Falling For The Biker: The Vice President's Girl Chapter 95

Wren

When Ezra told me I had a package, I didn't expect a dress, shoes and flowers.

But I wasn't surprised. It's Ezra. The man spoils me silly.

"You look beautiful," he murmurs, sliding a hand around my waist.

I tuck a strand of hair behind my ears. "Thank you. You look great too, but when did you get this dress?"

"When I was sure of the date that we'd be coming here."

"You spoil me too much, babe."

"Are you complaining?" He raises a brow.

I laugh. "I could never. I love it." Then I hand him my necklace, one of the jewelry he got for me. "Put this on for me, please."

Gently, he clasps it behind my neck, kisses me and leads me to the bed.

My brows draw together. "Ezra, we're not having sex again."

He snorts and breaks into laughter, eyes twinkling and shoulders racking.

"Sit, sweetheart. I'm not trying to have my way with you…for now. Even though we'd both enjoy it."

"It's not the time," I huff. "We're keeping Judi and Andre waiting."

His lips twitch. "Sit, babe."

Eyes narrowed, I plop down on the bed.

He drops to one knee and grabs my new pair of heels, placing my foot on his raised knee.

"Oh, you're helping with my shoes," I say stupidly, cheeks reddening as I mentally face-palm.

"Yes, I'm helping with your shoes, so be rest assured my dick is tucked away for now." He winks and kisses my ankles before slipping a shoe on me.

Deft fingers work the buckle until it's firmly clasped, and he goes on to do it for my other foot.

Kissing each foot after he's done.

I arrange his hair in place, and lift his chin so our eyes are fixed on each other. "If anyone told me years ago that you were such a romantic, I'd have cussed them out."

"I'm not a romantic," he gruffs. "It's just with you. I find myself wanting to do things for you, to make life easy for you in any way within my ability."

"I've told you how selfless you are—"

"You make it easy—"

"Not just with me, baby. Yes, I've got some special privileges, but not just with me. With Beth, Hannah, Noah…hell, even Ray."

He plants a kiss on my knuckles. "Trust me, you make me so much better."

"You're amazing." I peck his lips.

"I don't deserve you," he says. "Can I ask for something?"

"Of course."

"Can you kiss my neck? I want the imprint of your lips there."

My lips part, eyes wide. "We're about to head out."

"More reason I need that stamp, babe. We're not in New Orleans, so I'm going to wear you on my skin in whatever way I can." He taps his neck. "Go on, mark me."

A thrill settles in the pool of my tummy, tightening.

Mark me.

How can I say 'no' to that? Those two words will forever be my undoing.

And so I lean in, pressing my red-stained lips to his olive skin. His hand tightens on my waist, pulling me closer to him.

When I pull away, I admire my hand work, proud of myself while he blinks up lazily at me, a lopsided smile on his face.

"Promise to do this everyday as long as we're still here," he says.

"I promise." The easiest promise to make.

Marking my boyfriend's face with lip stick? Count me in.

Ezra holds out his phone. "Pictures?"

"Let's hurry up babe, Judi and Andre—"

"Smile."

I do as he takes a few shots of me, and of us. When he's done, I take his phone to go through the pictures.

In my swiping, I see other pictures he's taken of me. When I'm sleeping, with the kids, my legs on his thighs…but one stops me.

It's a picture of that day at the pool, that backdrop. My hair wet and clinging to my face, droplets pebble across my skin, nipples hardened from the cold.

But the way I look at him…likes he's my whole world.

"You looked so good that day," he murmurs. "It's a picture I always go back to over and over again. Sometimes, I wish you could see yourself through my eyes."

"It's beautiful," I choke out.

He takes the phone from me and places a sweet kiss on my forehead.

"You're beautiful."

I lean into Judi, and whisper, "So, are you two, like, dating? Is it official yet?"

"Nah," she replies. "We're still new, still getting to know each other."

"How'd you get him to come on this trip?"

She snorts. "Funny story, but if you haven't noticed, he's almost as possessive as Ezra. When I told him, he literally bulldozed his way on this trip."

I lift my eyes to Andre who's in deep conversation with Ezra from across the table.

We're both seated between them.

"That's sweet, Judi. I'm happy for you."

"He really is, and don't get me started about the sex—"

"Oh, I'm not getting you star—"

"There's this thing he does with his tongue. Absolutely mind blowing, Wren."

I grimace. "I honestly didn't ask for those details."

"Oh hush, listen so Ezra can learn a thing or two."

"Hey." I frown. "Ezra's skills are perfect."

She waves me off. "I know, babe. Just messing with you. Have you seen your man? He literally oozes sexual appeal, all big and—"

"If you don't stop talking, I'll tell Andre you're fantasizing about my boyfriend."

Our whispering is exposed when she gasps. Loudly. "I'm not fantasizing!"

Both men turn to us with raised brows.

"Who's fantasizing?" Andre asks.

"Wren!" Judi blurts.

When Ezra narrows his eyes at me, I give him a subtle shake of my head and his lips twitch.

"Well, dinner's going great," I comment.

That earns me snorts and soft chuckles from everyone at the table.

It's fine, I'll take the hit for Judi even though she'd literally throw me under the bus.

Ezra and Andre return to their conversation but his hand settles heavily on my thigh, running up and down the length.

"Eat, love," he murmurs in my ears.

"I am."

Judi drops her cutlery with a loud bang. "Guys, where are we going tomorrow?"

"Let's go hiking in the morning," Andre suggests.

Ezra stiffens.

"Yes," Judi agrees. "I love that idea, boss man. Need to work these legs."

I glance at Ezra as he takes a small sip of his water.

"Urm, I don't think hiking is a good—"

"We'll go," Ezra cuts in.

I frown. "What?"

"We'd love a little exercise."

He squeezes my thighs gently, reassuring me. I should be the one reassuring him because he's about to mess up his legs more than they already are.

When I raise a brow at him, he mutters, "It's fine."

Just great.

Men and their egos.
