The Lycan King and His Mysterious Luna Chapter 50

“Hey, guys, if I were you I’d run. Don’t worry about these three. I can handle them, but you seem like nice enough wolves so I’m letting you go. You won’t want to be here when my mate, the King, gets here. Apparently, everyone is about to have a very bad day from the message he sent me.” They both look at one another before they take off running into the woods. I called out to them, and they stopped. “No! Don’t run that way or back to the compound. Run somewhere else.” They both nod and say their thanks before taking off in the direction I was running in before I stopped.

My strength has been waning while standing here but adrenaline coupled with my wolf and Lycan have been helping me. Hopefully it is enough to get me through my own battle. The one with the busted knee takes off after the wolves but I block him and he swings a punch at me that I duck and punch him as hard as I can in his stomach sending him flying 30 feet away. The other guy came charging at me and I narrowly missed a punch to my face. Using his momentum, I threw him over my shoulder and did a back flip landing on top of him straddling him. I grabbed the back of his head and slammed it into the ground a few times before rolling off and away from him. I can’t keep fighting like this because I’m already breathing hard. Okay kill shots it is then.

The one with the busted knee growls and transforms into his Lycan and the other one is transforming as well. Shit! I can’t transform with this crap in me. I’ll have to use all I’ve learned to take them out. Maybe if I attack before they are fully transformed, I can win faster. I grab a branch and break it to give it a pointy end before I run up to the one closest to me and ram it into his heart, then pull it out as he falls to the ground dead. The other one runs at me almost fully transitioned and this makes killing him a little harder because his claws are out, and his face is changing. I could get bitten or ripped apart if I’m not fast enough.

While he is charging at me, I have to think fast. He is almost on me when I run towards him and slide between his legs but before I can get up and turn to stab him, he grabs me by my hair and flings me into a tree. Ouch that hurt. That knocked the wind out of me, and he is now walking towards me. Think Freya. “Freya get up!” my wolf and Lycan yell at me. Slowly I get up and feel my bones cracking as I roll my shoulders. Looking down, I see that I ripped a part of this dress and see a shiny dagger peeking out at me. How could I have forgotten the pockets I had sewn into the dress? Well better late than never, I guess. I pulled out the daggers, which were six in total, and ripped the dress off me. Smirking at him, he stops and cocks his head looking at me. Oh we are definitely about to have fun now. I throw three knives at him in quick succession before he even knows what happened. By the time he looks down to see where they landed, I am running at him full speed and catapult over him before he can grab me. When he turns around to see where I am, I have already moved behind him. He turns towards me and I plunge the dagger I’m holding into his chest and cut out his heart. Then I stab the organ as his body falls to the ground, dead. Two down and one to go.

When I look around, I can’t find the leader. He must have run like the coward he is, but I will find him. Just when I am about to run towards the fight to help Alex, I am hit from behind by something and my vision gets blurry. I turn staggering on my feet to see him standing behind me smirking.

“Couldn’t fight me straight up, I see. Well, I guess I couldn’t expect anything less from a rogue.”

“I may be a rogue, but I’m still a Lycan. You couldn’t beat me in a fight fair or otherwise little girl.” Okay, now I’m pissed.

“I am not a little girl. Besides, I took down your two Lycan friends just fine.” Alex hurry, I don’t have much strength left.

“Don’t worry, I’ll break you of all that feistiness. You will learn to submit to the superior race.”

“And what race would that be?”

“LYCANS! You mutts have always overstepped your bounds but not anymore. When I rule you all will become slaves and know your place or die.”

“I’d rather die than be a slave to you or anyone.” Could he not tell that I was a Lycan too?

“You will get your wish, but not until I break you in every way and have you begging for death.”

“You are really sick and delusional. Do you think that the Moon Goddess will really sit back and let someone as cruel as you lead her children? You are a disgrace to the Lycan race. Actually, you’re a disgrace to all races.”

He growls and charges at me but I don’t have the strength to move out of his way in time, and he slams into me. We roll around on the ground trading blows, but I can tell that my energy is spent and use the last of it to kick him a few feet away from me. The blow to the head didn’t help either. I lay on the ground too tired to even lift my head as black spots started to dot my vision. I can feel my head being lifted a little off the ground before feeling excruciating pain where my mate mark is, and I start to thrash for a few minutes. There is an earth-shaking roar that I know belongs to my mate right before everything goes black. **
