Mariella recognized that voice immediately. It clicked in her mind. Roxanna!

So, Black Bear had taken over Tigre's spoils and "inherited" Roxanna as well. It also seemed like he was already indulging himself.

In her previous life, whenever enemies invaded, she had always been the one standing at the front lines, protecting Harvey and Roxanna—keeping them both safe.

Now that she was no longer their scapegoat, those two had become nothing more than prey waiting to be harvested.

A sharp slap echoed through the room, followed by a woman's pained whimper.

"Ow, Black Bear, you're so rough," Roxanna cooed softly.

Black Bear let out a lewd, disgusting laugh.

Roxanna continued her soft, breathy sounds.

Mariella felt sick just hearing it. Chandler's face darkened. Then, he gave her a hand signal—kill.

Just as she was about to respond and move in, another voice came from inside.

"Still, you're the sensible one. Your boyfriend is too stubborn. If I didn't find him a little fresh, I'd have killed him already," Black Bear said coldly.

Roxanna pouted. "Don't let him come ruin the mood when we're together."

"Hah! I remember he used to be your boyfriend. Now you're jealous of him too?" Black Bear laughed smugly.

"I only have you in my heart now. He's just ruining our fun," Roxanna said, and beneath her coquettish tone was a trace of undisguised disgust. "Black Bear, just make him stay away."

It was obvious that her feelings for Harvey had already completely faded.

Not surprising. She had only ever liked the version of him who was wealthy and powerful enough to dote on her like a princess—not a helpless prisoner turned plaything of a warlord.

The spacious living room was filled with obscene noises and a thick, suffocating atmosphere of indulgence.

Mariella listened in stunned silence. This really was a mess beyond belief.

Chandler noticed she hadn't given the "kill" signal for a long time, and his expression turned slightly cold.

So he acted on his own.

Several loyal guards remained around Black Bear, still on duty and not drinking.

Hearing movement, one of them shouted, "Who's there?"

They didn't actually think an intruder had gotten in. They assumed it was one of their own men sneaking in to peek at Black Bear's women.

After all, the villa was fully controlled, with multiple layers of guards inside and out. No one could possibly infiltrate silently.

Chandler didn't answer. He raised his hand, and in a flash of cold light, a blade swept across the throat.

The man's carotid artery was severed instantly, and blood burst out like a fountain.

Chandler stepped aside, avoiding the spray.

As the man collapsed, Chandler even reached out and held him steady, waiting for him to bleed out quietly so there would be no noise.

Mariella had originally planned to listen a little longer at the wall, but seeing Chandler already moving, she had no choice but to coordinate with her teammate.

When the second guard stepped out, she drew her Snowfield antique dagger from her space and slit his throat in one clean motion.

Silent kill techniques worked best this way, as there was no sound or warning.

The blade was longer than standard knives or bayonets, giving her a wider killing range.

The guard died before he even saw what happened.

Chandler gently lowered the first body after it finished bleeding, then took over handling the second.

He clearly didn't want her hands getting dirty.

Inside the room, a man's muffled voice suddenly came again. It sounded as if he wanted to say something.

Black Bear slapped him impatiently. "Stop acting up. If you keep this up, I'll throw you outside to the dogs!"

"Eh? He dropped something..." Roxanna picked up the paper and read it aloud in shock. "Mariella has storage space ability?"

Black Bear frowned. "Who's Mariella?"

"The woman from Villa No. 98!"

Mariella and Chandler both froze.

It looked like Harvey had already recovered all his past-life memories, including Mariella's storage space ability.

Even with a torn vocal cord, a shot shoulder, a shattered arm, and a nearly broken knee, he had somehow regained enough strength in these two days to write a note.

And he had used it to expose her secret.

Clearly, being forced into Black Bear's "company" had filled him with resentment, and he intended to dump it all on Mariella.

If his life was miserable, he wanted to make sure hers wouldn't be peaceful either.

So he chose to reveal her storage space ability and invite endless pursuit and killing intent toward her.
