"Be careful." Chandler quickly reached out and held her steady.

Mariella suddenly felt dizzy and nearly fainted, luckily falling into his arms for support.

So it wasn't just mental exhaustion that caused dizziness. Absorbing too much energy at once also caused it. It really felt like being too full.

Leaning against Chandler's chest, she gradually recovered.

Chandler unscrewed the lid of his military canteen and brought it to her lips.

Mariella took a couple of sips and said excitedly, "I wonder how much the storage space will expand this time."

After making sure no one was nearby, she brought both of them and the wooden boat into the storage space.

Mariella rested in Chandler's arms while he sat in a chair.

Both of them held drinks. She was drinking mango pomelo sago, while Chandler was drinking a coconut latte.

Just like the earlier batches from Denton, all the gemstones were genuine, and none of them were fake.

That made sense. Since those gemstones came straight from large mining contractors who controlled entire gemstone mines, there were no middlemen involved who could tamper with the goods.

After more than half an hour, all the gemstones were completely absorbed.

Suddenly, the entire space began shaking violently. The surroundings twisted like a distorted painting, and the ground trembled as if there was an earthquake happening.

Chandler remained seated while holding Mariella tightly in his arms. Both of them were shaken so strongly that they nearly fell off the chair, and the drinks in their hands dropped to the floor.

"This is bad—the space might be having an earthquake!" Chandler reacted immediately. "We have to leave."

Mariella was stunned.

Space earthquake? What a rare phrase!

In a hurry, she only managed to grab a kayak before leaving the storage space together with Chandler.

They returned to the water's surface while sitting in the kayak, still feeling dizzy from the intense shaking.

"If the storage space really has an earthquake, will all the stored supplies get damaged?" Mariella worried most about that possibility.

If everything was destroyed in this earthquake, she felt like the world really would end.

Chandler pulled Mariella into his arms again and comforted her. "The space swallowed such a massive amount of gemstones all at once, so huge changes are bound to happen. But I believe it follows its own rules. It shouldn't damage the stored supplies. Besides, your space absorbed more than a thousand pounds of gemstones from Denton before without any problems, right?"

Mariella thought carefully and replied, "At that time, I was extremely busy. After putting the gemstones inside the space, I went off to handle other things."

By the time she finished everything and entered the space to check, it had already absorbed the gemstones and finished expanding. None of the supplies were damaged.

Even so, Mariella still felt uneasy.

"What song do you want to hear?"

"Wow, you can even take requests?" Mariella thought seriously for a moment before saying, "I want to hear '100 Years'."

Chandler looked thoughtful. "You like that song?"

"Yes!" Mariella couldn't help remembering her previous life and said softly, "When I died in my previous life, I felt extremely unwilling. In my heart, I kept shouting that I still wanted to live for another hundred years!

"I never expected that I would really be reborn! So I feel like this song has some kind of spiritual meaning. I want to hear it again!"

While saying those words, she silently prayed to many different gods in her heart, hoping her storage space and all her supplies would remain safe.

Chandler quickly granted her request and immediately began singing to her while holding her close.
