Falling For The Biker: The Vice President's Girl Chapter 13

Wren

"You should apologize too, Ezra," I say, skillfully avoiding the question he asked.

He raises a brow. "Apologise for what?"

With a huff, I stand.

He doesnt move away like I thought he would. But really, this is Ezra we're talking about... he wouldn't move.

"Really?" I cross my arms, cheeks flushing. "For spanking me, Ezra."

He chuckles, a low rumble in his throat. "There's nothing to be sorry for, Birdie."

"So you think it's appropriate to spank me?"

"When you act like a child, you get treated like one." He shrugs.

I scoff, baffled. "You hit me, Ezra. You preach about my ex fiancé hitting me, but you just turn around and do the same."

His face darkens, bloody fingers roughly cupping my chin. "Don't you ever—" he hisses, "compare me to that bastard."

I swallow, throat tight at the seriousness in his tone.

"Besides," he smirks. "I'd bet my left nut you loved it. The same way you loved watching me come last night, and so I'll ask you again..."

Ezra steps even closer, his scent driving me crazy. "Why were you here last night, little bird?"

My breath hitches, tongue heavy. Gray eyes hold mine, intense. His proximity is messing with my mind.

I hate it.

Glowering, I side-step him, appreciating the distance.

"If you don't want someone barging in, lock the damn door." I pause. "Or better still, use inside voices."

"Nah." His eyes light up. "Needed you to believe I'm more than a one minute man."

Something glints in his mouth, I narrow my eyes. "What's in your mouth?"

"What?" He smacks his lips, then opens wide.

That's when I see it.

"A tongue piercing." I roll my eyes. "Of course."

Why haven't I noticed it before?

He grins. "Right, I forgot to take it out. I only use it when..."

"When what?"

Dark eyes fizzle down my body, goosebumps breaking out of my skin. He invades my personal space again, leaning down.

"I only use it when I'm sure I'll be going down on a woman. Heard it brings immense, primal pleasure." His lips brush my ear, every word fans my skin with warmth.

And I picture the words, his tongue flicking against my nub, the piercing rubbing on...

My skin pebbles, nipples hardening.

"I'm sure it does," I choke out, my voice shaky, betraying the false confidence.

Shoving his fists into his pockets, his eyes dip down. I catch the moment he sees my nipples. His nostrils flare, thighs spreading a little wider.

The atmosphere changes, swelling with sexual tension. His room still smells of sex, the image of him pumping his cock filters into my brain.

Ezra stands in front of me, dark hair over his eyes, caked blood on his hands.

Somehow he still makes it look good, sexual appeal rolling off him in waves.

And he knows.

"Yea," he rasps, clearing his throat immediately. "You can ask Brittany, she'll be ready to tell you all about it."

That's all it takes to snap me out of it.

Brittany.

I snort. "Brittany's a snake, I wouldn't trust her judgement."

With the last strength I can muster, I walk away from him and out of his room, glad to finally inhale more oxygen, and less...Ezra.

My stomach growls, reminding me I'm yet to have breakfast so I make a detour downstairs to the kitchen.

I'm surprised to find Lizzy, Mrs Dee, Torch and the young guy—which I found out to be Monty—at the kitchen island.

They look up as I step in.

"She's alive!" Torch announces, a happy smile on his face.

I shake my head at his antics, chuckling lightly. "Ezra wouldn't dare to kill me, my brother will literally rip him apart."

"Mhm," Mrs Dee hums. "Prez can be terrifying too."

"I feel like VP can still take Prez," Lizzy adds.

Torch nods. "Yes, there's a reason why VP's the enforcer."

"I'm sorry to kill the mood," I quickly say when my stomach squeezes painfully. "But I'm starving. Are there any leftovers?"

"Don't be sorry, silly girl." Mrs Dee laughs, waving me off. "Lizzy's got some extra food."

Lizzy shuffles around in a pan, and slides a plate of mashed potatoes, eggs, bread and bacon to me.

"We always save yours, you know this," she adds, placing a bottle of water next to me.

I don't waste time in stuffing my face. "Thank you."

They all wave me off except Torch who literally salivates at my food.

"Back off Torch, you already had yours and then some," Lizzy warns.

Mrs Dee smacks his abs, he winces. "How can you eat so much and remain this tiny? Where does all the food go?"

I tune them out, turning to the guy shoving food down his throat.

"Monty, right?" I ask softly.

He nods. "Yea. Wren, right? Ray's little sister?"

"Yup." I pop the 'p', chewing my food.

After a beat, I turn to him again. "How old are you?"

"Seventeen."

My eyes nearly bulge out of their sockets. He's just a kid in such a violent life.

"You're young," I say, frowning.

I mean, I was not much older when Ray got in, practically pushing me in too. But still!

Monty shrugs, swallowing. "It's not as dangerous, the club is my family. And we're mostly nice, not a lot of bad guys compared to..."

"Raven Reapers," I complete the statement for him, sighing loudly. His lips tighten. "It's fine, I know my brother and Ezra can be quite hot headed...especially Ezra."

"I guess," he nods. "By the way, thank you, Wren. For helping out this morning."

I shake my head. "Oh, it's nothing. Though, I was rudely reprimanded that I shouldn't have."

"You don't need to blame yourself, you had no idea. Plus I didn't know what I had done too," Monty says.

"I thought the test was to be discreet, and I was already upset that I had failed," he continues. "Now I realize that my silence was the test."

I snort. "A stupid test method, if you ask me."

He laughs, dimples popping. "Everyone has to be initiated somehow."

"Hm."

I take in his bruises that still look like they hurt, but he just chomps happily on his food.

Seeing Ezra beat up someone like that was shocking, somehow, I underestimated his role as Ray's enforcer.

I'm so lost in my food, and thoughts that I don't notice the kitchen has emptied out...not until a familiar voice whispers in my ears.

"Are you really that desperate for EJ?"

I whirl around, not surprised to find Brittany glaring at me, arms crossed.

"I don't know what you're talking about." I turn back to my almost empty plate.

"You just couldn't help yourself last night, could you?" she says.

And I have to pray someone doesn't overhear this.

I scoff. "If you think I had any pleasure being disturbed by your whiny voice while I tried to sleep, then think again."

The pleasure wasn't from the disturbance, but there was a pleasure...only brought out by Ezra.

"The funny thing Wren, is that you were my best friend...and you forget that I know you." She grabs an apple.

"Yea?" I roll my eyes. "Tell me then, what do you know about me?"

Her teeth sink into the apple, crunching loudly.

"I know you still have a crush on EJ."

I huff a laugh. "Let me tell you what I know about you, Brittany. I know you're a filthy slut, desperate for Ezra," I say. "And I also know that you were a shitty best friend."

Her eyes harden with irritation, grip tight on the apple. Her lips part to speak but she's quickly interrupted by Ezra poking his head into the kitchen.

"Birdie," he says. "Come on, we're going shopping."

I frown. "Why?"

Brittany's annoyance quickly disappears, a sugary smile on her face. She approaches Ezra.

"EJ," Brittany drawls. "I enjoyed last night, until we were rudely interrupted."

He gives me a look, eyes lined with humour. "We were, weren't we?"

She leans in for a kiss and he responds eagerly, like the manwhore he is.

I tear my eyes from the sickening sight, finishing up my food.

Finally, I get up and begin my way out of the kitchen when his fingers curl gently around my arm.

Their kiss ends.

"I'm serious, Birdie. We're going shopping."

"Can I come with?" Brittany pouts exaggeratedly.

Ew.

Ezra ignores her. "Let's go, Wren."

"You smell like "cheap whore", Ezra," I say. "Do something about that breath."
