The Lycan King and His Mysterious Luna Chapter 44

“Who are you and what are you doing here? You smell like a rogue.” She looks confused for a second and I take the advantage to try to run away but she catches me and punches me hard in the stomach. Damn she is strong. I double over in pain and see her eyes glaze over. Shit! If she manages to mind-link anyone before we get out of here, we are done. Seeing a vase on a table, I grab it and hit her in the head with it and she staggers on her feet. My team shows up just in time and throws a bag over her head and puts silver-laced chains on her hands and feet and we take off with her.

Once out of the castle, through a secret passage that we were told to use, we head into the forest and out to the road where a van is waiting for us. For a while she kicked and screamed but the dart finally kicked in and she passed out. It took an hour and a half to get back to the compound and thankfully the potion in the dart still had her knocked out.

The guys lift her sleeping form and carry her into one of the houses at the far back of the encampment away from everyone. I follow behind them opening doors until we head down into the basement. You can’t tell from looking at this place outside that there’s some pretty high-tech devices going on down here. We dumped her in an old panic room that the boss upgraded and closed the door. Once closed only he and one other can get in and out. Our job is done so now we just have to go home and wait to be paid. I could definitely use this money.

I reached my home and unlocked the door, then turned on the lights and headed upstairs to take a shower. Looking down at my stomach I see a bruise has formed from where that bitch punched me. She’s lucky we weren’t allowed to touch her or else I’d have hit her back. After my shower I walked out into my bedroom and put on my underwear and a nightgown before going downstairs for a snack. When I hit the last step, I can see the silhouettes of three men in my living room and quickly turn on the lights to see that my boss and his beta and lead warrior are all standing there. I bow and address them all, starting with our leader then I wait for him to speak.

“Katarina, you all did well tonight getting the girl here. Did you make sure that you were not seen?” My leader asks with a stern, emotionless face.

“Thank you, sir. I was certain that we were not seen by anyone. She did try to mind-link, but I hit her in the head with a vase before she could connect.” His nostrils flared and I bowed my head.

“Didn’t I tell you not to harm her? I wanted her without any bumps or bruises. Now I’ll have to wait until she heals in order to send the pictures, I planned on sending her mate.” An evil grin comes on his face, and I don’t want to even imagine what kind of pictures he plans on sending the Lycan King.

“Yes sir, but I didn’t know what else to do to stop her. I think I reacted quick enough to where she couldn’t contact anyone.” He moves so quickly that I didn’t see him until he was right in front of me with his hands around my throat.

“WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU THINK SHE DIDN’T CONNECT WITH SOMEONE?!” He yelled at me. I tried to answer him, but I couldn’t breathe. Suddenly he drops me, and I land hard on the floor gasping for air and sucking as much into my lungs as I can.

“SPEAK!” He shouts at me.

“I-I-It was only a few seconds, so I don’t think she had enough time to communicate with anyone. Certainly not enough time to say what was happening.” I bow my head again. His beta keeps looking at me with lust in his eyes and so does his warrior, and it makes me remember that I’m currently only in a nightgown and panties.

“Today wasn’t a total waste. Even if she did manage to warn anyone, they’d never find us or her for that matter. At least not until I’m ready for her to be found.” He smirks and the other two laugh. I can still see the other two with lustful looks as they stare at me. Keeping my head down, I wait to see what will happen when I hear two gunshots and then pure silence. When I look up again, our leader has a grin on his face that is pure evil and now I’m starting to become fearful.

“Sir, is there anything else that I can do for you tonight?” I’m hoping that he says he is done with questioning me. After they leave I’m locking my door and going back upstairs to my room and locking the doors and windows there too. No, it won’t keep them out but it’ll make enough noise for me to get away when they break the door down. While lost in thought awaiting his answer, I hear two more gunshots, only these are closer.

“Well, my dear, I am indeed done with you for tonight and every night that follows as far as the plan in concerned anyway.”

“It was a pleasure serving you sir.” That evil grin is back as he steps closer to me.

“I find it quite amusing that you’ve chosen those words, because pleasuring me is exactly what you will be doing tonight. After I’m done with you, these two will have a go at you. As you can no doubt tell, they have been wanting you the entire time we’ve been here, and I can’t deny my two best men a chance with you.”

“Wait what? You can’t be serious? I’m not having sex with you or anyone.”

“I’m very serious. What’s funny is that you believe you have a choice in the matter.”

He growls furiously at me. No, this can’t be happening. I won’t let it happen. I take off running towards the back door, since I know that I won’t make it pass them to get out the front door. Before I can turn the doorknob, I feel my hair being yanked back hard and I scream from the pain. It feels like my hair is being pulled out by the roots. I was punched in the stomach for the second time today and I doubled over in pain. He leans in and whispers in my ear, “I’m going to make you pay for trying to run and then I will make you beg for death before we’re all done ravaging this body of yours.” He growls and then I’m hit hard in the back of the head and darkness consumes me.

Rogue Leader’s POV

Finally I have the Lycan King’s weakness. When I heard that he had finally found his mate, I was more than ecstatic. He ruined my life years ago, and I’ve been waiting all this time to be able to get revenge on him and his family. If his father hadn’t stuck his nose in my business, I’d be Alpha of a well-respected pack and still have my mate. They talked her into rejecting me which probably didn’t take much convincing since she was always weak anyway. The fact that her daughter is mated to the Lycan King is just icing on the cake for me. Well, I guess I get to kill two birds with one stone. And I do mean that literally. After I wipe out the royals and my traitorous ex-mate's family, I’ll take over as ruler and take my ex-mate as my personal slave. I may even spare her daughter long enough for my men to have some fun with her, and only after she has been raped and beaten to the point of being completely broken will I kill her in front of her mother. Those high and mighty royal Lycans have been in power long enough, and now it is my time to rule.
