[Three Weeks Later]

'Do not come to the MC, Ezra Jax. Send a picture and the address, I'll come visit myself...with Pete, if necessary.'

That was the text Mitch sent after hanging up rudely on us, and we've not heard from him since. But I was relieved because we still have more time with Hannah.

She's been living with us at Ezra's for a couple days now, and it's been perfect.

"Isn't she adorable?" I coo at Ezra, pointing at Hannah who has MaryAnne in her lap while Quincy holds them both.

He smiles. "She is. She'd make a great big sister, one day."

"You're giving me a lot of hope there," I chuckle nervously, tucking my hair behind my ear.

"I'm telling you a fact, sweetheart. We're gonna have more babies, but this time...I'll marry you first."

My cheeks flush. I can never get tired of him saying that, and with each day that passes, everything feels brighter and better, even the hurt feels less.

"Everyone!" Ray gives a loud clap and we all go silent. He's finally out of his office with Torch behind him.

We're at the clubhouse, and Ezra, Quincy and I already know what the meeting is about. Maybe some people can put two and two together.

Lizzy slides up to me, and whispers. "Hey, pretty girl. Glad to see you and Ezra cozying up, heard you're traveling?"

We're leaving in two days, Ezra, Hannah, Andrea and I. Beth and Ajax decided not to come with. They have lives here, and we can't just uproot them.

"Yes, Liz." My smile is wide and I shrug out of Ezra's hold into hers. He gives her a small smile and goes back to watching Ray. "How're you? And Torch?"

She huffs and rolls her eyes. "Oh please, I've heard the rumors too. I'm older than him."

"So there's nothing?"

"Absolutely not."

Yet, I see the way her eyes trail down the length of his torso as he stretches to pick something for Ray.

"Age is just a number, Liz." I lift a brow. "You know that, right?"

"Not for me."

"He—"

"Shush, Ray's about to start."

My eyes narrow but I drop it and pay attention to Ray.

"You've probably all heard the rumors so I'm here to confirm that it is in fact true," Ray announces, "EJ is leaving the MC and yes, you will have a new VP."

A chorus of "ooh's", "no's" and "ahh's" echo in the room. I see Clay sitting at the farthest end and I'm glad to see him.

He came back last week and I'm so happy he's recovered. Though, Ray asked him to go back and get some more rest.

Kendall hands Ray the new VP cut, so he holds it up for us to see. Just the front though with the VP tag.

"Your new VP is..." Ezra slips his hand into mine, and we watch with bated breaths as Ray flips the back of the jacket, "Shawn McClaren, AKA, Torch!" And he dons the jacket on Torch.

The whole room erupts, Ezra hoots the loudest and he tugs us forward to congratulate Torch.

My lips pull into a wide smile, eyes shining with amusement when we reach Torch. "Shawn?" I snort. "Your name is Shawn McClaren?"

He tsks. "Please, Wren, let's stick to Torch."

"Never." I laugh and hug him briefly. "Congratulations, you deserve this."

"Thank you."

Ezra shakes him and pats him on the back, after which others join in, slapping him on the back.

I turn to Ezra and snort. "Did you know his name is Shawn?"

"Unfortunately, yes."

"He doesn't look like a Shawn."

"Tell me about it." He laughs. "I still don't know how we all started calling him Torch, but I do know we used to call him McClaren, and all of sudden...Torch was all we knew."

"How about Clay? What's his real name?"

"Oh, it's Clayton. So technically, it's just a shortened version of his name."

I huff a laugh. "Clayton. God, you guys are ridiculous."

"Says the girl whose nicknames are Birdie and Chirp."

"Hey!" I glare. "You both are horrible with nicknames. For your information, I hate both."

He frowns. "Why? I think it's cute."

"Wren being a bird is already bad enough, Ezra. You both just had to make it worse."

"Because we love you."

His amused smile forces a smile on my face too. As if I was ever truly mad at those nicknames.

I huff. "I guess I love you both too."

"Alright, alright!" Ray claps again and everyone scrambles to their seats. "I also have another announcement to make."

Ray's eyes find Ezra and I in the crowd, and he drops it to our intertwined hands. A small smile grazes his lips.

Ray hasn't bothered us anymore, and slowly, he's been getting used to seeing Ezra and I together. We also try not to rub it in though, but so far, he's been taking it well.

And he's been coming around more to see us at Ezra's. It all changed that day after Mitch hung up. We all headed back to Beth's, and I guess something about the warmth and the way Ezra's family took care of all of us, changed something in Ray.

I certainly am not complaining.

Ezra's hand tightens gently in my hand.

"Over a month ago, I disapproved of the relationship between my best friend and my little sister until I was forced to see how deeply they love each other." He grimaces and we laugh at that.

Maybe he may never fully get used to it.

"It's still weird, don't get me wrong," he says. "But since they're leaving New Orleans indefinitely, I have to approve. It was a sensitive period after Wren got taken—betrayed by one of us—and we're only just finding our footing, so I'm just going to say one thing..."

His eyes lock on us across the room. "Ezra Jax, if you hurt my sister wherever you're taking her, be rest assured that I will book the nearest flight out of here and haunt your ass."

"I will haunt my ass too, Ray! But trust me, I will never hurt her, not even a little bit."

It's all laughter and smiles from there and I lean into Ezra, a hand on his chest. His bright eyes peer into mine and my chest warms.

"On behalf of Raven Reapers, we wish you guys a safe flight, a lovely home...and more...love." He tips a glass of whiskey in our direction.

"Thank you, Ray," I say.

"Come here, Chirp."

I speed walk into his spread out arms and hug him, inhaling his scent.

Two more days, and we're out of here. I'm giddy, but I'm also nostalgic. I'll miss the clubhouse, I'll miss the guys...Mrs Dee, Lizzy...Quincy and my little Maryanne.

"I'll miss you, Ray," I mumble.

He rubs my back. "Me too, Chirp, me too."

When we break away, Ray grins. "Turn the music up!!"

"Wait!" Someone shouts. "There's someone at the door, Prez! He's looking for...Ezzy?"

The music stops, and everyone goes silent.

Ezra and I lock eyes from across the room, and I can feel the tension rolling off him.

"Who is it?"

"Some biker," the man replies. "Says his name is Mitch?"

My eyes cut to Ezra and then...to Hannah.
