The Lycan King and His Mysterious Luna Chapter 76

When she reappears, she is standing in front of a panicked Lycan that is pacing back and forth outside of a bunker. The man is attractive but definitely not her type. Once the smoke clears, he approaches her and asks if she was able to accomplish her mission. She doesn’t speak to him, but simply nods to him and shows him the vial of blood. An evil smile appears across his face and she can tell that he is pleased.

“I am going to go to the other sisters and we will get to work on the two potions. Be ready when on the full moon. Everything must go according to schedule. We cannot be late even by a second or we will have done all of this for nothing. For a second there I thought he sensed my magic. There’s still a chance that he did, but with all those people around he may not have known where it was coming from, and if he figures it out, he’ll be looking for a man.”

“I’ll be ready for the full moon. Just make sure that nothing goes wrong before then. The last thing we need is for him and that mate of his to join forces again with those Coven of Light witches and spoil our plans. They must pay for ruining all my plans for my daughter and family. My family will pay as well for turning on me.”

“Everything will be ready on our end. This was the last thing we needed to complete the potions. They won’t know what hit them.” She laughs and then vanishes in a black cloud of mist. The man stands there smiling but unknown to them both, someone heard their plans and slowly started to make their way further away before the man could see them hiding.

“Well, well, well, I wonder what the Lycan King would pay for this information? Or even better, what would the Alpha of the Red River pack pay to know that the girl that once humiliated him when they were younger is now mated to the Lycan King?” He smiled and disappeared into the forest heading back to his home to think about who he should tell the information first.

Red River Territory

Once the man reached the territory, he went to the edge of the forest where his home was located. He entered his home and went into his office opening his laptop and began to do a search on the Lycan King’s mate. He needed to make sure that when he presented the information, he had all the facts. If anything was incorrect that could be the end of his life, especially if he decided to tell the Lycan King instead of his Alpha. It felt weird calling him an Alpha. Spoiled, entitled brat is more like it. Ever since he was a kid, the boy never had to lift a finger to do anything for himself, his daddy coddled him and only taught him that he was better than anyone beneath him because he is an Alpha. Well a lot of good that did him, because though he turned out to be an excellent fighter, he knows nothing of pack business, war strategy and planning, or anything important that goes with running a pack. All he cares about is partying and women and usually those two go hand in hand. His father is regretting handing the pack over to him two years ago, but there is nothing he can do about it now. He’s no longer the Alpha, therefore his authority means nothing. Whatever his bratty son says is the law here and unless someone challenges him for his title, or he gets demoted by the Lycan King, nothing will change. “I guess my decision is made then, I will tell the Lycan King and kill two birds with one stone. While I am there, I may as well tell him what is going on in this pack.” I say to myself while I continue to search online and after a few minutes I find what I’m looking for and confirm that the 14-year-old girl and the Lycan King’s mate are one in the same. He packs a bag and gets into his car to head to the palace in hopes of getting an audience with the king.

He drives for two hours before finally reaching the outer city of the Lycan kingdom and there seems to be construction going on and people are running around everywhere. He did hear that the Lycan King was doing reconstruction and there was a battle recently, but the extent of the damage was poorly communicated. The damage wasn’t terrible, but it was more than what people said.

He keeps traveling on the road leading up to the castle gates and waits for the guards that are posted there to come to the car. He rolls down the window as one of the guards walks to the window while the other three with him walk around inspecting the vehicle.

“State your business.” says the guard at the window.

“I have information that I believe the King and his mate will be interested in hearing.” The guard looks at the man with a curious gaze.

“What would this information be exactly?”

“I rather tell this information to them, but what I can tell you is that it involves a dark witch and a Lycan.” The guards’ eyes glaze over and the man knows that he is mind-linking with someone. More than likely the Beta but it could be the King. He figures that he will find out if he gets inside.

“You can proceed inside. Follow the drive until you reach the front of the castle and someone will direct you further from there.” says the head guard and the guy nods to him and drives forward once the gate opens. The guards have all returned to their posts and the gate closes after his car passes through. The city inside of the gates is not that different from the outer city. I guess not everyone wants to live within the gates of the kingdom. He keeps traveling until he reaches the circle drive leading to the front of the castle. There are about ten men waiting on the stairs to the palace door. He can tell from the auras that the one in the front has to be the Beta and the others are the kings’ guards.
