The Lycan King and His Mysterious Luna Chapter 106
“I agree. We’ve lost enough already due to this madness.”
“You never knew about any of the things that happened to him? I mean, I’m just curious because you are his best friend.”
“No, I’m just as shocked as everyone else. His own father and mother didn’t even know what he went through. I’m wondering if the Alpha command was not only to make him kill but to forget that it happened at all and that’s how his other side was suppressed all these years.”
“We’ll have time to wonder about that later, but for now we need to get him back and figure out how to put all his personalities back together. I have a feeling that is the only way he’ll be able to have any semblance of peace again. If not, I’m afraid of this happening again at some point and this is not something that I want to ever go through again. His mother will be devastated when she finds all of this information out.”
“She’s a very tough woman, but yeah, I believe you are right. Actually, I think she is going to be more pissed off than anything at his grandfather.”
We run towards the witches and stand in front of them along with some other warriors to protect them from any attacks. They lift their hands but before they can begin a black bolt of electricity arcs through the air and heads straight for the witches. Some warriors are struck while trying to protect them and I work hard to get up a shield, but it is no use against Alex’s combined powers. “I’m going to need more power to hold this shield against him.” I say to no one in particular. Suddenly the shield is reinforced and stops his next attack a bit more. I look around to find out who is helping me. “How did that happen?” I ask out loud.
“You’re welcome, Freya.” It can’t be, can it?
“Shayla? What are you doing here? You’re supposed to be in the bunker with the women and children. You shouldn’t be here.” She looks at me and rolls her eyes.
“If I hadn’t shown up then the witches would be dead right now. We can debate this later, but for now, we need to concentrate so that we can hold this shield. Coven ladies, hurry up and work your magic. I don’t know how long I’ll have control. You know it is still hard for me.” They all nod their heads and begin the spell again.
“Tabitha, I thought I told you to handle that problem. Never mind. I’ll handle it myself as I should have done from the moment, I found out she was your daughter.” says Alex. How the hell did he find out about Shayla? We kept that information only between a select few.
Alex walks to the middle of the field and lifts into the air. Oh no! The last time this happened he was fighting Tabitha and this time he is even more powerful. The sky turned black and lightning flashed through the sky. Wind blew all around and debris started to fly around us. Electricity zipped through the field electrocuting quite a few soldiers on both sides, but his eyes were blazing and focused on one person...Shayla. Quickly, I stood in front of her and yelled at the witches to hurry the hell up and stop him before he hurts more people. They kept doing whatever they were doing, and I was busy trying to hold a shield around them while trying to protect Shayla.
His power kept intensifying and so did the wind and electricity zipping around. Wolves and Lycans on both sides were scrambling about trying to find somewhere safe to hide. The force of the wind was like we were standing in the middle of a hurricane. He yelled something but I couldn’t make it out due to the noise of the wind and a bolt of black electricity that looked like it was outlined by fire zipped straight towards me, but when it got about ten feet away from me it split into two separate streams as if it was going to go around me. The stream flowed like it had a mind of its own and in that moment, I knew there was nothing I could do to stop it from hitting her even if I dropped the shield. “NO!” I screamed the closer it got to us.
Suddenly, another huge surge of power was felt in the air and when I looked at Alex, Tabitha was ten feet behind him and her hair was swirling all around her with her hands outstretched towards Alex. Her body was outlined by black and blue electricity and a huge fireball seemed to be forming in her hands.
“You wanted me to kill my daughter.” She chuckles darkly. “You actually had the nerve to threaten to kill her if I didn’t do it myself and now you are trying to harm her in front of me as if I would just let that happen. I may not be able to kill you Alexander Trudeaux, but I can damn sure stop you from killing my daughter.” She bellows as the fire swirls from her hands and turns into the shape of a giant dragon as it snakes its way towards Alex. He turns his attention towards her and quickly shoots a beam at her fire dragon attack and when the two streams hit, it sounds like thunder mixed with an avalanche. The Earth shakes and knocks many of us off our feet. A blinding light illuminated the entire area and then everything went black.
