapped, "Shut up! I'm not that kind of guy!"

As he spoke, he glanced at Chandler out of the corner of his eye.

Maybe Mariella liked bold, forward men like Chandler more, but Number One didn't regret it. He was never the kind of man who acted cheap.

Chandler said nothing. He could feel a strange jealousy coming from Number One, but he had no proof.

Lucky didn't fully understand what Number Four was saying, but as a dog, he could tell from everyone's reaction that it was offensive. He bared his teeth and let out a low, warning growl.

Number Seven was also stunned by how bold and shameless Number Four was. With so many people around, how could he dare to do this? How could he throw everything away like that?

For a moment, Number Seven even hesitated, wondering if he should take off his shirt too to please Mariella.

After all, their situation was bad, and no one knew how Mariella would deal with them.

Just as he couldn't make up his mind, Mariella slowly stood up.

She pulled out a wet wipe from her bag and carefully cleaned the fingers that had just touched Number Four. Then she lifted her leg and kicked him hard in the chest.

The kick hit him right over the heart.

Number Four was sent flying. The 200-pound man crashed to the ground about ten feet away and almost coughed up blood.

He struggled to lift his upper body, staring at Mariella in disbelief.

He had seen her speed. He had seen her perfect aim. He had seen her kill without hesitation. But he never thought she had this much raw power.

How could someone so slim, almost fragile, possess the strength to launch me this far?

Mariella tossed the dirty wipe onto his face and said coldly, "Who gave you the confidence to think you could seduce me? I would never look twice at someone like you!"

Cold sweat ran down Number Seven's back. He silently thanked himself for not being that shameless or that quick to act. If he had copied Number Four, he'd probably be hurt too.

The bodyguards all had different looks on their faces. Someone cursed under their breath, "Damn, you've embarrassed every man here."

Chandler glanced at Mariella, his eyes shifting slightly before he looked away, lips pressed tight.

Number One, however, was eager to step in.

"Ms. Townsend, you don't need to deal with trash like this yourself. We can handle it."

Mariella smiled faintly and nodded. "Then give them a lesson they won't forget."

The bodyguards rushed forward at once. Number Four and Number Seven turned pale, begging loudly for mercy.

"Wait," Mariella suddenly said.

Before the two men could relax, she added calmly, "Take off Number Seven's bulletproof vest. Don't get it dirty."

Bulletproof vests were valuable. No way she'd let them be ruined by people like these.

Number Four wisely took his off himself. Number Seven's vest was stripped away, and the two were thrown together as fists rained down on them.

"Stop! We're going to die!"

"Please, stop! Ms. Townsend, spare us!"

Soon, their faces were swollen and bloody, and their bodies were covered in bruises.

"Enough," Mariella finally said.

The bodyguards stepped back.

Number Four and Number Seven lay on the ground like dead dogs.

"It's just surface wounds, right? No internal injuries, I hope?" Mariella said calmly. "If you can't get up, then carry them out and throw them straight into the water."

Hearing this, the two men quickly struggled to their feet, tears and blood on their faces as they begged, "Ms. Townsend, please spare us this time!"

Mariella let out a cold laugh. "I don't tolerate traitors. Not even once."

As she spoke, her icy gaze swept across everyone present.

The bodyguards felt a chill. There was no room for betrayal here. Not even once.

She continued, "But I'm not completely heartless. We were teammates, after all. I won't kill you."

She turned and told Number One, "Have two people pack up their things."

Soon, two military backpacks were tossed in front of Number Four and Number Seven.

At that moment, Matthew came back out after putting his daughter to sleep.

Mariella said to him, "Get them a kayak and two combat knives."

The items were thrown in front of the two men. Their hands shook as they picked up the short combat knives, worried that Mariella might be forcing them to take their own lives.
